Luke 7	Luca 7
Luke 7:1 After he had come to the end of all his words in the hearing of the people, he went into Capernaum.	Luca 7:1 Dopo ch’egli ebbe finiti tutti i suoi ragionamenti al popolo che l’ascoltava, entrò in Capernaum.
Luke 7:2 And a certain captain had a servant who was very dear to him; this servant was ill and near to death.	Luca 7:2 Or il servitore d’un certo centurione, che l’avea molto caro, era malato e stava per morire;
Luke 7:3 And when news of Jesus came to his ears, he sent to him rulers of the Jews, requesting that he would come and make his servant well.	Luca 7:3 e il centurione, avendo udito parlar di Gesù, gli mandò degli anziani de’ giudei per pregarlo che venisse a salvare il suo servitore.
Luke 7:4 And they, when they came to Jesus, made their request warmly, saying,	Luca 7:4 Ed essi, presentatisi a Gesù, lo pregavano istantemente, dicendo: Egli è degno che tu gli conceda questo;
Luke 7:5 It is right for you to do this for him, because he is a friend to our nation, and himself has put up a Synagogue for us.	Luca 7:5 perché ama la nostra nazione, ed è lui che ci ha edificata la sinagoga.
Luke 7:6 And Jesus went with them. And when he was not far from the house, the man sent friends to him, saying, Lord, do not give yourself trouble: for I am not important enough for you to come into my house:	Luca 7:6 E Gesù s’incamminò con loro; e ormai non si trovava più molto lontano dalla casa, quando il centurione mandò degli amici a dirgli: Signore, non ti dare questo incomodo, perch’io non son degno che tu entri sotto il mio tetto;
Luke 7:7 And I had the feeling that I was not even good enough to come to you: but say the word only, and my servant will be well.	Luca 7:7 e perciò non mi son neppure reputato degno di venire da te; ma dillo con una parola, e sia guarito il mio servitore.
Luke 7:8 For I, myself, am a man under authority, having men under me; and I say to this one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.	Luca 7:8 Poiché anch’io son uomo sottoposto alla potestà altrui, ed ho sotto di me de’ soldati; e dico ad uno: Va’, ed egli va; e ad un altro: Vieni, ed egli viene; e al mio servitore: Fa’ questo, ed egli lo fa.
Luke 7:9 And when these things were said to Jesus, he was surprised, and, turning to the mass of people coming after him, said, I have not seen such great faith, no, not in Israel.	Luca 7:9 Udito questo, Gesù restò maravigliato di lui; e rivoltosi alla moltitudine che lo seguiva, disse: Io vi dico che neppure in Israele ho trovato una cotanta fede!
Luke 7:10 And when those who were sent came back to the house they saw that the servant was well.	Luca 7:10 E quando gl’inviati furon tornati a casa, trovarono il servitore guarito.
Luke 7:11 And it came about, after a little time, that he went to a town named Nain; and his disciples went with him, and a great number of people.	Luca 7:11 E avvenne in seguito, ch’egli s’avviò ad una città chiamata Nain, e i suoi discepoli e una gran moltitudine andavano con lui.
Luke 7:12 Now when he came near the door of the town, a dead man was being taken out, the only son of his mother, who was a widow: and a great number of people from the town were with her.	Luca 7:12 E come fu presso alla porta della città, ecco che si portava a seppellire un morto, figliuolo unico di sua madre; e questa era vedova; e una gran moltitudine della città era con lei.
Luke 7:13 And when the Lord saw her, he had pity on her and said to her, Be not sad.	Luca 7:13 E il Signore, vedutala, ebbe pietà di lei e le disse: Non piangere!
Luke 7:14 And he came near, and put his hand on the stretcher where the dead man was: and those who were moving it came to a stop. And he said, Young man, I say to you, Get up.	Luca 7:14 E accostatosi, toccò la bara; i portatori si fermarono, ed egli disse: Giovinetto, io tel dico, lèvati!
Luke 7:15 And the dead man got up, and words came from his lips. And he gave him to his mother.	Luca 7:15 E il morto si levò a sedere e cominciò a parlare. E Gesù lo diede a sua madre.
Luke 7:16 And fear came on all, and they gave praise to God, saying, A great prophet is among us: and, God has given thought to his people.	Luca 7:16 Tutti furon presi da timore, e glorificavano Iddio dicendo: Un gran profeta è sorto fra noi; e: Dio ha visitato il suo popolo.
Luke 7:17 And this story about him went through all Judaea and the places round about.	Luca 7:17 E questo dire intorno a Gesù si sparse per tutta la Giudea e per tutto il paese circonvicino.
