Isaiah 41:1 Come quietly before me, O sea-lands, and let the peoples get together their strength: let them come near; then let them say what they have to say: let us put forward our cause against one another.	Isaia 41:1 Isole, fate silenzio dinanzi a me! Riprendano nuove forze i popoli, s’accostino, e poi parlino! Veniamo assieme in giudizio!
Isaiah 41:2 Who sent out from the east one who is right wherever he goes? he gives the nations into his hands, and makes him ruler over kings; he gives them as the dust to his sword, as dry stems before the wind to his bow.	Isaia 41:2 Chi ha suscitato dall’oriente colui che la giustizia chiama sui suoi passi? Egli dà in balìa di lui le nazioni, e lo fa dominare sui re; egli riduce la loro spada in polvere, e il loro arco come pula portata via dal vento.
Isaiah 41:3 He goes after them safely, not touching the road with his feet.	Isaia 41:3 Ei li insegue, e passa in trionfo per una via che i suoi piedi non hanno mai calcato.
Isaiah 41:4 Whose purpose and work was it? His who sent out the generations from the start. I the Lord, the first, and with the last, I am he.	Isaia 41:4 Chi ha operato, chi ha fatto questo? Colui che fin dal principio ha chiamato le generazioni alla vita; io, l’Eterno, che sono il primo, e che sarò cogli ultimi sempre lo stesso.
Isaiah 41:5 The sea-lands saw it, and were in fear; the ends of the earth were shaking: they came near.	Isaia 41:5 Le isole lo vedono, e son prese da paura; le estremità della terra tremano. Essi s’avvicinano, arrivano!
Isaiah 41:6 They gave help everyone to his neighbour; and everyone said to his brother, Take heart!	Isaia 41:6 S’aiutano a vicenda; ognuno dice al suo fratello: "Coraggio!"
Isaiah 41:7 So the metal-worker put heart into the gold-worker, and he who was hammering the metal smooth said kind words to the iron-worker, saying of the plate, It is ready: and he put it together with nails, so that there might be no slipping.	Isaia 41:7 Il fabbro incoraggia l’orafo; il battiloro incoraggia colui che batte l’incudine, e dice della saldatura: "E’ buona!" e fissa l’idolo con de’ chiodi, perché non si smova.
Isaiah 41:8 But as for you, Israel, my servant, and you, Jacob, whom I have taken for myself, the seed of Abraham my friend:	Isaia 41:8 Ma tu, Israele, mio servo, Giacobbe che io ho scelto, progenie d’Abrahamo, l’amico mio,
Isaiah 41:9 You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and sent for from its farthest parts, saying to you, You are my servant, whom I have taken for myself, and whom I have not given up:	Isaia 41:9 tu che ho preso dalle estremità della terra, che ho chiamato dalle parti più remote d’essa, e a cui ho detto: "Tu sei il mio servo; t’ho scelto e non t’ho reietto",
Isaiah 41:10 Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be looking about in trouble, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper; yes, my true right hand will be your support.	Isaia 41:10 tu, non temere, perché io son teco; non ti smarrire, perché io sono il tuo Dio; io ti fortifico, io ti soccorro, io ti sostengo con la destra della mia giustizia.
Isaiah 41:11 Truly, all those who are angry with you will be made low and put to shame: those desiring to do you wrong will come to nothing and never again be seen.	Isaia 41:11 Ecco, tutti quelli che si sono infiammati contro di te saranno svergognati e confusi; i tuoi avversari saranno ridotti a nulla, e periranno.
Isaiah 41:12 You will make search for your haters but they will not be there; those who make war against you will be as nothing and will come to destruction.	Isaia 41:12 Tu li cercherai, e non li troverai più quelli che contendevano teco; quelli che ti facevano guerra saranno ridotti come nulla, come cosa che più non è;
Isaiah 41:13 For I, the Lord your God, have taken your right hand in mine, saying to you, Have no fear; I will be your helper.	Isaia 41:13 perché io, l’Eterno, il tuo Dio, son quegli che ti prendo per la mia man destra e ti dico: "Non temere, io t’aiuto!"
Isaiah 41:14 Have no fear, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel; I will be your helper, says the Lord, even he who takes up your cause, the Holy One of Israel.	Isaia 41:14 Non temere, o Giacobbe che sei come un verme, o residuo d’Israele! Son io che t’aiuto, dice l’Eterno; e il tuo redentore è il Santo d’Israele.
Isaiah 41:15 See, I will make you like a new grain-crushing instrument with teeth, crushing the mountains small, and making the hills like dry stems.	Isaia 41:15 Ecco, io faccio di te un erpice nuovo dai denti aguzzi; tu trebbierai i monti e li ridurrai in polvere, e renderai le colline simili alla pula.
