Ezekiel 24:1 And the word of the Lord came to me in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, saying,	Ezechiele 24:1 E la parola dell’Eterno mi fu rivolta il nono anno, il decimo mese, il decimo giorno del mese, in questi termini:
Ezekiel 24:2 Son of man, put down in writing this very day: The king of Babylon let loose the weight of his attack against Jerusalem on this very day.	Ezechiele 24:2 "Figliuol d’uomo, scriviti la data di questo giorno, di quest’oggi! Oggi stesso, il re di Babilonia investe Gerusalemme.
Ezekiel 24:3 And make a comparison for this uncontrolled people, and say to them, This is what the Lord has said: Put on the cooking-pot, put it on the fire and put water in it:	Ezechiele 24:3 E proponi una parabola a questa casa ribelle, e di’ loro: Così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Metti, metti la pentola al fuoco, e versaci dentro dell’acqua;
Ezekiel 24:4 And get the bits together, the fat tail, every good part, the leg and the top part of it: make it full of the best bones.	Ezechiele 24:4 raccoglici dentro i pezzi di carne, tutti i buoni pezzi, coscia e spalla; riempila d’ossa scelte.
Ezekiel 24:5 Take the best of the flock, put much wood under it: see that its bits are boiling well; let the bones be cooked inside it.	Ezechiele 24:5 Prendi il meglio del gregge, ammonta sotto la pentola le legna per far bollire le ossa; falla bollire a gran bollore, affinché anche le ossa che ci son dentro, cuociano.
Ezekiel 24:6 For this is what the Lord has said: A curse is on the town of blood, the cooking-pot which is unclean inside, which has never been made clean! take out its bits; its fate is still to come on it.	Ezechiele 24:6 Perciò, così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Guai alla città sanguinaria, pentola piena di verderame, il cui verderame non si stacca! Vuotala de’ pezzi, uno a uno, senza tirare a sorte!
Ezekiel 24:7 For her blood is in her; she has put it on the open rock not draining it on to the earth so that it might be covered with dust;	Ezechiele 24:7 Poiché il sangue che ha versato è in mezzo a lei; essa lo ha posto sulla roccia nuda; non l’ha sparso in terra, per coprirlo di polvere.
Ezekiel 24:8 In order that it might make wrath come up to give punishment, she has put her blood on the open rock, so that it may not be covered.	Ezechiele 24:8 Per eccitare il furore, per farne vendetta, ho fatto mettere quel sangue sulla roccia nuda, perché non fosse coperto.
Ezekiel 24:9 For this cause the Lord has said: A curse is on the town of blood! and I will make great the burning mass.	Ezechiele 24:9 Perciò, così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Guai alla città sanguinaria! Anch’io voglio fare un gran fuoco!
Ezekiel 24:10 Put on much wood, heating up the fire, boiling the flesh well, and making the soup thick, and let the bones be burned.	Ezechiele 24:10 Ammonta le legna, fa’ levar la fiamma, fa’ cuocer bene la carne, fa’ struggere il grasso, e fa’ che le ossa si consumino!
Ezekiel 24:11 And I will put her on the coals so that she may be heated and her brass burned, so that what is unclean in her may become soft and her waste be completely taken away.	Ezechiele 24:11 Poi metti la pentola vuota sui carboni perché si riscaldi e il suo rame diventi rovente, affinché la sua impurità si strugga in mezzo ad essa, e il suo verderame sia consumato.
Ezekiel 24:12 I have made myself tired to no purpose: still all the waste which is in her has not come out, it has an evil smell.	Ezechiele 24:12 Ogni sforzo è inutile; il suo abbondante verderame non si stacca; il suo verderame non se n’andrà che mediante il fuoco.
Ezekiel 24:13 As for your unclean purpose: because I have been attempting to make you clean, but you have not been made clean from it, you will not be made clean till I have let loose my passion on you in full measure.	Ezechiele 24:13 V’è della scelleratezza nella tua impurità; poiché io t’ho voluto purificare e tu non sei diventata pura; non sarai più purificata dalla tua impurità, finché io non abbia sfogato su di te il mio furore.
Ezekiel 24:14 I the Lord have said the word and I will do it; I will not go back or have mercy, and my purpose will not be changed; in the measure of your ways and of your evil doings you will be judged, says the Lord.	Ezechiele 24:14 Io, l’Eterno, son quegli che ho parlato; la cosa avverrà, io la compirò; non indietreggerò, non avrò pietà, non mi pentirò; tu sarai giudicata secondo la tua condotta, secondo le tue azioni, dice il Signore, l’Eterno".
