Psalms 115:1 Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name let glory be given, because of your mercy and your unchanging faith.	Salmi 115:1 Non a noi, o Eterno, non a noi, ma al tuo nome da’ gloria, per la tua benignità e per la tua fedeltà!
Psalms 115:2 Why may the nations say, Where is now their God?	Salmi 115:2 Perché direbbero le nazioni: Dov’è il loro Dio?
Psalms 115:3 But our God is in heaven: he has done whatever was pleasing to him.	Salmi 115:3 Ma il nostro Dio è nei cieli; egli fa tutto ciò che gli piace.
Psalms 115:4 Their images are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.	Salmi 115:4 I loro idoli sono argento ed oro, opera di mano d’uomo.
Psalms 115:5 They have mouths, but no voice; they have eyes, but they see not;	Salmi 115:5 Hanno bocca e non parlano, hanno occhi e non vedono,
Psalms 115:6 They have ears, but no hearing; they have noses, but no sense of smell;	Salmi 115:6 hanno orecchi e non odono, hanno naso e non odorano,
Psalms 115:7 They have hands without feeling, and feet without power of walking; and no sound comes from their throat.	Salmi 115:7 hanno mani e non toccano, hanno piedi e non camminano, la loro gola non rende alcun suono.
Psalms 115:8 Those who make them are like them; and so is everyone who puts his faith in them.	Salmi 115:8 Come loro sian quelli che li fanno, tutti quelli che in essi confidano.
Psalms 115:9 O Israel, have faith in the Lord: he is their help and their breastplate.	Salmi 115:9 O Israele, confida nell’Eterno! Egli è il loro aiuto e il loro scudo.
Psalms 115:10 O house of Aaron, have faith in the Lord: he is their help and their breastplate.	Salmi 115:10 O casa d’Aaronne, confida nell’Eterno! Egli è il loro aiuto e il loro scudo.
Psalms 115:11 You worshippers of the Lord, have faith in the Lord: he is their help and their breastplate.	Salmi 115:11 O voi che temete l’Eterno, confidate nell’Eterno! Egli è il loro aiuto e il loro scudo.
Psalms 115:12 The Lord has kept us in mind and will give us his blessing; he will send blessings on the house of Israel and on the house of Aaron.	Salmi 115:12 L’Eterno si è ricordato di noi; egli benedirà, sì, benedirà la casa d’Israele, benedirà la casa d’Aaronne,
Psalms 115:13 He will send blessings on the worshippers of the Lord, on the small and on the great.	Salmi 115:13 benedirà quelli che temono l’Eterno, piccoli e grandi.
Psalms 115:14 May the Lord give you and your children still greater increase.	Salmi 115:14 L’Eterno vi moltiplichi le sue grazie, a voi ed ai vostri figliuoli.
Psalms 115:15 May you have the blessing of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.	Salmi 115:15 Siate benedetti dall’Eterno, che ha fatto il cielo e la terra.
Psalms 115:16 The heavens are the Lord's; but the earth he has given to the children of men.	Salmi 115:16 I cieli sono i cieli dell’Eterno, ma la terra l’ha data ai figliuoli degli uomini.
Psalms 115:17 The dead do not give praise to the Lord; or those who go down to the underworld.	Salmi 115:17 Non sono i morti che lodano l’Eterno, né alcuno di quelli che scendono nel luogo del silenzio;
Psalms 115:18 But we will give praise to the Lord now and for ever. Praise be to the Lord.	Salmi 115:18 ma noi benediremo l’Eterno da ora in perpetuo. Alleluia.
