Psalms 72:1 Of Solomon. Give the king your authority, O God, and your righteousness to the king's son.	Salmi 72:1 Di Salomone. O Dio, da’ i tuoi giudizi al re, e la tua giustizia al figliuolo del re;
Psalms 72:2 May he be a judge of your people in righteousness, and make true decisions for the poor.	Salmi 72:2 ed egli giudicherà il tuo popolo con giustizia, e i tuoi miseri con equità!
Psalms 72:3 May the mountains give peace to the people, and the hills righteousness.	Salmi 72:3 I monti produrranno pace al popolo, e i colli pure, mediante la giustizia!
Psalms 72:4 May he be a judge of the poor among the people, may he give salvation to the children of those who are in need; by him let the violent be crushed.	Salmi 72:4 Egli farà ragione ai miseri del popolo, salverà i figliuoli del bisognoso, e fiaccherà l’oppressore!
Psalms 72:5 May his life go on as long as the sun and moon, through all generations.	Salmi 72:5 Ti temeranno fin che duri il sole, finché duri la luna, per ogni età!
Psalms 72:6 May he come down like rain on the cut grass; like showers watering the earth.	Salmi 72:6 Ei scenderà come pioggia sul prato segato, come acquazzone che adacqua la terra.
Psalms 72:7 In his days may the upright do well, living in peace as long as there is a moon in heaven.	Salmi 72:7 Ai dì d’esso il giusto fiorirà, e vi sarà abbondanza di pace finché non vi sia più luna.
Psalms 72:8 Let his kingdom be from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth.	Salmi 72:8 Egli signoreggerà da un mare all’altro, e dal fiume fino all’estremità della terra.
Psalms 72:9 Let those who are against him go down before him; and let his haters be low in the dust.	Salmi 72:9 Davanti a lui s’inchineranno gli abitanti del deserto e i suoi nemici leccheranno la polvere.
Psalms 72:10 Let the kings of Tarshish and of the islands come back with offerings; let the kings of Sheba and Seba give of their stores.	Salmi 72:10 I re di Tarsis e le isole gli pagheranno il tributo, i re di Sceba e di Seba gli offriranno doni;
Psalms 72:11 Yes, let all kings go down before him; let all nations be his servants.	Salmi 72:11 e tutti i re gli si prostreranno dinanzi, tutte le nazioni lo serviranno.
Psalms 72:12 For he will be a saviour to the poor in answer to his cry; and to him who is in need, without a helper.	Salmi 72:12 Poich’egli libererà il bisognoso che grida, e il misero che non ha chi l’aiuti.
Psalms 72:13 He will have pity on the poor, and be the saviour of those who are in need.	Salmi 72:13 Egli avrà compassione dell’infelice e del bisognoso, e salverà l’anima de’ poveri.
Psalms 72:14 He will keep their souls free from evil designs and violent attacks; and their blood will be of value in his eyes.	Salmi 72:14 Egli redimerà l’anima loro dall’oppressione e dalla violenza, e il loro sangue sarà prezioso agli occhi suoi.
Psalms 72:15 May he have long life, and may gold from Sheba be given to him: may prayers be made for him at all times; may blessings be on him every day.	Salmi 72:15 Egli vivrà; e a lui sarà dato dell’oro di Sceba, e la gente pregherà per lui tuttodì, lo benedirà del continuo.
Psalms 72:16 May there be wide-stretching fields of grain in the land, shaking on the top of the mountains, full of fruit like Lebanon: may its stems be unnumbered like the grass of the earth.	Salmi 72:16 Vi sarà abbondanza di grano nel paese, sulla sommità dei monti. Ondeggeranno le spighe come fanno gli alberi del Libano, e gli abitanti delle città fioriranno come l’erba della terra!
Psalms 72:17 May his name go on for ever, as long as the sun: may men be blessing themselves by him; may all nations be blessing his name.	Salmi 72:17 Il suo nome durerà in eterno, il suo nome sarà perpetuato finché duri il sole; e gli uomini si benediranno a vicenda in lui; tutte le nazioni lo chiameranno beato!
Psalms 72:18 Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, the only doer of wonders.	Salmi 72:18 Sia benedetto l’Eterno Iddio, l’Iddio d’Israele, il quale solo fa maraviglie!
Psalms 72:19 Praise to the glory of his noble name for ever; let all the earth be full of his glory. So be it, So be it.	Salmi 72:19 Sia benedetto in eterno il suo nome glorioso, e tutta la terra sia ripiena della gloria! Amen! Amen!