Isaiah 41:16 You will send the wind over them, and it will take them away; they will go in all directions before the storm-wind: you will have joy in the Lord, and be glad in the Holy One of Israel.	Isaia 41:16 Tu li ventilerai, e il vento li porterà via, e il turbine li disperderà; ma tu giubilerai nell’Eterno, e ti glorierai nel Santo d’Israele.
Isaiah 41:17 The poor and crushed are looking for water where no water is, and their tongue is dry for need of it: I the Lord will give ear to their prayer, I the God of Israel will not give them up.	Isaia 41:17 I miseri e poveri cercano acqua, e non v’è né; la loro lingua è secca dalla sete; io, l’Eterno, li esaudirò; io l’Iddio d’Israele, non li abbandonerò.
Isaiah 41:18 I will make rivers on the dry mountain-tops, and fountains in the valleys: I will make the waste land a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.	Isaia 41:18 Io farò scaturir de’ fiumi sulle nude alture, e delle fonti in mezzo alle valli; farò del deserto uno stagno d’acqua, e della terra arida una terra di sorgenti;
Isaiah 41:19 I will put in the waste land the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive-tree; and in the lowland will be planted the fir-tree, the plane, and the cypress together:	Isaia 41:19 pianterò nel deserto il cedro, l’acacia, il mirto, l’albero da olio; metterò ne’ luoghi sterili il cipresso, il platano ed il larice tutti assieme,
Isaiah 41:20 So that they may see and be wise and give their mind to it, and that it may be clear to them all that the hand of the Lord has done this, and that the Holy One of Israel has made it.	Isaia 41:20 affinché quelli veggano, sappiano, considerino e capiscano tutti quanti che la mano dell’Eterno ha operato questo, e che il santo d’Israele n’è il creatore.
Isaiah 41:21 Put forward your cause, says the Lord; let your strong argument come out, says the King of Jacob.	Isaia 41:21 Presentate la vostra causa, dice l’Eterno, esponete le vostre ragioni, dice il Re di Giacobbe.
Isaiah 41:22 Let the future be made clear to us: give us news of the past things, so that we may give thought to them; or of the things to come, so that we may see if they are true.	Isaia 41:22 Le espongan essi, e ci dichiarino quel che dovrà avvenire. Le vostre predizioni di prima quali sono? Ditecele, perché possiam porvi mente, e riconoscerne il compimento; ovvero fateci udire le cose avvenire.
Isaiah 41:23 Give us word of what will be after this, so that we may be certain that you are gods: yes, do good or do evil, so that we may all see it and be surprised.	Isaia 41:23 Annunziateci quel che succederà più tardi, e sapremo che siete degli dèi; si, fate del bene o del male onde noi lo veggiamo, e lo consideriamo assieme.
Isaiah 41:24 But you are nothing, and your work is of no value: foolish is he who takes you for his gods.	Isaia 41:24 Ecco, voi siete niente, e l’opera vostra è da nulla: E’ un abominio lo sceglier voi!
Isaiah 41:25 I have sent for one from the north, and from the dawn he has come; in my name he will get rulers together and go against them; they will be like dust, even as the wet earth is stamped on by the feet of the potter.	Isaia 41:25 Io l’ho suscitato dal settentrione, ed egli viene; dall’oriente, ed egli invoca il mio nome; egli calpesta i principi come fango, come il vasaio che calca l’argilla.
Isaiah 41:26 Who has given knowledge of it from the first, so that we may be certain of it? and from the start, so that we may say, His word is true? There is no one who gives news, or says anything, or who gives ear to your words.	Isaia 41:26 Chi ha annunziato questo fin dal principio perché lo sapessimo? e molto prima perché dicessimo: "E’ vero?" Nessuno l’ha annunziato, nessuno l’ha predetto, e nessuno ha udito i vostri discorsi.
Isaiah 41:27 I was the first to give word of it to Zion, and I gave the good news to Jerusalem.	Isaia 41:27 Io pel primo ho detto a Sion: "Guardate, eccoli!" e a Gerusalemme ho inviato un messo di buone novelle.
Isaiah 41:28 And I saw that there was no man, even no wise man among them, who might give an answer to my questions.	Isaia 41:28 E guardo… e non v’è alcuno, non v’è tra loro alcuno che sappia dare un consiglio, e che, s’io l’interrogo, possa darmi risposta.
Isaiah 41:29 Truly they are all nothing, their works are nothing and of no value: their metal images are of no more use than wind.	Isaia 41:29 Ecco, tutti quanti costoro non sono che vanità; le loro opere sono nulla, e i loro idoli non sono che vento e cose da niente.
