Psalms 71:1 In you, O Lord, have I put my hope; let me never be shamed.	Salmi 71:1 In te, o Eterno, io mi confido, fa’ ch’io non sia giammai confuso.
Psalms 71:2 Keep me safe in your righteousness, and come to my help; give ear to my voice, and be my saviour.	Salmi 71:2 Per la tua giustizia, liberami, fammi scampare! Inchina a me il tuo orecchio, e salvami!
Psalms 71:3 Be my strong Rock, the strong place of my salvation; for you are my Rock, and my safe place.	Salmi 71:3 Siimi una ròcca, una dimora ove io possa sempre rifugiarmi! Tu hai prescritto ch’io sia salvato, perché sei la mia rupe e la mia fortezza.
Psalms 71:4 O my God, take me out of the hand of the sinner, out of the hand of the evil and cruel man.	Salmi 71:4 O mio Dio, liberami dalla man dell’empio dalla man del perverso e del violento!
Psalms 71:5 For you are my hope, O Lord God; I have had faith in you from the time when I was young.	Salmi 71:5 Poiché tu sei la mia speranza, o Signore, o Eterno, la mia fiducia fin dalla mia fanciullezza.
Psalms 71:6 You have been my support from the day of my birth; you took me out of my mother's body; my praise will be ever of you.	Salmi 71:6 Tu sei stato il mio sostegno fin dal seno materno, sei tu che m’hai tratto dalle viscere di mia madre; tu sei del continuo l’oggetto della mia lode.
Psalms 71:7 I am a wonder to all; but you are my strong tower.	Salmi 71:7 Io son per molti come un prodigio, ma tu sei il mio forte ricetto.
Psalms 71:8 My mouth will be full of your praise and glory all the day.	Salmi 71:8 Sia la mia bocca ripiena della tua lode, e celebri ogni giorno la tua gloria!
Psalms 71:9 Do not give me up when I am old; be my help even when my strength is gone.	Salmi 71:9 Non rigettarmi al tempo della vecchiezza, non abbandonarmi quando le mie forze declinano.
Psalms 71:10 For my haters are waiting secretly for me; and those who are watching for my soul are banded together in their evil designs,	Salmi 71:10 Perché i miei nemici parlan di me, e quelli che spiano l’anima mia cospirano assieme,
Psalms 71:11 Saying, God has given him up; go after him and take him, for he has no helper.	Salmi 71:11 dicendo: Iddio l’ha abbandonato; inseguitelo e prendetelo, perché non c’è alcuno che lo liberi.
Psalms 71:12 O God, be not far from me; O my God, come quickly to my help.	Salmi 71:12 O Dio, non allontanarti da me, mio Dio, affrettati in mio aiuto!
Psalms 71:13 Let those who say evil against my soul be overcome and put to shame; let my haters be made low and have no honour.	Salmi 71:13 Sian confusi, siano consumati gli avversari dell’anima mia, sian coperti d’onta e di vituperio quelli che cercano il mio male!
Psalms 71:14 But I will go on ever hoping, and increasing in all your praise.	Salmi 71:14 Ma io spererò del continuo, e a tutte le tue lodi ne aggiungerò delle altre.
Psalms 71:15 My mouth will make clear your righteousness and your salvation all the day; for they are more than may be measured.	Salmi 71:15 La mia bocca racconterà tuttodì la tua giustizia e le tue liberazioni, perché non ne conosco il numero.
Psalms 71:16 I will give news of the great acts of the Lord God; my words will be of your righteousness, and of yours only.	Salmi 71:16 Io mi farò innanzi a dir de’ potenti atti del Signore, dell’Eterno; ricorderò la tua giustizia, la tua soltanto.
Psalms 71:17 O God, you have been my teacher from the time when I was young; and I have been talking of your works of wonder even till now.	Salmi 71:17 O Dio, tu m’hai ammaestrato dalla mia fanciullezza, ed io, fino ad ora, ho annunziato le tue maraviglie.
Psalms 71:18 Now when I am old and grey-headed, O God, give me not up; till I have made clear your strength to this generation, and your power to all those to come.	Salmi 71:18 Ed anche quando sia giunto alla vecchiaia ed alla canizie, o Dio, non abbandonarmi, finché non abbia fatto conoscere il tuo braccio a questa generazione, e la tua potenza a quelli che verranno.
Psalms 71:19 Your righteousness, O God, is very high; you have done great things; O God, who is like you?	Salmi 71:19 Anche la tua giustizia, o Dio, è eccelsa; tu hai fatto cose grandi; o Dio, chi è pari a te?
Psalms 71:20 You, who have sent great and bitter troubles on me, will give me life again, lifting me up from the deep waters of the underworld.	Salmi 71:20 Tu, che ci hai fatto veder molte e gravi distrette, ci darai di nuovo la vita e ci trarrai di nuovo dagli abissi della terra;
Psalms 71:21 You will make me greater than before, and give me comfort on every side.	Salmi 71:21 tu accrescerai la mia grandezza, e ti volgerai di nuovo a me per consolarmi.
Psalms 71:22 I will give praise to you with instruments of music, O my God, for you are true; I will make songs to you with music, O Holy One of Israel.	Salmi 71:22 Io altresì ti celebrerò col saltèro, celebrerò la tua verità, o mio Dio! A te salmeggerò con la cetra, o Santo d’Israele!
Psalms 71:23 Joy will be on my lips when I make melody to you; and in my soul, to which you have given salvation.	Salmi 71:23 Le mie labbra giubileranno, quando salmeggerò a te e l’anima mia pure, che tu hai riscattata.
Psalms 71:24 My tongue will be talking of your righteousness all the day; for those whose purpose is to do me evil have been crushed and put to shame.	Salmi 71:24 Anche la mia lingua parlerà tuttodì della tua giustizia, perché sono stati svergognati, sono stati confusi quelli che cercavano il mio male.
