Zephaniah 1	Zephanja 1
Zephaniah 1:1 The word of the Lord which came to Zephaniah, the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah, the son of Amon, king of Judah.	Zephanja 1:1 Dies ist das Wort des HERRN, welches geschah zu Zephanja, dem Sohn Chusis, des Sohnes Gedaljas, des Sohnes Amarjas, des Sohnes Hiskias, zur Zeit Josias, des Sohnes Amons, des Königs in Juda.
Zephaniah 1:2 I will take away everything from the face of the earth, says the Lord.	Zephanja 1:2 Ich will alles aus dem Lande wegnehmen, spricht der HERR.
Zephaniah 1:3 I will take away man and beast; I will take away the birds of the heaven and the fishes of the sea; causing the downfall of the evil-doers, and cutting man off from the face of the earth, says the Lord.	Zephanja 1:3 Ich will Menschen und Vieh, Vögel des Himmels und Fische im Meer wegnehmen samt den Ärgernissen und den Gottlosen; ja, ich will die Menschen ausreuten aus dem Lande, spricht der HERR.
Zephaniah 1:4 And my hand will be stretched out on Judah and on all the people of Jerusalem, cutting off the name of the Baal from this place, and the name of the false priests,	Zephanja 1:4 Ich will meine Hand ausstrecken über Juda und über alle, die zu Jerusalem wohnen; also will ich das übrige von Baal ausreuten, dazu den Namen der Götzenpfaffen und Priester aus diesem Ort;
Zephaniah 1:5 And the worshippers of the army of heaven on the house-tops, and the Lord's worshippers who take oaths by Milcom,	Zephanja 1:5 und die, so auf den Dächern des Himmels Heer anbeten; die es anbeten und schwören doch bei dem HERRN und zugleich bei Milkom;
Zephaniah 1:6 And those who are turned back from going after the Lord, and those who have not made prayer to the Lord or got directions from him.	Zephanja 1:6 und die vom HERRN abfallen, und die nach dem HERRN nichts fragen und ihn nicht achten.
Zephaniah 1:7 Let there be no sound before the Lord God: for the day of the Lord is near: for the Lord has made ready an offering, he has made his guests holy.	Zephanja 1:7 Seid still vor dem HERRN HERRN, denn des HERRN Tag ist nahe; denn der HERR hat ein Schlachtopfer zubereitet und seine Gäste dazu geladen.
Zephaniah 1:8 And it will come about in the day of the Lord's offering, that I will send punishment on the rulers and the king's sons and all who are clothed in robes from strange lands.	Zephanja 1:8 Und am Tage des Schlachtopfers des HERRN will ich heimsuchen die Fürsten und des Königs Kinder und alle, die ein fremdes Kleid tragen.
Zephaniah 1:9 And in that day I will send punishment on all those who come jumping over the doorstep and make their master's house full of violent behaviour and deceit.	Zephanja 1:9 Auch will ich zur selben Zeit die heimsuchen, so über die Schwelle springen, die ihres HERRN Haus füllen mit Rauben und Trügen.
Zephaniah 1:10 And in that day, says the Lord, there will be the sound of a cry from the fish doorway, and an outcry from the new town, and a great thundering from the hills, and cries of grief from the people of the Hollow;	Zephanja 1:10 Zur selben Zeit, spricht der HERR, wird sich ein lautes Geschrei erheben von dem Fischtor her und ein Geheul von dem andern Teil der Stadt und ein großer Jammer von den Hügeln.
Zephaniah 1:11 Because of the downfall of all the people of Canaan: all those who were weighted down with silver have been cut off.	Zephanja 1:11 Heulet, die ihr in der Mühle wohnt; denn das ganze Krämervolk ist dahin, und alle, die Geld sammeln, sind ausgerottet.
Zephaniah 1:12 And it will come about at that time, that I will go searching through Jerusalem with lights; and I will send punishment on the men who have become like wine stored over-long, who say to themselves, The Lord will not do good and will not do evil.	Zephanja 1:12 Zur selben Zeit will ich Jerusalem mit Leuchten durchsuchen und will heimsuchen die Leute, die auf ihren Hefen liegen und sprechen in ihrem Herzen: Der HERR wird weder Gutes noch Böses tun.
Zephaniah 1:13 And their wealth will be violently taken away, and their houses will be made waste: they will go on building houses and never living in them, and planting vine-gardens but not drinking the wine from them.	Zephanja 1:13 Und ihre Güter sollen zum Raub werden und ihre Häuser zur Wüste. Sie werden Häuser bauen, und nicht darin wohnen; sie werden Weinberge pflanzen, und keinen Wein davon trinken.
Zephaniah 1:14 The great day of the Lord is near, it is near and coming very quickly; the bitter day of the Lord is near, coming on more quickly than a man of war.	Zephanja 1:14 Des HERRN großer Tag ist nahe; er ist nahe und eilt sehr. Wenn das Geschrei vom Tage des HERRN kommen wird, so werden die Starken alsdann bitterlich schreien.
Zephaniah 1:15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and sorrow, a day of wasting and destruction, a day of dark night and deep shade, a day of cloud and thick dark.	Zephanja 1:15 Denn dieser Tag ist ein Tag des Grimmes, ein Tag der Trübsal und Angst, ein Tag des Wetters und Ungestüms, ein Tag der Finsternis und Dunkels, ein Tag der Wolken und Nebel,
Zephaniah 1:16 A day of sounding the horn and the war-cry against the walled towns and the high towers.	Zephanja 1:16 ein Tag der Posaune und Drommete wider die festen Städte und hohen Schlösser.
Zephaniah 1:17 And I will send trouble on men so that they will go about like the blind, because they have done evil against the Lord: and their blood will be drained out like dust, and their strength like waste.	Zephanja 1:17 Ich will den Leuten bange machen, daß sie umhergehen sollen wie die Blinden, darum daß sie wider den HERRN gesündigt haben. Ihr Blut soll ausgeschüttet werden, als wäre es Staub, und ihr Leib als wäre es Kot.
Zephaniah 1:18 Even their silver and their gold will not be able to keep them safe in the day of the Lord's wrath; but all the land will be burned up in the fire of his bitter wrath: for he will put an end, even suddenly, to all who are living in the land.	Zephanja 1:18 Es wird sie ihr Silber und Gold nicht erretten können am Tage des Zorns des HERRN, sondern das ganze Land soll durch das Feuer seines Eifers verzehrt werden; denn er wird plötzlich ein Ende machen mit allen, die im Lande wohnen.
