Acts 13:1 Now there were at Antioch, in the church there, prophets and teachers, Barnabas, and Symeon who was named Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, a relation of Herod the king, and Saul.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:1 Or nella chiesa d’Antiochia v’eran dei profeti e dei dottori: Barnaba, Simeone chiamato Niger, Lucio di Cirene, Manaen, fratello di latte di Erode il tetrarca, e Saulo.
Acts 13:2 And while they were doing the Lord's work, and going without food, the Holy Spirit said, Let Barnabas and Saul be given to me for the special work for which they have been marked out by me.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:2 E mentre celebravano il culto del Signore e digiunavano, lo Spirito Santo disse: Mettetemi a parte Barnaba e Saulo per l’opera alla quale li ho chiamati.
Acts 13:3 Then, after prayer and going without food they put their hands on them, and sent them away.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:3 Allora, dopo aver digiunato e pregato, imposero loro le mani, e li accomiatarono.
Acts 13:4 So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia; and from there they went by ship to Cyprus.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:4 Essi dunque, mandati dallo Spirito Santo, scesero a Seleucia, e di là navigarono verso Cipro.
Acts 13:5 And at Salamis they were preaching the word of God in the Synagogues of the Jews: and John was with them, helping them.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:5 E giunti a Salamina, annunziarono la parola di Dio nelle sinagoghe de’ Giudei: e aveano seco Giovanni come aiuto.
Acts 13:6 And when they had gone through all the island to Paphos, they came across a certain wonder-worker and false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar-Jesus;	Atti degli Apostoli 13:6 Poi, traversata tutta l’isola fino a Pafo, trovarono un certo mago, un falso profeta giudeo, che avea nome Bar-Gesù,
Acts 13:7 Who was with the ruler, Sergius Paulus, an able man. This man sent for Barnabas and Saul, desiring to have knowledge of the word of God.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:7 il quale era col proconsole Sergio Paolo, uomo intelligente. Questi, chiamati a sé Barnaba e Saulo, chiese d’udir la parola di Dio.
Acts 13:8 But Elymas, the wonder-worker (for that is the sense of his name), put himself against them, with the purpose of turning the ruler from the faith.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:8 Ma Elima, il mago (perché così s’interpreta questo suo nome), resisteva loro, cercando di stornare il proconsole dalla fede.
Acts 13:9 But Saul, whose other name is Paul, being full of the Holy Spirit, looking hard at him, said,	Atti degli Apostoli 13:9 Ma Saulo, chiamato anche Paolo, pieno dello Spirito Santo, guardandolo fisso gli disse:
Acts 13:10 O you, who are full of false tricks and evil ways, a son of the Evil One, hating all righteousness, will you for ever be turning people from the right ways of the Lord?	Atti degli Apostoli 13:10 O pieno d’ogni frode e d’ogni furberia, figliuol del diavolo, nemico d’ogni giustizia, non cesserai tu di pervertir le diritte vie del Signore?
Acts 13:11 And now, see, the hand of the Lord is on you, and you will be blind and not able to see the sun for a time. And straight away a dark mist came down on him; and he went about looking for a guide.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:11 Ed ora, ecco, la mano del Signore è sopra te, e sarai cieco, senza vedere il sole, per un certo tempo. E in quel l’istante, caligine e tenebre caddero su lui; e andando qua e là cercava chi lo menasse per la mano.
Acts 13:12 Then the ruler, when he saw what was done, had faith, being full of wonder at the teaching of the Lord.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:12 Allora il proconsole, visto quel che era accaduto credette, essendo stupito della dottrina del Signore.
Acts 13:13 Then Paul and those who were with him went by ship from Paphos and came to Perga in Pamphylia: and there John went away from them and came back to Jerusalem.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:13 Or Paolo e i suoi compagni, imbarcatisi a Pafo, arrivarono a Perga di Panfilia; ma Giovanni, separatosi da loro, ritornò a Gerusalemme.
Acts 13:14 But they, going through from Perga, came to Antioch in Pisidia; and they went into the Synagogue on the Sabbath and were seated.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:14 Ed essi, passando oltre Perga, giunsero ad Antiochia di Pisidia; e recatisi il sabato nella sinagoga, si posero a sedere.
Acts 13:15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets, the rulers of the Synagogue sent to them, saying, Brothers, if you have a word of comfort for the people, say on.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:15 E dopo la lettura della legge e dei profeti, i capi della sinagoga mandarono a dir loro: Fratelli, se avete qualche parola d’esortazione da rivolgere al popolo, ditela.
Acts 13:16 And Paul, getting up and making a sign with his hand, said, Men of Israel, and you who have the fear of God, give ear.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:16 Allora Paolo, alzatosi, e fatto cenno con la mano, disse: Uomini israeliti, e voi che temete Iddio, udite.
