Job 34	Giobbe 34
Job 34:1 And Elihu made answer and said,	Giobbe 34:1 Elihu riprese a parlare e disse:
Job 34:2 Give ear, you wise, to my words; and you who have knowledge, give attention to me;	Giobbe 34:2 "O voi savi, ascoltate le mie parole! Voi che siete intelligenti, prestatemi orecchio!
Job 34:3 For words are tested by the ear, as food is tasted by the mouth.	Giobbe 34:3 Poiché l’orecchio giudica dei discorsi, come il palato assapora le vivande.
Job 34:4 Let us make the decision for ourselves as to what is right; let us have the knowledge among ourselves of what is good.	Giobbe 34:4 Scegliamo quello ch’è giusto, riconosciamo fra noi quello ch’è buono.
Job 34:5 For Job has said, I am upright, and it is God who has taken away my right;	Giobbe 34:5 Giobbe ha detto: "Sono giusto, ma Dio mi nega giustizia;
Job 34:6 Though I am right, still I am in pain; my wound may not be made well, though I have done no wrong.	Giobbe 34:6 ho ragione, e passo da bugiardo; la mia ferita è incurabile, e sono senza peccato".
Job 34:7 What man is like Job, a man who freely makes sport of God,	Giobbe 34:7 Dov’è l’uomo che al par di Giobbe tracanni gli empi scherni come l’acqua,
Job 34:8 And goes in the company of evil-doers, walking in the way of sinners?	Giobbe 34:8 cammini in compagnia de’ malfattori, e vada assieme con gli scellerati?
Job 34:9 For he has said, It is no profit to a man to take delight in God.	Giobbe 34:9 Poiché ha detto: "Non giova nulla all’uomo l’avere il suo diletto in Dio".
Job 34:10 Now then, you wise, take note; you men of knowledge, give ear to me. Let it be far from God to do evil, and from the Ruler of all to do wrong.	Giobbe 34:10 Ascoltatemi dunque, o uomini di senno! Lungi da Dio il male, lungi dall’Onnipotente l’iniquità!
Job 34:11 For he gives to every man the reward of his work, and sees that he gets the fruit of his ways.	Giobbe 34:11 Poich’egli rende all’uomo secondo le sue opere, e fa trovare a ognuno il salario della sua condotta.
Job 34:12 Truly, God does not do evil, and the Ruler of all is not a false judge.	Giobbe 34:12 No, di certo Iddio non commette ingiustizie! l’Onnipotente non perverte il diritto.
Job 34:13 Who put the earth into his care, or made him responsible for the world?	Giobbe 34:13 Chi gli ha dato il governo della terra? Chi ha affidato l’universo alla sua cura?
Job 34:14 If he made his spirit come back to him, taking his breath into himself again,	Giobbe 34:14 S’ei non ponesse mente che a sé stesso, se ritirasse a sé il suo spirito e il suo soffio,
Job 34:15 All flesh would come to an end together, and man would go back to the dust.	Giobbe 34:15 ogni carne perirebbe d’un tratto, l’uomo ritornerebbe in polvere.
Job 34:16 If you are wise, take note of this; give ear to the voice of my words.	Giobbe 34:16 Se tu se’ intelligente, ascolta questo, porgi orecchio alla voce delle mie parole.
Job 34:17 How may a hater of right be a ruler? and will you say that the upright Ruler of all is evil?	Giobbe 34:17 Uno che odiasse la giustizia potrebbe governare? E osi tu condannare il Giusto, il Potente,
Job 34:18 He who says to a king, You are an evil-doer; and to rulers, You are sinners;	Giobbe 34:18 che chiama i re "uomini da nulla" e i principi: "scellerati"?
Job 34:19 Who has no respect for rulers, and who gives no more attention to those who have wealth than to the poor, for they are all the work of his hands.	Giobbe 34:19 che non porta rispetto all’apparenza de’ grandi, che non considera il ricco più del povero, perché son tutti opera delle sue mani?
Job 34:20 Suddenly they come to an end, even in the middle of the night: the blow comes on the men of wealth, and they are gone, and the strong are taken away without the hand of man.	Giobbe 34:20 In un attimo, essi muoiono; nel cuor della notte, la gente del popolo è scossa e scompare, i potenti son portati via, senza man d’uomo.
Job 34:21 For his eyes are on the ways of a man, and he sees all his steps.	Giobbe 34:21 Perché Iddio tien gli occhi aperti sulle vie de’ mortali, e vede tutti i lor passi.
Job 34:22 There is no dark place, and no thick cloud, in which the workers of evil may take cover.	Giobbe 34:22 Non vi son tenebre, non v’è ombra di morte, ove possa nascondersi chi opera iniquamente.
Job 34:23 For he does not give man a fixed time to come before him to be judged.	Giobbe 34:23 Dio non ha bisogno d’osservare a lungo un uomo per trarlo davanti a lui in giudizio.
Job 34:24 He sends the strong to destruction without searching out their cause, and puts others in their place.	Giobbe 34:24 Egli fiacca i potenti, senza inchiesta; e ne stabilisce altri al loro posto;
Job 34:25 For he has knowledge of their works, overturning them in the night, so that they are crushed.	Giobbe 34:25 poich’egli conosce le loro azioni; li abbatte nella notte, e son fiaccati;
Job 34:26 The evil-doers are broken by his wrath, he puts his hand on them with force before the eyes of all onlookers.	Giobbe 34:26 li colpisce come dei malvagi, in presenza di tutti,
Job 34:27 Because they did not go after him, and took no note of his ways,	Giobbe 34:27 perché si sono sviati da lui e non hanno posto mente ad alcuna delle sue vie;
Job 34:28 So that the cry of the poor might come up to him, and the prayer of those in need come to his ears.	Giobbe 34:28 han fatto salire a lui il gemito del povero, ed egli ha dato ascolto al gemito degli infelici.
Job 34:29 ...	Giobbe 34:29 Quando Iddio dà requie chi lo condannerà? Chi potrà contemplarlo quando nasconde il suo volto a una nazione ovvero a un individuo,
Job 34:30 ...	Giobbe 34:30 per impedire all’empio di regnare, per allontanar dal popolo le insidie?
Job 34:31 ...	Giobbe 34:31 Quell’empio ha egli detto a Dio: "Io porto la mia pena, non farò più il male,
Job 34:32 ...	Giobbe 34:32 mostrami tu quel che non so vedere; se ho agito perversamente, non lo farò più"?
Job 34:33 ...	Giobbe 34:33 Dovrà forse Iddio render la giustizia a modo tuo, che tu lo critichi? Ti dirà forse: "Scegli tu, non io, quello che sai, dillo"?
Job 34:34 Men of knowledge, and all wise men, hearing me, will say,	Giobbe 34:34 La gente assennata e ogni uomo savio che m’ascolta, mi diranno:
Job 34:35 Job's words do not come from knowledge; they are not the fruit of wisdom.	Giobbe 34:35 "Giobbe parla senza giudizio, le sue parole sono senza intendimento".
Job 34:36 May Job be tested to the end, because his answers have been like those of evil men.	Giobbe 34:36 Ebbene, sia Giobbe provato sino alla fine! poiché le sue risposte son quelle degli iniqui,
Job 34:37 For in addition to his sin, he is uncontrolled in heart; before our eyes he makes sport of God, increasing his words against him.	Giobbe 34:37 poiché aggiunge al peccato suo la ribellione, batte le mani in mezzo a noi, e moltiplica le sue parole contro Dio".