Luke 7:18 And the disciples of John gave him an account of all these things.	Luca 7:18 E i discepoli di Giovanni gli riferirono tutte queste cose.
Luke 7:19 Then John sent two of his disciples to the Lord, saying, Are you he who is to come, or are we waiting for another?	Luca 7:19 Ed egli, chiamati a sé due dei suoi discepoli, li mandò al Signore a dirgli: Sei tu colui che ha da venire o ne aspetteremo noi un altro?
Luke 7:20 And when the men came to him they said, John the Baptist has sent us to you, saying, Are you he who is to come, or are we waiting for another?	Luca 7:20 E quelli, presentatisi a Gesù, gli dissero: Giovanni Battista ci ha mandati da te a dirti: Sei tu colui che ha da venire, o ne aspetteremo noi un altro?
Luke 7:21 At that time, he made a number of people free from their diseases and their pains, and from evil spirits; and to others who were blind he gave back the use of their eyes.	Luca 7:21 In quella stessa ora, Gesù guarì molti di malattie, di flagelli e di spiriti maligni, e a molti ciechi donò la vista.
Luke 7:22 And answering them he said, Go back and give news to John of what you have seen, and the things which have come to your ears; the blind now see, those who had no power in their legs are walking, lepers are made clean, those who had no hearing now have their ears open, dead men come to life again, and the poor have the good news given to them.	Luca 7:22 E, rispondendo, disse loro: Andate a riferire a Giovanni quel che avete veduto e udito: i ciechi ricuperano la vista, gli zoppi camminano, i lebbrosi sono mondati, i sordi odono, i morti risuscitano, l’Evangelo è annunziato ai poveri.
Luke 7:23 And a blessing will be on him who has no doubts about me.	Luca 7:23 E beato colui che non si sarà scandalizzato di me!
Luke 7:24 And when the men who were sent by John had gone away, he said to the people, about John, What did you go out into the waste land to see? a tall stem moving in the wind?	Luca 7:24 Quando i messi di Giovanni se ne furono andati, Gesù prese a dire alle turbe intorno a Giovanni: Che andaste a vedere nel deserto? Una canna dimenata dal vento?
Luke 7:25 But what did you go out to see? a man in soft clothing? See now, those who have beautiful clothing and delicate food are in kings' houses.	Luca 7:25 Ma che andaste a vedere? Un uomo avvolto in morbide vesti? Ecco, quelli che portano de’ vestimenti magnifici e vivono in delizie, stanno nei palazzi dei re.
Luke 7:26 But what did you go out to see? a prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet.	Luca 7:26 Ma che andaste a vedere? Un profeta? Sì, vi dico, e uno più che profeta.
Luke 7:27 This is he of whom it has been said, See, I send my servant before your face, who will make ready your way before you.	Luca 7:27 Egli è colui del quale è scritto: Ecco, io mando il mio messaggero davanti al tuo cospetto che preparerà la tua via dinanzi a te.
Luke 7:28 I say to you, Among all the sons of women, not one is greater than John: but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.	Luca 7:28 Io ve lo dico: Fra i nati di donna non ve n’è alcuno maggiore di Giovanni; però, il minimo nel regno di Dio è maggiore di lui.
Luke 7:29 (And all the people, and the tax-farmers, to whom John had given baptism, when they had knowledge of these things, gave glory to God.	Luca 7:29 E tutto il popolo che l’ha udito, ed anche i pubblicani, hanno reso giustizia a Dio, facendosi battezzare del battesimo di Giovanni;
Luke 7:30 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were against the purpose of God for themselves, not having had his baptism.)	Luca 7:30 ma i Farisei e i dottori della legge hanno reso vano per loro stessi il consiglio di Dio, non facendosi battezzare da lui.
Luke 7:31 What comparison am I to make of the men of this generation? what are they like?	Luca 7:31 A chi dunque assomiglierò gli uomini di questa generazione? E a chi sono simili?
Luke 7:32 They are like children who are seated in the market-place, crying out to one another, and saying, We made music for you, but you did not take part in the dance; we gave cries of sorrow, but you were not sad.	Luca 7:32 Sono simili ai fanciulli che stanno a sedere in piazza, e gridano gli uni agli altri: Vi abbiam sonato il flauto e non avete ballato; abbiam cantato dei lamenti e non avete pianto.
Luke 7:33 For John the Baptist came, taking no food or drink, and you say, He has an evil spirit.	Luca 7:33 Difatti è venuto Giovanni Battista non mangiando pane ne bevendo vino, e voi dite: Ha un demonio.
