Nehemiah 5:1 Then there was a great outcry from the people and their wives against their countrymen the Jews.	Nehemia 5:1 Und es erhob sich ein großes Geschrei des Volkes und ihrer Weiber wider ihre Brüder, die Juden.
Nehemiah 5:2 For there were some who said, We, our sons and our daughters, are a great number: let us get grain, so that we may have food for our needs.	Nehemia 5:2 Und waren etliche, die da sprachen: Unserer Söhne und Töchter sind viel; laßt uns Getreide nehmen und essen, daß wir leben.
Nehemiah 5:3 And there were some who said, We are giving our fields and our vine-gardens and our houses for debt: let us get grain because we are in need.	Nehemia 5:3 Aber etliche sprachen: Laßt uns unsre Äcker, Weinberge und Häuser versetzen und Getreide nehmen in der Teuerung.
Nehemiah 5:4 And there were others who said, We have given up our fields and our vine-gardens to get money for the king's taxes.	Nehemia 5:4 Etliche aber sprachen: Wir habe Geld entlehnt zum Schoß für den König auf unsre Äcker und Weinberge;
Nehemiah 5:5 But our flesh is the same as the flesh of our countrymen, and our children as their children: and now we are giving our sons and daughters into the hands of others, to be their servants, and some of our daughters are servants even now: and we have no power to put a stop to it; for other men have our fields and our vine-gardens.	Nehemia 5:5 nun ist doch wie unsrer Brüder Leib auch unser Leib und wie ihre Kinder unsre Kinder, und siehe, wir müssen unsre Söhne und Töchter unterwerfen dem Dienst, und sind schon unsrer Töchter etliche unterworfen, und ist kein Vermögen in unsern Händen, und unsre Äcker und Weinberge sind der andern geworden.
Nehemiah 5:6 And on hearing their outcry and what they said I was very angry.	Nehemia 5:6 Da ich aber ihr Schreien und solche Worte hörte, ward ich sehr zornig.
Nehemiah 5:7 And after turning it over in my mind, I made a protest to the chiefs and the rulers, and said to them, Every one of you is taking interest from his countryman. And I got together a great meeting of protest.	Nehemia 5:7 Und mein Herz ward Rats mit mir, daß ich schalt die Ratsherren und die Obersten und sprach zu ihnen: Wollt ihr einer auf den andern Wucher treiben? Und ich brachte die Gemeinde wider sie zusammen
Nehemiah 5:8 And I said to them, We have given whatever we were able to give, to make our brothers the Jews free, who were servants and prisoners of the nations: and would you now give up your brothers for a price, and are they to become our property? Then they said nothing, answering not a word.	Nehemia 5:8 und sprach zu ihnen: Wir haben unsre Brüder, die Juden, erkauft die den Heiden verkauft waren, nach unserm Vermögen; und ihr wollt auch eure Brüder verkaufen und sie sollen uns verkauft werden? Da schwiegen sie und fanden nichts zu antworten.
Nehemiah 5:9 And I said, What you are doing is not good: is it not the more necessary for you to go in the fear of our God, because of the shame which the nations may put on us?	Nehemia 5:9 Und ich sprach: Es ist nicht gut, was ihr tut. Solltet ihr nicht in der Furcht Gottes wandeln um des Hohnes willen der Heiden, unsrer Feinde?
Nehemiah 5:10 Even I and my servants have been taking interest for the money and the grain we have let them have. So now, let us give up this thing.	Nehemia 5:10 Ich und meine Brüder und meine Leute haben ihnen auch Geld geliehen und Getreide; laßt uns doch diese Schuld erlassen.
Nehemiah 5:11 Give back to them this very day their fields, their vine-gardens, their olive-gardens, and their houses, as well as a hundredth part of the money and the grain and the wine and the oil which you have taken from them.	Nehemia 5:11 So gebt ihnen nun heute wieder ihre Äcker, Weinberge, Ölgärten und Häuser und den Hundertsten am Geld, am Getreide, am Most und am Öl, den ihr von ihnen zu fordern habt.
Nehemiah 5:12 Then they said, We will give them back, and take nothing for them; we will do as you say. Then I sent for the priests and made them take an oath that they would keep this agreement.	Nehemia 5:12 Da sprachen sie: Wir wollen's wiedergeben und wollen nichts von ihnen fordern und wollen tun wie du gesagt hast. Und ich rief die Priester und nahm einen Eid von ihnen, daß sie also tun sollten.
Nehemiah 5:13 And shaking out the folds of my robe, I said, So may God send out from his house and his work every man who does not keep this agreement; even so let him be sent out and made as nothing. And all the meeting of the people said, So be it, and gave praise to the Lord. And the people did as they had said.	Nehemia 5:13 Auch schüttelte ich meinen Busen aus und sprach: Also schüttle Gott aus jedermann von seinem Hause und von seiner Arbeit, der dies Wort nicht handhabt, daß er sei ausgeschüttelt und leer. Und die ganze Gemeinde sprach: Amen! und lobte den HERRN. Und das Volk tat also.
Nehemiah 5:14 Now from the time when I was made ruler of the people in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year till the thirty-second year of Artaxerxes the king, for twelve years, I and my servants have never taken the food which was the right of the ruler.	Nehemia 5:14 Auch von der Zeit an, da mir befohlen ward, ihr Landpfleger zu sein im Lande Juda, nämlich vom zwanzigsten Jahr an bis in das zweiunddreißigste Jahr des Königs Arthahsastha, das sind zwölf Jahre, nährte ich mich und meine Brüder nicht von der Landpfleger Kost.
Nehemiah 5:15 But earlier rulers who were before me made the people responsible for their upkeep, and took from them bread and wine at the rate of forty shekels of silver; and even their servants were lords over the people: but I did not do so, because of the fear of God.	Nehemia 5:15 Denn die vorigen Landpfleger, die vor mir gewesen waren, hatten das Volk beschwert und hatten von ihnen genommen Brot und Wein, dazu auch vierzig Silberlinge; auch waren die Leute mit Gewalt gefahren über das Volk. Ich tat aber nicht also um der Furcht Gottes willen.
Nehemiah 5:16 And I kept on with the work of this wall, and we got no land for ourselves: and all my servants were helping with the work.	Nehemia 5:16 Auch arbeitete ich an der Mauer Arbeit und kaufte keinen Acker; und alle meine Leute mußten daselbst an die Arbeit zuhauf kommen.
Nehemiah 5:17 And more than this, a hundred and fifty of the Jews and the rulers were guests at my table, in addition to those who came to us from the nations round about us.	Nehemia 5:17 Dazu waren die Juden und Obersten hundertundfünfzig an meinem Tisch und die zu uns kamen aus den Heiden, die um uns her sind.
Nehemiah 5:18 Now the food made ready for one day was one ox and six fat sheep, as well as fowls; and once in ten days a store of all sorts of wine: but all the same, I did not take the food to which the ruler had a right, because the people were crushed under a hard yoke.	Nehemia 5:18 Und man gebrauchte für mich des Tages einen Ochsen und sechs erwählte Schafe und Vögel und je innerhalb zehn Tagen allerlei Wein die Menge. Dennoch forderte ich nicht der Landpfleger Kost; denn der Dienst war schwer auf dem Volk.
Nehemiah 5:19 Keep in mind, O my God, for my good, all I have done for this people.	Nehemia 5:19 Gedenke mir, mein Gott, zum Besten alles, was ich diesem Volk getan habe!
