Isaiah 21:1 The word about the waste land. As storm-winds in the South go rushing through, it comes from the waste land, from the land greatly to be feared.	Jesaja 21:1 Dies ist die Last über die Wüste am Meer: Wie ein Wetter vom Mittag kommt, das alles umkehrt, so kommt's aus der Wüste, aus einem schrecklichen Lande.
Isaiah 21:2 A vision of fear comes before my eyes; the worker of deceit goes on in his false way, and the waster goes on making waste. Up! Elam; to the attack! Media; I have put an end to her sorrow.	Jesaja 21:2 Denn mir ist ein hartes Gesicht angezeigt: Der Räuber raubt, und der Verstörer verstört. Zieh herauf, Elam! belagere sie, Madai! Ich will allem Seufzen über sie ein Ende machen.
Isaiah 21:3 For this cause I am full of bitter grief; pains like the pains of a woman in childbirth have come on me: I am bent down with sorrow at what comes to my ears; I am shocked by what I see.	Jesaja 21:3 Derhalben sind meine Lenden voll Schmerzen, und Angst hat mich ergriffen wie eine Gebärerin; ich krümme mich, wenn ich's höre, und erschrecke, wenn ich's ansehe.
Isaiah 21:4 My mind is wandering, fear has overcome me: the evening of my desire has been turned into shaking for me.	Jesaja 21:4 Mein Herz zittert, Grauen hat mich betäubt; ich habe in der lieben Nacht keine Ruhe davor.
Isaiah 21:5 They make ready the table, they put down the covers, they take food and drink. Up! you captains; put oil on your breastplates.	Jesaja 21:5 Ja, richte einen Tisch zu, laß wachen auf der Warte, esset, trinket. "Macht euch auf, ihr Fürsten, schmiert den Schild!"
Isaiah 21:6 For so has the Lord said to me, Go, let a watchman be placed; let him give word of what he sees:	Jesaja 21:6 Denn der HERR sagte zu mir also: Gehe hin, stelle einen Wächter, der da schaue und ansage.
Isaiah 21:7 And when he sees war-carriages, horsemen by twos, war-carriages with asses, war-carriages with camels, let him give special attention.	Jesaja 21:7 Er sieht aber Reiter reiten auf Rossen, Eseln und Kamelen und hat mit großem Fleiß Achtung darauf.
Isaiah 21:8 And the watchman gave a loud cry, O my lord, I am on the watchtower all day, and am placed in my watch every night:	Jesaja 21:8 Und wie ein Löwe ruft er: Herr, ich stehe auf der Warte immerdar des Tages und stelle mich auf meine Hut alle Nacht.
Isaiah 21:9 See, here come war-carriages with men, horsemen by twos: and in answer he said, Babylon is made low, is made low, and all her images are broken on the earth.	Jesaja 21:9 Und siehe, da kommt einer, der fährt auf einem Wagen; der antwortet und spricht: Babel ist gefallen, sie ist gefallen, und alle Bilder ihrer Götter sind zu Boden geschlagen.

Isaiah 21:11 The word about Edom. A voice comes to me from Seir, Watchman, how far gone is the night? how far gone is the night?	Jesaja 21:11 Dies ist die Last über Duma: Man ruft zu mir aus Seir: Hüter, ist die Nacht schier hin? Hüter ist die Nacht schier hin?
Isaiah 21:12 The watchman says, The morning has come, but night is still to come: if you have questions to put, put them, and come back again.	Jesaja 21:12 Der Hüter aber sprach: Wenn der Morgen schon kommt, so wird es doch Nacht sein. Wenn ihr schon fragt, so werdet ihr doch wieder kommen und wieder fragen.
Isaiah 21:13 The word about Arabia. In the thick woods of Arabia will be your night's resting-place, O travelling bands of Dedanites!	Jesaja 21:13 Dies ist die Last über Arabien: ihr werdet im Walde in Arabien herbergen, ihr Reisezüge der Dedaniter.
Isaiah 21:14 Give water to him who is in need of water; give bread, O men of the land of Tema, to those in flight.	Jesaja 21:14 Bringet den Durstigen Wasser entgegen, die ihr wohnet im Lande Thema; bietet Brot den Flüchtigen.
Isaiah 21:15 For they are in flight from the sharp sword, and the bent bow, and from the trouble of war.	Jesaja 21:15 Denn sie fliehen vor dem Schwert, ja, vor dem bloßen Schwert, vor dem gespannten Bogen, vor dem großen Streit.
Isaiah 21:16 For so has the Lord said to me, In a year, by the years of a servant working for payment, all the glory of Kedar will come to an end:	Jesaja 21:16 Denn also spricht der HERR zu mir: Noch in einem Jahr, wie des Tagelöhners Jahre sind, soll alle Herrlichkeit Kedars untergehen,
Isaiah 21:17 And the rest of the bowmen, the men of war of the children of Kedar, will be small in number: for the Lord, the God of Israel, has said it.	Jesaja 21:17 und der übrigen Schützen der Helden zu Kedar soll wenig sein; denn der HERR, der Gott Israels, hat's geredet.
