Proverbs 24:1 Have no envy for evil men, or any desire to be with them:	Die Spruche 24:1 Folge nicht bösen Leuten und wünsche nicht, bei ihnen zu sein;
Proverbs 24:2 For the purposes of their hearts are destruction, and their lips are talking of trouble.	Die Spruche 24:2 denn ihr Herz trachte nach Schaden, und ihre Lippen raten zu Unglück.
Proverbs 24:3 The building of a house is by wisdom, and by reason it is made strong:	Die Spruche 24:3 Durch Weisheit wird ein Haus gebaut und durch Verstand erhalten.
Proverbs 24:4 And by knowledge its rooms are full of all dear and pleasing things.	Die Spruche 24:4 Durch ordentliches Haushalten werden die Kammern voll aller köstlichen, lieblichen Reichtümer.
Proverbs 24:5 A wise man is strong; and a man of knowledge makes strength greater.	Die Spruche 24:5 Ein weiser Mann ist stark, und ein vernünftiger Mann ist mächtig von Kräften.
Proverbs 24:6 For by wise guiding you will overcome in war: and in a number of wise guides there is salvation.	Die Spruche 24:6 Denn mit Rat muß man Krieg führen; und wo viele Ratgeber sind, da ist der Sieg.
Proverbs 24:7 Wisdom is outside the power of the foolish: he keeps his mouth shut in the public place.	Die Spruche 24:7 Weisheit ist dem Narren zu hoch; er darf seinen Mund im Tor nicht auftun.
Proverbs 24:8 He whose purposes are bad will be named a man of evil designs.	Die Spruche 24:8 Wer sich vornimmt, Böses zu tun, den heißt man billig einen Erzbösewicht.
Proverbs 24:9 The purpose of the foolish is sin: and the hater of authority is disgusting to others.	Die Spruche 24:9 Des Narren Tücke ist Sünde, und der Spötter ist ein Greuel vor den Leuten.
Proverbs 24:10 If you give way in the day of trouble, your strength is small.	Die Spruche 24:10 Der ist nicht stark, der in der Not nicht fest ist.
Proverbs 24:11 Be the saviour of those who are given up to death, and do not keep back help from those who are slipping to destruction.	Die Spruche 24:11 Errette die, so man töten will; und entzieh dich nicht von denen, die man würgen will.
Proverbs 24:12 If you say, See, we had no knowledge of this: does not the tester of hearts give thought to it? and he who keeps your soul, has he no knowledge of it? and will he not give to every man the reward of his work?	Die Spruche 24:12 Sprichst du: "Siehe, wir verstehen's nicht!" meinst du nicht, der die Herzen wägt, merkt es, und der auf deine Seele achthat, kennt es und vergilt dem Menschen nach seinem Werk?
Proverbs 24:13 My son, take honey, for it is good; and the flowing honey, which is sweet to your taste:	Die Spruche 24:13 Iß, mein Sohn, Honig, denn er ist gut, und Honigseim ist süß in deinem Halse.
Proverbs 24:14 So let your desire be for wisdom: if you have it, there will be a future, and your hope will not be cut off.	Die Spruche 24:14 Also lerne die Weisheit für deine Seele. Wo du sie findest, so wird's hernach wohl gehen, und deine Hoffnung wird nicht umsonst sein.
Proverbs 24:15 Do not keep a secret watch, O evil-doer, against the fields of the upright man, or send destruction on his resting-place:	Die Spruche 24:15 Laure nicht als Gottloser auf das Haus des Gerechten; verstöre seine Ruhe nicht.
Proverbs 24:16 For an upright man, after falling seven times, will get up again: but trouble is the downfall of the evil.	Die Spruche 24:16 Denn ein Gerechter fällt siebenmal und steht wieder auf; aber die Gottlosen versinken im Unglück.
