Joshua 1:1 Now after the death of Moses, the servant of the Lord, the word of the Lord came to Joshua, the son of Nun, Moses' helper, saying,	Giosuè 1:1 Or avvenne, dopo la morte di Mosè, servo dell’Eterno, che l’Eterno parlò a Giosuè, figliuolo di Nun, ministro di Mosè, e gli disse:
Joshua 1:2 Moses my servant is dead; so now get up! Go over Jordan, you and all this people, into the land which I am giving to them, to the children of Israel.	Giosuè 1:2 "Mosè, mio servo è morto; or dunque lèvati, passa questo Giordano, tu con tutto questo popolo, per entrare nel paese che io do ai figliuoli d’Israele.
Joshua 1:3 Every place on which you put your foot I have given to you, as I said to Moses.	Giosuè 1:3 Ogni luogo che la pianta del vostro piede calcherà, io ve lo do, come ho detto a Mosè,
Joshua 1:4 From the waste land and this mountain Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, and all the land of the Hittites to the Great Sea, in the west, will be your country.	Giosuè 1:4 dal deserto, e dal Libano che vedi là, sino al gran fiume, il fiume Eufrate, tutto il paese degli Hittei sino al mar grande, verso occidente: quello sarà il vostro territorio.
Joshua 1:5 While you are living, all will give way before you: as I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not take away my help from you or give you up.	Giosuè 1:5 Nessuno ti potrà stare a fronte tutti i giorni della tua vita; come sono stato con Mosè, così sarò teco; io non ti lascerò e non ti abbandonerò.
Joshua 1:6 Take heart and be strong; for you will give to this people for their heritage the land which I gave by an oath to their fathers.	Giosuè 1:6 Sii forte e fatti animo, perché tu metterai questo popolo in possesso del paese che giurai ai loro padri di dare ad essi.
Joshua 1:7 Only take heart and be very strong; take care to do all the law which Moses my servant gave you, not turning from it to the right hand or to the left, so that you may do well in all your undertakings.	Giosuè 1:7 Solo sii forte e fatti risolutamente animo, avendo cura di mettere in pratica tutta la legge che Mosè, mio servo, t’ha data; non te ne sviare né a destra né a sinistra, affinché tu prosperi dovunque andrai.
Joshua 1:8 Let this book of the law be ever on your lips and in your thoughts day and night, so that you may keep with care everything in it; then a blessing will be on all your way, and you will do well.	Giosuè 1:8 Questo libro della legge non si diparta mai dalla tua bocca, ma meditalo giorno e notte, avendo cura di mettere in pratica tutto ciò che v’è scritto; poiché allora riuscirai in tutte le tue imprese, allora prospererai.
Joshua 1:9 Have I not given you your orders? Take heart and be strong; have no fear and do not be troubled; for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go,	Giosuè 1:9 Non te l’ho io comandato? Sii forte e fatti animo; non ti spaventare e non ti sgomentare, perché l’Eterno, il tuo Dio, sarà teco dovunque andrai".
Joshua 1:10 Then Joshua gave their orders to those who were in authority over the people, saying,	Giosuè 1:10 Allora Giosuè diede quest’ordine agli ufficiali del popolo:
Joshua 1:11 Go through the tents and give orders to the people, saying, Get ready a store of food; for in three days you are to go over this river Jordan and take for your heritage the land which the Lord your God is giving you.	Giosuè 1:11 "Passate per mezzo al campo, e date quest’ordine al popolo: Preparatevi dei viveri, perché di qui a tre giorni passerete questo Giordano per andare a conquistare il paese che l’Eterno, il vostro Dio, vi dà perché lo possediate".
Joshua 1:12 And to the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joshua said,	Giosuè 1:12 Giosuè parlò pure ai Rubeniti, ai Gaditi e alla mezza tribù di Manasse, e disse loro:
Joshua 1:13 Keep in mind what Moses, the servant of the Lord, said to you, The Lord your God is sending you rest and will give you this land.	Giosuè 1:13 "Ricordatevi dell’ordine che Mosè, servo dell’Eterno, vi dette quando vi disse: L’Eterno, il vostro Dio, vi ha concesso requie, e vi ha dato questo paese.
Joshua 1:14 Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle will be kept here in the land which Moses gave you on this side of Jordan; but you, the fighting-men, are to go over before your brothers, armed, to give them help;	Giosuè 1:14 Le vostre mogli, i vostri piccini e il vostro bestiame rimarranno nel paese che Mosè vi ha dato di qua dal Giordano; ma voi tutti che siete forti e valorosi passerete in armi alla testa de’ vostri fratelli e li aiuterete,
Joshua 1:15 Till the Lord has given your brothers rest, as he has given it to you, and they have taken their heritage in the land which the Lord your God is giving them: then you will go back to the land of your heritage which Moses, the servant of the Lord, gave you on the east side of Jordan.	Giosuè 1:15 finché l’Eterno abbia concesso requie ai vostri fratelli come a voi, e siano anch’essi in possesso del paese che l’Eterno, il vostro Dio, dà loro. Poi tornerete al paese che vi appartiene, il quale Mosè, servo dell’Eterno, vi ha dato di qua dal Giordano verso il levante, e ne prenderete possesso".
Joshua 1:16 Then they said to Joshua in answer, Whatever you say to us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go.	Giosuè 1:16 E quelli risposero a Giosuè, dicendo: "Noi faremo tutto quello che ci hai comandato, e andremo dovunque ci manderai;
Joshua 1:17 As we gave attention to Moses in all things, so we will give attention to you: and may the Lord your God be with you as he was with Moses.	Giosuè 1:17 ti ubbidiremo interamente, come abbiamo ubbidito a Mosè. Solamente, sia teco l’Eterno, il tuo Dio, com’è stato con Mosè!
Joshua 1:18 Whoever goes against your orders, and does not give attention to all your words, will be put to death: only take heart and be strong.	Giosuè 1:18 Chiunque sarà ribelle ai tuoi ordini e non ubbidirà alle tue parole, qualunque sia la cosa che gli comanderai, sarà messo a morte. Solo sii forte e fatti animo!"
