Psalms 124:2 If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men came up against us;	Salmi 124:2 se non fosse stato l’Eterno che fu per noi, quando gli uomini si levarono contro noi,
Psalms 124:3 They would have made a meal of us while still living, in the heat of their wrath against us:	Salmi 124:3 allora ci avrebbero inghiottiti tutti vivi, quando l’ira loro ardeva contro noi;
Psalms 124:4 We would have been covered by the waters; the streams would have gone over our soul;	Salmi 124:4 allora le acque ci avrebbero sommerso, il torrente sarebbe passato sull’anima nostra;
Psalms 124:5 Yes, the waters of pride would have gone over our soul.	Salmi 124:5 allora le acque orgogliose sarebbero passate sull’anima nostra.
Psalms 124:6 Praise be to the Lord, who has not let us be wounded by their teeth.	Salmi 124:6 Benedetto sia l’Eterno che non ci ha dato in preda ai loro denti!
