Hosea 14	Osea 14
Hosea 14:1 O Israel, come back to the Lord your God; for your evil-doing has been the cause of your fall.	Osea 14:1 O Israele, torna all’Eterno, al tuo Dio! poiché tu sei caduto per la tua iniquità.
Hosea 14:2 Take with you words, and come back to the Lord; say to him, Let there be forgiveness for all wrongdoing, so that we may take what is good, and give in payment the fruit of our lips.	Osea 14:2 Prendete con voi delle parole, e tornate all’Eterno! Ditegli: "Perdona tutta l’iniquità, e accetta questo bene; e noi t’offriremo, invece di giovenchi, l’offerta di lode delle nostre labbra.
Hosea 14:3 Assyria will not be our salvation; we will not go on horses; we will not again say to the work of our hands, You are our gods; for in you there is mercy for the child who has no father.	Osea 14:3 L’Assiria non ci salverà, noi non monteremo più su cavalli, e non diremo più Dio nostro all’opera delle nostre mani; poiché presso di te l’orfano trova misericordia".
Hosea 14:4 I will put right their errors; freely will my love be given to them, for my wrath is turned away from him.	Osea 14:4 Io guarirò la loro infedeltà, io li amerò di cuore, poiché la mia ira s’è stornata da loro.
Hosea 14:5 I will be as the dew to Israel; he will put out flowers like a lily, and send out his roots like Lebanon.	Osea 14:5 Io sarò per Israele come la rugiada; egli fiorirà come il giglio, e spanderà le sue radici come il Libano.
Hosea 14:6 His branches will be stretched out, he will be beautiful as the olive-tree and sweet-smelling as Lebanon.	Osea 14:6 I suoi rami si stenderanno; la sua bellezza sarà come quella dell’ulivo, e la sua fragranza, come quella del Libano.
Hosea 14:7 They will come back and have rest in his shade; their life will be made new like the grain, and they will put out flowers like the vine; his name will be like the wine of Lebanon.	Osea 14:7 Quelli che abiteranno alla sua ombra faranno di nuovo crescere il grano, e fioriranno come la vite; saranno famosi come il vino del Libano.
Hosea 14:8 As for Ephraim, what has he to do with false gods any longer? I have given an answer and I will keep watch over him; I am like a branching fir-tree, from me comes your fruit.	Osea 14:8 Efraim potrà dire: "Che cosa ho io più da fare con gl’idoli?" Io lo esaudirò, e veglierò su lui; io, che sono come un verdeggiante cipresso; da me verrà il tuo frutto.
Hosea 14:9 He who is wise will see these things; he who has good sense will have knowledge of them. For the ways of the Lord are straight, and the upright will go in them, but sinners will be falling in them.	Osea 14:9 Chi è savio ponga mente a queste parole! Chi è intelligente le riconosca! Poiché le vie dell’Eterno sono rette; i giusti cammineranno per esse, ma i trasgressori vi cadranno.
