Genesis 14:1 Now in the days of Amraphel, king of Shinar, Arioch, king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer, king of Elam, and Tidal, king of Goiim,	Genesi 14:1 Or avvenne, al tempo di Amrafel re di Scinear, d’Arioc re di Ellasar, di Kedorlaomer re di Elam, e di Tideal re dei Goim,
Genesis 14:2 They made war with Bera, king of Sodom, and with Birsha, king of Gomorrah, Shinab, king of Admah, and Shemeber, king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (which is Zoar).	Genesi 14:2 ch’essi mossero guerra a Bera re di Sodoma, a Birsha re di Gomorra, a Scinear re di Adma, a Scemeber re di Tseboim e al re di Bela, che è Tsoar.

Genesis 14:10 Now the valley of Siddim was full of holes of sticky earth; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah were put to flight and came to their end there, but the rest got away to the mountain. Genesis 14:13 And one who had got away from the fight came and gave word of it to Abram the Hebrew, who was living by the holy tree of Mamre, the Amorite, the brother of Eshcol and Aner, who were friends of Abram. Genesis 14:14 And Abram, hearing that his brother's son had been made a prisoner, took a band of his trained men, three hundred and eighteen of them, sons of his house, and went after them as far as Dan. Genesis 14:15 And separating his forces by night, he overcame them, putting them to flight and going after them as far as Hobah, which is on the north side of Damascus.	Genesi 14:15 E, divisa la sua schiera per assalirli di notte, egli coi suoi servi li sconfisse e l’inseguì fino a Hobah, che è a sinistra di Damasco.
Genesis 14:16 And he got back all the goods, and Lot, his brother's son, with his goods and the women and the people.	Genesi 14:16 E ricuperò tutta la roba, e rimenò pure Lot suo fratello, la sua roba, e anche le donne e il popolo.
Genesis 14:17 And when he was coming back after putting to flight Chedorlaomer and the other kings, he had a meeting with the king of Sodom in the valley of Shaveh, that is, the King's Valley.	Genesi 14:17 E com’egli se ne tornava dalla sconfitta di Kedorlaomer e dei re ch’eran con lui, il re di Sodoma gli andò incontro nella valle di Shaveh, che è la Valle del re.
Genesis 14:18 And Melchizedek, king of Salem, the priest of the Most High God, took bread and wine,	Genesi 14:18 E Melchisedec, re di Salem, fece portar del pane e del vino. Egli era sacerdote dell’Iddio altissimo.
Genesis 14:19 And blessing him, said, May the blessing of the Most High God, maker of heaven and earth, be on Abram:	Genesi 14:19 Ed egli benedisse Abramo, dicendo: "Benedetto sia Abramo dall’Iddio altissimo, padrone de’ cieli e della terra!
Genesis 14:20 And let the Most High God be praised, who has given into your hands those who were against you. Then Abram gave him a tenth of all the goods he had taken.	Genesi 14:20 E benedetto sia l’Iddio altissimo, che t’ha dato in mano i tuoi nemici!" E Abramo gli diede la decima d’ogni cosa.
Genesis 14:21 And the king of Sodom said to Abram, Give me the prisoners and take the goods for yourself.	Genesi 14:21 E il re di Sodoma disse ad Abramo: "Dammi le persone, e prendi per te la roba".
Genesis 14:22 But Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have taken an oath to the Lord, the Most High God, maker of heaven and earth,	Genesi 14:22 Ma Abramo rispose al re di Sodoma: "Ho alzato la mia mano all’Eterno, l’Iddio altissimo, padrone dei cieli e della terra,
Genesis 14:23 That I will not take so much as a thread or the cord of a shoe of yours; so that you may not say, I have given wealth to Abram:	Genesi 14:23 giurando che non prenderei neppure un filo, né un laccio di sandalo, di tutto ciò che t’appartiene; perché tu non abbia a dire: Io ho arricchito Abramo.
Genesis 14:24 Give me nothing but the food which the fighting-men who went with me have had; but let Aner and Eshcol and Mamre have their part of the goods.	Genesi 14:24 Nulla per me! tranne quello che hanno mangiato i giovani, e la parte che spetta agli uomini che son venuti meco: Aner, Eshcol e Mamre; essi prendano la loro parte".
