Isaiah 11	Isaia 11
Isaiah 11:1 And there will come a rod out of the broken tree of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will give fruit.	Isaia 11:1 Poi un ramo uscirà dal tronco d’Isai, e un rampollo spunterà dalle sue radici.
Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the Lord will be resting on him, the spirit of wisdom and good sense, the spirit of wise guiding and strength, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;	Isaia 11:2 Lo spirito dell’Eterno riposerà su lui: spirito di sapienza e di intelligenza, spirito di consiglio e di forza, spirito di conoscenza e di timor dell’Eterno.
Isaiah 11:3 And he will not be guided in his judging by what he sees, or give decisions by the hearing of his ears:	Isaia 11:3 Respirerà come profumo il timor dell’Eterno, non giudicherà dall’apparenza, non darà sentenze stando al sentito dire,
Isaiah 11:4 But he will do right in the cause of the poor, and give wise decisions for those in the land who are in need; and the rod of his mouth will come down on the cruel, and with the breath of his lips he will put an end to the evil-doer.	Isaia 11:4 ma giudicherà i poveri con giustizia, farà ragione con equità agli umili del paese. Colpirà il paese con la verga della sua bocca, e col soffio delle sue labbra farà morir l’empio.
Isaiah 11:5 And righteousness will be the cord of his robe, and good faith the band round his breast.	Isaia 11:5 La giustizia sarà la cintura delle sue reni, e la fedeltà la cintura dei suoi fianchi.
Isaiah 11:6 And the wolf will be living with the lamb, and the leopard will take his rest with the young goat; and the lion will take grass for food like the ox; and the young lion will go with the young ones of the herd; and a little child will be their guide.	Isaia 11:6 Il lupo abiterà con l’agnello, e il leopardo giacerà col capretto, il vitello, il giovin leone e il bestiame ingrassato staranno assieme, e un bambino li condurrà.
Isaiah 11:7 And the cow and the bear will be friends while their young ones are sleeping together.	Isaia 11:7 La vacca pascolerà con l’orsa, i loro piccini giaceranno assieme, e il leone mangerà lo strame come il bue.
Isaiah 11:8 And the child at the breast will be playing by the hole of the snake, and the older child will put his hand on the bright eye of the poison-snake.	Isaia 11:8 Il lattante si trastullerà sul buco dell’aspide, e il divezzato stenderà la mano sul covo del basilisco.
Isaiah 11:9 There will be no cause of pain or destruction in all my holy mountain: for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the sea is covered by the waters.	Isaia 11:9 Non si farà né male né guasto su tutto il mio monte santo, poiché la terra sarà ripiena della conoscenza dell’Eterno, come il fondo del mare dall’acque che lo coprono.
Isaiah 11:10 And in that day, the eyes of the nations will be turned to the root of Jesse which will be lifted up as the flag of the peoples; and his resting-place will be glory.	Isaia 11:10 In quel giorno, verso la radice d’Isai, issata come il vessillo de’ popoli, si volgeranno premurose le nazioni, e il luogo del suo riposo sarà glorioso.
Isaiah 11:11 And in that day the hand of the Lord will be stretched out the second time to get back the rest of his people, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the sea-lands.	Isaia 11:11 In quel giorno, il Signore stenderà una seconda volta la mano per riscattare il residuo del suo popolo rimasto in Assiria e in Egitto, a Pathros e in Etiopia, ad Elam, a Scinear ed a Hamath, e nelle isole del mare.
Isaiah 11:12 And he will put up a flag as a sign to the nations, and he will get together those of Israel who had been sent away, and the wandering ones of Judah, from the four ends of the earth.	Isaia 11:12 Egli alzerà un vessillo verso le nazioni, raccoglierà gli esuli d’Israele e radunerà i dispersi di Giuda dai quattro canti della terra.
Isaiah 11:13 And the envy of Ephraim will be gone, and those who make trouble for Judah will come to an end: Ephraim will have no more envy of Judah, and there will be an end of Judah's hate for Ephraim.	Isaia 11:13 La gelosia d’Efraim scomparirà, e gli avversari di Giuda saranno annientati; Efraim non invidierà più Giuda, e Giuda non sarà più ostile ad Efraim.
Isaiah 11:14 And they will be united in attacking the Philistines on the west, and together they will take the goods of the children of the east: their hand will be on Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon will be under their rule.	Isaia 11:14 Essi piomberanno a volo sulle spalle de’ Filistei ad occidente, insieme prederanno i figliuoli dell’oriente; metteran le mani addosso a Edom ed a Moab, e i figliuoli d’Ammon saran loro sudditi.
Isaiah 11:15 And the Lord will make the tongue of the Egyptian sea completely dry; and with his burning wind his hand will be stretched out over the River, and it will be parted into seven streams, so that men may go over it with dry feet.	Isaia 11:15 L’Eterno metterà interamente a secco la lingua del mar dell’Egitto, scuoterà minacciosamente la mano sul fiume, e col suo soffio impetuoso, lo spartirà in sette canali, e farà si che lo si passi coi sandali.
Isaiah 11:16 And there will be a highway for the rest of his people from Assyria; as there was for Israel in the day when he came up out of the land of Egypt.	Isaia 11:16 E ci farà una strada per il residuo del suo popolo rimasto in Assiria, come ve ne fu una per Israele il giorno che uscì dal paese d’Egitto.