Ezekiel 24:15 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,	Ezechiele 24:15 E la parola dell’Eterno mi fu rivolta in questi termini:
Ezekiel 24:16 Son of man, see, I am taking away the desire of your eyes by disease: but let there be no sorrow or weeping or drops running from your eyes.	Ezechiele 24:16 "Figliuol d’uomo, ecco, come un colpo improvviso io ti tolgo la delizia dei tuoi occhi; e tu non far cordoglio, non piangere, non spander lacrime.
Ezekiel 24:17 Let there be no sound of sorrow; make no weeping for your dead, put on your head-dress and your shoes on your feet, let not your lips be covered, and do not take the food of those in grief.	Ezechiele 24:17 Sospira in silenzio; non portar lutto per i morti, cingiti il capo col turbante, mettiti i calzari ai piedi, non ti coprire la barba, non mangiare il pane che la gente ti manda".
Ezekiel 24:18 So in the morning I was teaching the people and in the evening death took my wife; and in the morning I did what I had been ordered to do.	Ezechiele 24:18 La mattina parlai al popolo, e la sera mi morì la moglie; e la mattina dopo feci come mi era stato comandato.
Ezekiel 24:19 And the people said to me, Will you not make clear to us the sense of these things; is it for us you do them?	Ezechiele 24:19 E il popolo mi disse: "Non ci spiegherai tu che cosa significhi quello che fai?"
Ezekiel 24:20 Then I said to them, The word of the Lord came to me, saying,	Ezechiele 24:20 E io risposi loro: "La parola dell’Eterno mi è stata rivolta, in questi termini:
Ezekiel 24:21 Say to the people of Israel, The Lord has said, See, I will make my holy place unclean, the pride of your strength, the pleasure of your eyes, and the desire of your soul; and your sons and daughters, who did not come with you here, will be put to the sword.	Ezechiele 24:21 Di’ alla casa d’Israele: Così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Ecco, io profanerò il mio santuario, l’orgoglio della vostra forza, la delizia degli occhi vostri, il desìo dell’anima vostra; e i vostri figliuoli e le vostre figliuole che avete lasciati a Gerusalemme, cadranno per la spada.
Ezekiel 24:22 And you will do as I have done, not covering your lips or taking the food of those in grief.	Ezechiele 24:22 E voi farete come ho fatto io: non vi coprirete la barba e non mangerete il pane che la gente vi manda;
Ezekiel 24:23 And your head-dresses will be on your heads and your shoes on your feet: there will be no sorrow or weeping; but you will be wasting away in the punishment of your evil-doing, and you will be looking at one another in wonder.	Ezechiele 24:23 avrete i vostri turbanti in capo, e i vostri calzari ai piedi; non farete cordoglio e non piangerete, ma vi consumerete di languore per le vostre iniquità, e gemerete l’uno con l’altro.
Ezekiel 24:24 And Ezekiel will be a sign to you; everything he has done you will do: when this takes place, you will be certain that I am the Lord.	Ezechiele 24:24 Ed Ezechiele sarà per voi un simbolo; tutto quello che fa lui, lo farete voi; e, quando queste cose accadranno, voi conoscerete che io sono il Signore, l’Eterno.
Ezekiel 24:25 And as for you, son of man, your mouth will be shut in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that on which their hearts are fixed, and their sons and daughters.	Ezechiele 24:25 E tu, figliuol d’uomo, il giorno ch’io torrò loro ciò che fa la loro forza, la gioia della loro gloria, il desìo de’ loro occhi, la brama dell’anima loro, i loro figliuoli e le loro figliuole,
Ezekiel 24:26 In that day, one who has got away safe will come to you to give you news of it.	Ezechiele 24:26 in quel giorno un fuggiasco verrà da te a recartene la notizia.
Ezekiel 24:27 In that day your mouth will be open to him who has got away safe, and you will say words to him and your lips will no longer be shut: so you will be a sign to them and they will be certain that I am the Lord.	Ezechiele 24:27 In quel giorno la tua bocca s’aprirà, all’arrivo del fuggiasco; e tu parlerai, non sarai più muto, e sarai per loro un simbolo; ed essi conosceranno che io sono l’Eterno".