Luke 7:34 The Son of man came feasting, and you say, Here is a lover of food and wine, a friend of tax-farmers and sinners.	Luca 7:34 E’ venuto il Figliuol dell’uomo mangiando e bevendo, e voi dite: Ecco un mangiatore ed un beone, un amico dei pubblicani e de’ peccatori!
Luke 7:35 But wisdom is judged to be right by all her children.	Luca 7:35 Ma alla sapienza è stata resa giustizia da tutti i suoi figliuoli.
Luke 7:36 And one of the Pharisees made a request that he would take a meal with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house and took his seat at the table.	Luca 7:36 Or uno de’ Farisei lo pregò di mangiare da lui; ed egli, entrato in casa del Fariseo, si mise a tavola.
Luke 7:37 And there was a woman in the town who was a sinner; and when she had news that he was a guest in the Pharisee's house, she took a bottle of perfume,	Luca 7:37 Ed ecco, una donna che era in quella città, una peccatrice, saputo ch’egli era a tavola in casa del Fariseo, portò un alabastro d’olio odorifero;
Luke 7:38 And went in and took her place at the back of him, near his feet, weeping, so that his feet were washed with the drops from her eyes, and with her hair she made them dry, and kissing his feet she put the perfume on them.	Luca 7:38 e stando a’ piedi di lui, di dietro, piangendo cominciò a rigargli di lagrime i piedi, e li asciugava coi capelli del suo capo; e gli baciava e ribaciava i piedi e li ungeva con l’olio.
Luke 7:39 Now when the Pharisee in whose house he was saw it, he said to himself, This man, if he was a prophet, would be conscious what sort of woman this is who has put her hands on him, that she is a sinner.	Luca 7:39 Il Fariseo che l’avea invitato, veduto ciò, disse fra sé: Costui, se fosse profeta, saprebbe chi e quale sia la donna che lo tocca; perché è una peccatrice.
Luke 7:40 And Jesus, answering, said, Simon, I have something to say to you. And he said, Master, say on.	Luca 7:40 E Gesù, rispondendo, gli disse: Simone, ho qualcosa da dirti. Ed egli:
Luke 7:41 And he said, Two men were in debt to a certain man of business: one had a debt of five hundred pence, and the other of fifty.	Luca 7:41 Maestro, di’ pure. Un creditore avea due debitori; l’uno gli dovea cinquecento denari e l’altro cinquanta.
Luke 7:42 When they were unable to make payment, he made the two of them free of their debts. Which of them, now, will have the greater love for him?	Luca 7:42 E non avendo essi di che pagare, condonò il debito ad ambedue. Chi di loro dunque l’amerà di più?
Luke 7:43 Simon, in answer, said, It seems he whose debt was greater. And he said, Your decision is right.	Luca 7:43 Simone, rispondendo, disse: Stimo sia colui al quale ha condonato di più. E Gesù gli disse: Hai giudicato rettamente.
Luke 7:44 And turning to the woman he said to Simon, You see this woman? I came into your house; you did not give me water for my feet: but she has been washing my feet with the drops from her eyes, and drying them with her hair.	Luca 7:44 E voltosi alla donna, disse a Simone: Vedi questa donna? Io sono entrato in casa tua, e tu non m’hai dato dell’acqua ai piedi; ma ella mi ha rigato i piedi di lagrime e li ha asciugati co’ suoi capelli.
Luke 7:45 You did not give me a kiss: but she, from the time when I came in, has gone on kissing my feet.	Luca 7:45 Tu non m’hai dato alcun bacio; ma ella, da che sono entrato, non ha smesso di baciarmi i piedi.
Luke 7:46 You put no oil on my head: but she has put perfume on my feet.	Luca 7:46 Tu non m’hai unto il capo d’olio; ma ella m’ha unto i piedi di profumo.
Luke 7:47 And so I say to you, She will have forgiveness for her sins which are great in number, because of her great love: but he who has small need of forgiveness gives little love.	Luca 7:47 Per la qual cosa, io ti dico: Le sono rimessi i suoi molti peccati, perché ha molto amato; ma colui a cui poco è rimesso, poco ama.
Luke 7:48 And he said to her, You have forgiveness for your sins.	Luca 7:48 Poi disse alla donna: I tuoi peccati ti sono rimessi.
Luke 7:49 And those who were seated at table with him said to themselves, Who is this who even gives forgiveness of sins?	Luca 7:49 E quelli che erano a tavola con lui, cominciarono a dire dentro di sé: Chi è costui che rimette anche i peccati?
Luke 7:50 And he said to the woman, By your faith you have salvation; go in peace.	Luca 7:50 Ma egli disse alla donna: La tua fede t’ha salvata; vattene in pace.