Acts 13:17 The God of this people Israel made selection of our fathers, lifting the people up from their low condition when they were living in the land of Egypt, and with a strong arm took them out of it.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:17 L’Iddio di questo popolo d’Israele elesse i nostri padri, e fece grande il popolo durante la sua dimora nel paese di Egitto, e con braccio levato, ne lo trasse fuori.
Acts 13:18 And for about forty years he put up with their ways in the waste land.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:18 E per lo spazio di circa quarant’anni, sopportò i loro modi nel deserto.
Acts 13:19 And having put to destruction seven nations in the land of Canaan, he gave them the land for their heritage for about four hundred and fifty years.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:19 Poi, dopo aver distrutte sette nazioni nel paese di Canaan, distribuì loro come eredità il paese di quelle.
Acts 13:20 And after these things he gave them judges, till the time of Samuel the prophet.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:20 E dopo queste cose, per circa quattrocentocinquanta anni, diede loro de’ giudici fino al profeta Samuele.
Acts 13:21 Then at their request for a king, God gave them Saul, the son of Kish, a man of the family of Benjamin, who was their king for forty years.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:21 Dopo chiesero un re; e Dio diede loro Saul, figliuolo di Chis, della tribù di Beniamino, per lo spazio di quarant’anni.
Acts 13:22 And having put him on one side, he made David their king, to whom he gave witness, saying, I have taken David, the son of Jesse, a man dear to my heart, who will do all my pleasure.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:22 Poi, rimossolo, suscitò loro Davide per re, al quale rese anche questa testimonianza: Io ho trovato Davide, figliuolo di Iesse, un uomo secondo il mio cuore, che eseguirà ogni mio volere.
Acts 13:23 From this man's seed has God given to Israel a Saviour, even Jesus, as he gave his word;	Atti degli Apostoli 13:23 Dalla progenie di lui Iddio, secondo la sua promessa, ha suscitato a Israele un Salvatore nella persona di Gesù,
Acts 13:24 For whose coming John made ready the way by preaching to all the people of Israel the baptism which goes with a change of heart.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:24 avendo Giovanni, prima della venuta di lui, predicato il battesimo del ravvedimento a tutto il popolo d’Israele.
Acts 13:25 And when John was completing his work, he said, What do I seem to you to be? I am not he; but one is coming after me, whose shoes I am not good enough to undo. Io non sono il Messia; ma ecco, dietro a me viene uno, del quale io non son degno di sciogliere i calzari.
Acts 13:26 My brothers, children of the family of Abraham, and those among you who have the fear of God, to us the word of this salvation is sent.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:26 Fratelli miei, figliuoli della progenie d’Abramo, e voi tutti che temete Iddio, a noi è stata mandata la parola di questa salvezza.
Acts 13:27 For the men of Jerusalem and their rulers, having no knowledge of him, or of the sayings of the prophets which come to their ears every Sabbath day, gave effect to them by judging him.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:27 Poiché gli abitanti di Gerusalemme e i loro capi, avendo disconosciuto questo Gesù e le dichiarazioni de’ profeti che si leggono ogni sabato, le adempirono, condannandolo.
Acts 13:28 And though no cause of death was seen in him, they made a request to Pilate that he might be put to death.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:28 E benché non trovassero in lui nulla che fosse degno di morte, chiesero a Pilato che fosse fatto morire.
Acts 13:29 And when they had done all the things said in the Writings about him, they took him down from the tree, and put him in the place of the dead.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:29 E dopo ch’ebber compiute tutte le cose che erano scritte di lui, lo trassero giù dal legno, e lo posero in un sepolcro.
Acts 13:30 But God gave him back from the dead:	Atti degli Apostoli 13:30 Ma Iddio lo risuscitò dai morti;
Acts 13:31 And for a number of days he was seen by those who came with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses before the people.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:31 e per molti giorni egli si fece vedere da coloro ch’eran con lui saliti dalla Galilea a Gerusalemme, i quali sono ora suoi testimoni presso il popolo.
Acts 13:32 And we are giving you the good news of the undertaking made to the fathers,	Atti degli Apostoli 13:32 E noi vi rechiamo la buona novella che la promessa fatta ai padri,
Acts 13:33 Which God has now put into effect for our children, by sending Jesus; as it says in the second Psalm, You are my Son; this day I have given you being.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:33 Iddio l’ha adempiuta per noi, loro figliuoli, risuscitando Gesù, siccome anche è scritto nel salmo secondo: Tu sei il mio Figliuolo, oggi Io ti ho generato.
Acts 13:34 And about his coming back from the dead, never again to go to destruction, he has said these words, I will give you the holy and certain mercies of David.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:34 E siccome lo ha risuscitato dai morti per non tornar più nella corruzione, Egli ha detto così: Io vi manterrò le sacre e fedeli promesse fatte a Davide.
