Isaiah 2	Isaia 2
Isaiah 2:1 The word which Isaiah, the son of Amoz, saw about Judah and Jerusalem.	Isaia 2:1 Parola che Isaia, figliuolo d’Amots, ebbe in visione, relativamente a Giuda e a Gerusalemme.
Isaiah 2:2 And it will come about in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord will be placed on the top of the mountains, and be lifted up over the hills; and all nations will come to it.	Isaia 2:2 Avverrà, negli ultimi giorni, che il monte della casa dell’Eterno si ergerà sulla vetta dei monti, e sarà elevato al disopra dei colli; e tutte le nazioni affluiranno ad esso.
Isaiah 2:3 And the peoples will say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob: and he will give us knowledge of his ways, and we will be guided by his word; for out of Zion the law will go out, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.	Isaia 2:3 Molti popoli v’accorreranno, e diranno: "Venite, saliamo al monte dell’Eterno, alla casa dell’Iddio di Giacobbe; egli ci ammaestrerà intorno alle sue vie, e noi cammineremo per i suoi sentieri". Poiché da Sion uscirà la legge, e da Gerusalemme la parola dell’Eterno.
Isaiah 2:4 And he will be the judge between the nations, and the peoples will be ruled by his decisions: and their swords will be turned into plough-blades, and their spears into vine-knives: no longer will the nations be turning their swords against one another, and the knowledge of war will be gone for ever.	Isaia 2:4 Egli giudicherà tra nazione e nazione e sarà l’arbitro fra molti popoli; ed essi delle loro spade fabbricheranno vomeri d’aratro, e delle loro lance, roncole; una nazione non leverà più la spada contro un’altra, e non impareranno più la guerra.
Isaiah 2:5 O family of Jacob, come, and let us go in the light of the Lord.	Isaia 2:5 O casa di Giacobbe, venite e camminiamo alla luce dell’Eterno!
Isaiah 2:6 For you, O Lord, have given up your people, the family of Jacob, because they are full of the evil ways of the east, and make use of secret arts like the Philistines, and are friends with the children of strange countries.	Isaia 2:6 Poiché tu, o Eterno, hai abbandonato il tuo popolo, la casa di Giacobbe, perché son pieni di pratiche orientali, praticano le arti occulte come i Filistei, fanno alleanza coi figli degli stranieri.
Isaiah 2:7 And their land is full of silver and gold, and there is no end to their stores; their land is full of horses, and there is no end to their carriages.	Isaia 2:7 Il loro paese è pieno d’argento e d’oro, e hanno tesori senza fine; il loro paese è pieno di cavalli, e hanno carri senza fine.
Isaiah 2:8 Their land is full of images; they give worship to the work of their hands, even to that which their fingers have made.	Isaia 2:8 Il loro paese è pieno d’idoli; si prostrano dinanzi all’opera delle loro mani, dinanzi a ciò che le lor dita han fatto.
Isaiah 2:9 And the poor man's head is bent, and the great man goes down on his face: for this cause there will be no forgiveness for their sin.	Isaia 2:9 Perciò l’uomo del volgo è umiliato, e i grandi sono abbassati, e tu non li perdoni.
Isaiah 2:10 Go into a hole in the rock, covering yourselves with dust, in fear of the Lord, before the glory of his power.	Isaia 2:10 Entra nella roccia, e nasconditi nella polvere per sottrarti al terrore dell’Eterno e allo splendore della sua maestà.
Isaiah 2:11 The high looks of man will be put to shame, and the pride of men will be made low, and only the Lord will be lifted up in that day.	Isaia 2:11 Lo sguardo altero dell’uomo del volgo sarà abbassato, e l’orgoglio de’ grandi sarà umiliato; l’Eterno solo sarà esaltato in quel giorno.
Isaiah 2:12 For the day of the Lord of armies is coming on all the pride of men, and on all who are high and lifted up;	Isaia 2:12 Poiché l’Eterno degli eserciti ha un giorno contro tutto ciò ch’è orgoglioso ed altero, e contro chiunque s’innalza, per abbassarlo;
Isaiah 2:13 And on all the high trees of Lebanon, and on all the strong trees of Bashan;	Isaia 2:13 contro tutti i cedri del Libano, alti, elevati, e contro tutte le querce di Basan;
Isaiah 2:14 And on all the high mountains, and on all the hills which are lifted up;	Isaia 2:14 e contro tutti i monti alti, e contro tutti i colli elevati;
Isaiah 2:15 And on every high tower, and on every strong wall;	Isaia 2:15 contro ogni torre eccelsa, e contro ogni muro fortificato;
Isaiah 2:16 And on all the ships of Tarshish, and on all the fair boats.	Isaia 2:16 contro tutte le navi di Tarsis, e contro tutto ciò che piace allo sguardo.
Isaiah 2:17 And the high looks of man will be put to shame, and the pride of men will be made low: and only the Lord will be lifted up in that day.	Isaia 2:17 L’alterigia dell’uomo del volgo sarà abbassata, e l’orgoglio de’ grandi sarà umiliato; l’Eterno solo sarà esaltato in quel giorno.
Isaiah 2:18 And the images will never be seen again.	Isaia 2:18 Gl’idoli scompariranno del tutto.
Isaiah 2:19 And men will go into cracks of the rocks, and into holes of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and before the glory of his power, when he comes out of his place, shaking the earth with his strength.	Isaia 2:19 Gli uomini entreranno nelle caverne delle rocce e negli antri della terra per sottrarsi al terrore dell’Eterno e allo splendore della sua maestà, quand’ei si leverà per far tremare la terra.
Isaiah 2:20 In that day men will put their images of silver and of gold, which they made for worship, in the keeping of the beasts of the dark places;	Isaia 2:20 In quel giorno, gli uomini getteranno ai topi ed ai pipistrelli gl’idoli d’argento e gl’idoli d’oro, che s’eran fatti per adorarli;
Isaiah 2:21 To take cover in the cracks of the rocks, and in the holes of the hills, for fear of the Lord, and before the glory of his power, when he comes out of his place, shaking the earth with his strength.	Isaia 2:21 ed entreranno nelle fessure delle rocce e nei crepacci delle rupi per sottrarsi al terrore dell’Eterno e allo splendore della sua maestà, quand’ei si leverà per far tremare la terra.
Isaiah 2:22 Have no more to do with man, whose life is only a breath, for he is of no value.	Isaia 2:22 Cessate di confidarvi nell’uomo, nelle cui narici non è che un soffio; poiché qual caso se ne può fare?
