|
| Be not judges of others, and you will not be judged. | Richtet nicht, auf daß ihr nicht gerichtet werdet. |
| For as you have been judging, so you will be judged, and with your measure will it be measured to you. | Denn mit welcherlei Gericht ihr richtet, werdet ihr gerichtet werden; und mit welcherlei Maß ihr messet, wird euch gemessen werden. |
| And why do you take note of the grain of dust in your brother's eye, but take no note of the bit of wood which is in your eye? | Was siehst du aber den Splitter in deines Bruders Auge, und wirst nicht gewahr des Balkens in deinem Auge? |
| Or how will you say to your brother, Let me take out the grain of dust from your eye, when you yourself have a bit of wood in your eye? | Oder wie darfst du sagen zu deinem Bruder: Halt, ich will dir den Splitter aus deinem Auge ziehen, und siehe, ein Balken ist in deinem Auge? |
| You false one, first take out the bit of wood from your eye, then will you see clearly to take out the grain of dust from your brother's eye. | Du Heuchler, zieh am ersten den Balken aus deinem Auge; darnach siehe zu, wie du den Splitter aus deines Bruders Auge ziehst! |
| Do not give that which is holy to the dogs, or put your jewels before pigs, for fear that they will be crushed under foot by the pigs whose attack will then be made against you. | Ihr sollt das Heiligtum nicht den Hunden geben, und eure Perlen nicht vor die Säue werfen, auf daß sie dieselben nicht zertreten mit ihren Füßen und sich wenden und euch zerreißen. |
| Make a request, and it will be answered; what you are searching for you will get; give the sign, and the door will be open to you: | Bittet, so wird euch gegeben; suchet, so werdet ihr finden; klopfet an, so wird euch aufgetan. |
| Because to everyone who makes a request, it will be given; and he who is searching will get his desire, and to him who gives the sign, the door will be open. | Denn wer da bittet, der empfängt; und wer da sucht, der findet; und wer da anklopft, dem wird aufgetan. |
| Or which of you, if his son makes a request for bread, will give him a stone? | Welcher ist unter euch Menschen, so ihn sein Sohn bittet ums Brot, der ihm einen Stein biete? |
| Or if he makes a request for a fish, will give him a snake? | oder, so er ihn bittet um einen Fisch, der ihm eine Schlange biete? |
| If you, then, being evil, are able to give good things to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who make requests to him? | So denn ihr, die ihr doch arg seid, könnt dennoch euren Kindern gute Gaben geben, wie viel mehr wird euer Vater im Himmel Gutes geben denen, die ihn bitten! |
| All those things, then, which you would have men do to you, even so do you to them: because this is the law and the prophets. | Alles nun, was ihr wollt, daß euch die Leute tun sollen, das tut ihr ihnen auch. Das ist das Gesetz und die Propheten. |
| Go in by the narrow door; for wide is the door and open is the way which goes to destruction, and great numbers go in by it. | Gehet ein durch die enge Pforte. Denn die Pforte ist weit, und der Weg ist breit, der zur Verdammnis abführt; und ihrer sind viele, die darauf wandeln. |
| For narrow is the door and hard the road to life, and only a small number make discovery of it. | Und die Pforte ist eng, und der Weg ist schmal, der zum Leben führt; und wenige sind ihrer, die ihn finden. |
| Be on the watch for false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inside they are cruel wolves. | Seht euch vor vor den falschen Propheten, die in Schafskleidern zu euch kommen, inwendig aber sind sie reißende Wölfe. |
| By their fruits you will get knowledge of them. Do men get grapes from thorns or figs from thistles? | An ihren Früchten sollt ihr sie erkennen. Kann man auch Trauben lesen von den Dornen oder Feigen von den Disteln? |
| Even so, every good tree gives good fruit; but the bad tree gives evil fruit. | Also ein jeglicher guter Baum bringt gute Früchte; aber ein fauler Baum bringt arge Früchte. |
| It is not possible for a good tree to give bad fruit, and a bad tree will not give good fruit. | Ein guter Baum kann nicht arge Früchte bringen, und ein fauler Baum kann nicht gute Früchte bringen. |
| Every tree which does not give good fruit is cut down and put in the fire. | Ein jeglicher Baum, der nicht gute Früchte bringt, wird abgehauen und ins Feuer geworfen. |
| So by their fruits you will get knowledge of them. | Darum an ihren Früchten sollt ihr sie erkennen. |
| Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will go into the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the pleasure of my Father in heaven. | Es werden nicht alle, die zu mir sagen: HERR, HERR! ins Himmelreich kommen, sondern die den Willen tun meines Vaters im Himmel. |
| A great number will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, were we not prophets in your name, and did we not by your name send out evil spirits, and by your name do works of power? | Es werden viele zu mir sagen an jenem Tage: HERR, HERR! haben wir nicht in deinem Namen geweissagt, haben wir nicht in deinem Namen Teufel ausgetrieben, und haben wir nicht in deinem Namen viele Taten getan? |
| And then will I say to them, I never had knowledge of you: go from me, you workers of evil. | Dann werde ich ihnen bekennen: Ich habe euch noch nie erkannt; weichet alle von mir, ihr Übeltäter! |
| Everyone, then, to whom my words come and who does them, will be like a wise man who made his house on a rock; | Darum, wer diese meine Rede hört und tut sie, den vergleiche ich einem klugen Mann, der sein Haus auf einen Felsen baute. |
| And the rain came down and there was a rush of waters and the winds were driving against that house, but it was not moved; because it was based on the rock. | Da nun ein Platzregen fiel und ein Gewässer kam und wehten die Winde und stießen an das Haus, fiel es doch nicht; denn es war auf einen Felsen gegründet. |
| And everyone to whom my words come and who does them not, will be like a foolish man who made his house on sand; | Und wer diese meine Rede hört und tut sie nicht, der ist einem törichten Manne gleich, der sein Haus auf den Sand baute. |
| And the rain came down and there was a rush of waters and the winds were driving against that house; and it came down and great was its fall. | Da nun ein Platzregen fiel und kam ein Gewässer und wehten die Winde und stießen an das Haus, da fiel es und tat einen großen Fall. |
| And it came about, when Jesus had come to the end of these words, that the people were surprised at his teaching, | Und es begab sich, da Jesus diese Rede vollendet hatte, entsetzte sich das Volk über seine Lehre. |
| for he was teaching as one having authority, and not as their scribes. | Denn er predigte gewaltig und nicht wie die Schriftgelehrten. |
