Proverbs 2	Die Spruche 2
Proverbs 2:1 My son, if you will take my words to your heart, storing up my laws in your mind;	Die Spruche 2:1 Mein Kind, so du willst meine Rede annehmen und meine Gebote bei dir behalten,
Proverbs 2:2 So that your ear gives attention to wisdom, and your heart is turned to knowledge;	Die Spruche 2:2 daß dein Ohr auf Weisheit achthat und du dein Herz mit Fleiß dazu neigest;
Proverbs 2:3 Truly, if you are crying out for good sense, and your request is for knowledge;	Die Spruche 2:3 ja, so du mit Fleiß darnach rufest und darum betest;
Proverbs 2:4 If you are looking for her as for silver, and searching for her as for stored-up wealth;	Die Spruche 2:4 so du sie suchest wie Silber und nach ihr froschest wie nach Schätzen:
Proverbs 2:5 Then the fear of the Lord will be clear to you, and knowledge of God will be yours.	Die Spruche 2:5 alsdann wirst du die Furcht des HERRN verstehen und Gottes Erkenntnis finden.
Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; out of his mouth come knowledge and reason:	Die Spruche 2:6 Denn der HERR gibt Weisheit, und aus seinem Munde kommt Erkenntnis und Verstand.
Proverbs 2:7 He has salvation stored up for the upright, he is a breastplate to those in whom there is no evil;	Die Spruche 2:7 Er läßt's den Aufrichtigen gelingen und beschirmt die Frommen
Proverbs 2:8 He keeps watch on the ways which are right, and takes care of those who have the fear of him.	Die Spruche 2:8 und behütet die, so recht tun, und bewahrt den Weg seiner Heiligen.
Proverbs 2:9 Then you will have knowledge of righteousness and right acting, and upright behaviour, even of every good way.	Die Spruche 2:9 Alsdann wirst du verstehen Gerechtigkeit und Recht und Frömmigkeit und allen guten Weg.
Proverbs 2:10 For wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasing to your soul;	Die Spruche 2:10 Denn Weisheit wird in dein Herz eingehen, daß du gerne lernst;
Proverbs 2:11 Wise purposes will be watching over you, and knowledge will keep you;	Die Spruche 2:11 guter Rat wird dich bewahren, und Verstand wird dich behüten,
Proverbs 2:12 Giving you salvation from the evil man, from those whose words are false;	Die Spruche 2:12 daß du nicht geratest auf den Weg der Bösen noch unter die verkehrten Schwätzer,
Proverbs 2:13 Who give up the way of righteousness, to go by dark roads;	Die Spruche 2:13 die da verlassen die rechte Bahn und gehen finstere Wege,
Proverbs 2:14 Who take pleasure in wrongdoing, and have joy in the evil designs of the sinner;	Die Spruche 2:14 die sich freuen, Böses zu tun, und sind fröhlich in ihrem bösen, verkehrten Wesen,
Proverbs 2:15 Whose ways are not straight, and whose footsteps are turned to evil:	Die Spruche 2:15 welche ihren Weg verkehren und folgen ihrem Abwege;
Proverbs 2:16 To take you out of the power of the strange woman, who says smooth words with her tongue;	Die Spruche 2:16 daß du nicht geratest an eines andern Weib, an eine Fremde, die glatte Worte gibt
Proverbs 2:17 Who is false to the husband of her early years, and does not keep the agreement of her God in mind:	Die Spruche 2:17 und verläßt den Freund ihrer Jugend und vergißt den Bund ihres Gottes
Proverbs 2:18 For her house is on the way down to death; her footsteps go down to the shades:	Die Spruche 2:18 (denn ihr Haus neigt sich zum Tod und ihre Gänge zu den Verlorenen;
Proverbs 2:19 Those who go to her do not come back again; their feet do not keep in the ways of life:	Die Spruche 2:19 alle, die zu ihr eingehen, kommen nicht wieder und ergreifen den Weg des Lebens nicht);
Proverbs 2:20 So that you may go in the way of good men, and keep in the footsteps of the upright.	Die Spruche 2:20 auf daß du wandelst auf gutem Wege und bleibst auf der rechten Bahn.
Proverbs 2:21 For the upright will be living in the land, and the good will have it for their heritage.	Die Spruche 2:21 Denn die Gerechten werden im Lande wohnen, und die Frommen werden darin bleiben;
Proverbs 2:22 But sinners will be cut off from the land, and those whose acts are false will be uprooted.	Die Spruche 2:22 aber die Gottlosen werden aus dem Lande ausgerottet, und die Verächter werden daraus vertilgt.