Proverbs 24:17 Do not be glad at the fall of your hater, and let not your heart have joy at his downfall:	Die Spruche 24:17 Freue dich des Falles deines Feindes nicht, und dein Herz sei nicht froh über seinem Unglück;
Proverbs 24:18 For fear that the Lord may see it, and it may be evil in his eyes, and his wrath may be turned away from him.	Die Spruche 24:18 der HERR möchte es sehen, und es möchte ihm übel gefallen und er seine Zorn von ihm wenden.
Proverbs 24:19 Do not be troubled because of evil-doers, or have envy of sinners:	Die Spruche 24:19 Erzürne dich nicht über die Bösen und eifere nicht über die Gottlosen.
Proverbs 24:20 For there will be no future for the evil man; the light of sinners will be put out.	Die Spruche 24:20 Denn der Böse hat nichts zu hoffen, und die Leuchte der Gottlosen wird verlöschen.
Proverbs 24:21 My son, go in fear of the Lord and the king: have nothing to do with those who are in high positions:	Die Spruche 24:21 Mein Kind, fürchte den HERRN und den König und menge dich nicht unter die Aufrührer.
Proverbs 24:22 For their downfall will come suddenly; and who has knowledge of the destruction of those in high positions?	Die Spruche 24:22 Denn ihr Verderben wird plötzlich entstehen; und wer weiß, wann beider Unglück kommt?
Proverbs 24:23 These are more sayings of the wise: To have respect for a person's position when judging is not good.	Die Spruche 24:23 Dies sind auch Worte von Weisen. Die Person ansehen im Gericht ist nicht gut.
Proverbs 24:24 He who says to the evil-doer, You are upright, will be cursed by peoples and hated by nations.	Die Spruche 24:24 Wer zum Gottlosen spricht: "Du bist fromm", dem fluchen die Leute, und das Volk haßt ihn.
Proverbs 24:25 But those who say sharp words to him will have delight, and a blessing of good will come on them.	Die Spruche 24:25 Welche aber strafen, die gefallen wohl, und kommt ein reicher Segen auf sie.
Proverbs 24:26 He gives a kiss with his lips who gives a right answer.	Die Spruche 24:26 Eine richtige Antwort ist wie ein lieblicher Kuß.
Proverbs 24:27 Put your work in order outside, and make it ready in the field; and after that, see to the building of your house.	Die Spruche 24:27 Richte draußen dein Geschäft aus und bearbeite deinen Acker; darnach baue dein Haus.
Proverbs 24:28 Do not be a violent witness against your neighbour, or let your lips say what is false.	Die Spruche 24:28 Sei nicht Zeuge ohne Ursache wider deinen Nächsten und betrüge nicht mit deinem Munde.
Proverbs 24:29 Say not, I will do to him as he has done to me; I will give the man the reward of his work.	Die Spruche 24:29 Sprich nicht: "Wie man mir tut, so will ich wieder tun und einem jeglichen sein Werk vergelten."
Proverbs 24:30 I went by the field of the hater of work, and by the vine-garden of the man without sense;	Die Spruche 24:30 Ich ging am Acker des Faulen vorüber und am Weinberg des Narren;
Proverbs 24:31 And it was all full of thorns, and covered with waste plants, and its stone wall was broken down.	Die Spruche 24:31 und siehe, da waren eitel Nesseln darauf, und er stand voll Disteln, und die Mauer war eingefallen.
Proverbs 24:32 Then looking at it, I gave thought: I saw, and I got teaching from it.	Die Spruche 24:32 Da ich das sah, nahm ich's zu Herzen und schaute und lernte daran.
Proverbs 24:33 A little sleep, a little rest, a little folding of the hands in sleep:	Die Spruche 24:33 Du willst ein wenig schlafen und ein wenig schlummern und ein wenig deine Hände zusammentun, daß du ruhest:
Proverbs 24:34 So loss will come on you like an outlaw, and your need like an armed man.	Die Spruche 24:34 aber es wird dir deine Armut kommen wie ein Wanderer und dein Mangel wie ein gewappneter Mann.