Acts 13:35 Because he says in another Psalm, You will not let your Holy One see destruction.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:35 Difatti egli dice anche in un altro luogo: Tu non permetterai che il tuo Santo vegga la corruzione.
Acts 13:36 Now David, having done God's work for his generation, went to sleep, and was put with his fathers, and his body came to destruction:	Atti degli Apostoli 13:36 Poiché Davide, dopo aver servito al consiglio di Dio nella sua generazione, si è addormentato, ed è stato riunito coi suoi padri, e ha veduto la corruzione;
Acts 13:37 But he, who was lifted up by God, did not see destruction.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:37 ma colui che Dio ha risuscitato, non ha veduto la corruzione.
Acts 13:38 And so, let it be clear to you, my brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is offered to you:	Atti degli Apostoli 13:38 Siavi dunque noto, fratelli, che per mezzo di lui v’è annunziata la remissione dei peccati;
Acts 13:39 And through him everyone who has faith is made free from all those things, from which the law of Moses was not able to make you free.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:39 e per mezzo di lui, chiunque crede è giustificato di tutte le cose, delle quali voi non avete potuto esser giustificati per la legge di Mosè.
Acts 13:40 So take care that these words of the prophets do not come true for you;	Atti degli Apostoli 13:40 Guardate dunque che non venga su voi quello che è detto nei profeti:
Acts 13:41 See, you doubters, have wonder and come to your end; for I will do a thing in your days to which you will not give belief, even if it is made clear to you.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:41 Vedete, o sprezzatori, e maravigliatevi, e dileguatevi, perché io fo un’opera ai dì vostri, un’opera che voi non credereste, se qualcuno ve la narrasse.
Acts 13:42 And when they went out, they made a request that these words might be said to them again on the Sabbath after.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:42 Or, mentre uscivano, furon pregati di parlar di quelle medesime cose al popolo il sabato seguente.
Acts 13:43 Now when the meeting was ended, a number of the Jews and of the God-fearing Gentiles who had become Jews, went after Paul and Barnabas: who put before them how important it was to keep on in the grace of God.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:43 E dopo che la raunanza si fu sciolta, molti de’ Giudei e de’ proseliti pii seguiron Paolo e Barnaba; i quali, parlando loro, li persuasero a perseverare nella grazia di Dio.
Acts 13:44 And on the Sabbath after, almost all the town came together to give hearing to the word of God.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:44 E il sabato seguente, quasi tutta la città si radunò per udir la parola di Dio.
Acts 13:45 But when the Jews saw such a great number of people, they were full of envy and said evil words against Paul's preaching.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:45 Ma i Giudei, vedendo le moltitudini, furon ripieni d’invidia, e bestemmiando contradicevano alle cose dette da Paolo.
Acts 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas without fear said, It was necessary for the word of God to be given to you first; but because you will have nothing to do with it, and have no desire for eternal life, it will now be offered to the Gentiles.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:46 Ma Paolo e Barnaba dissero loro francamente: Era necessario che a voi per i primi si annunziasse la parola di Dio; ma poiché la respingete e non vi giudicate degni della vita eterna, ecco, noi ci volgiamo ai Gentili.
Acts 13:47 For so the Lord has given us orders, saying, I have given you for a light to the Gentiles so that you may be for salvation to the ends of the earth.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:47 Perché così ci ha ordinato il Signore, dicendo: Io ti ho posto per esser luce de’ Gentili, affinché tu sia strumento di salvezza fino alle estremità della terra.
Acts 13:48 And the Gentiles, hearing this, were glad and gave glory to the word of God: and those marked out by God for eternal life had faith.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:48 E i Gentili, udendo queste cose, si rallegravano e glorificavano la parola di Dio; e tutti quelli che erano ordinati a vita eterna, credettero.
Acts 13:49 And the word of the Lord went through all the country.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:49 E la parola del Signore si spandeva per tutto il paese.
Acts 13:50 But the Jews, working up the feelings of the God-fearing women of high position and of the chief men of the town, got an attack started against Paul and Barnabas, driving them out of those parts.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:50 Ma i Giudei istigarono le donne pie e ragguardevoli e i principali uomini della città, e suscitarono una persecuzione contro Paolo e Barnaba, e li scacciarono dai loro confini.
Acts 13:51 But they, shaking off the dust of that place from their feet, came to Iconium.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:51 Ma essi, scossa la polvere de’ lor piedi contro loro, se ne vennero ad Iconio.
Acts 13:52 And the disciples were full of joy and of the Holy Spirit.	Atti degli Apostoli 13:52 E i discepoli eran pieni d’allegrezza e di Spirito Santo.
