Psalms 37	Salmos 37
Psalms 37:1 Of David. Do not be angry because of the wrongdoers, or have envy of the workers of evil.	Salmos 37:1 Não te enfades por causa dos malfeitores, nem tenhas inveja dos que praticam a iniqüidade.
Psalms 37:2 For they will quickly be cut down like grass, and become dry like the green plants.	Salmos 37:2 Pois em breve murcharão como a relva, e secarão como a erva verde.
Psalms 37:3 Have faith in the Lord, and do good; be at rest in the land, and go after righteousness.	Salmos 37:3 Confia no Senhor e faze o bem; assim habitarás na terra, e te alimentarás em segurança.
Psalms 37:4 So will your delight be in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires.	Salmos 37:4 Deleita-te também no Senhor, e ele te concederá o que deseja o teu coração.
Psalms 37:5 Put your life in the hands of the Lord; have faith in him and he will do it.	Salmos 37:5 Entrega o teu caminho ao Senhor; confia nele, e ele tudo fará.
Psalms 37:6 And he will make your righteousness be seen like the light, and your cause like the shining of the sun.	Salmos 37:6 E ele fará sobressair a tua justiça como a luz, e o teu direito como o meio-dia.
Psalms 37:7 Take your rest in the Lord, waiting quietly for him; do not be angry because of the man who does well in his evil ways, and gives effect to his bad designs.	Salmos 37:7 Descansa no Senhor, e espera nele; não te enfades por causa daquele que prospera em seu caminho, por causa do homem que executa maus desígnios.
Psalms 37:8 Put an end to your wrath and be no longer bitter; do not give way to angry feeling which is a cause of sin.	Salmos 37:8 Deixa a ira, e abandona o furor; não te enfades, pois isso só leva à prática do mal.
Psalms 37:9 For the evil-doers will be cut off: but those who have faith in the Lord will have the earth for their heritage.	Salmos 37:9 Porque os malfeitores serão exterminados, mas aqueles que esperam no Senhor herdarão a terra.
Psalms 37:10 For in a short time the evil-doer will be gone: you will go searching for his place, and it will not be there.	Salmos 37:10 Pois ainda um pouco, e o ímpio não existirá; atentarás para o seu lugar, e ele ali não estará.
Psalms 37:11 But the gentle will have the earth for their heritage; they will take their delight in peace without measure.	Salmos 37:11 Mas os mansos herdarão a terra, e se deleitarão na abundância de paz.
Psalms 37:12 The sinner has evil designs against the upright, lifting up the voice of wrath against him.	Salmos 37:12 O ímpio maquina contra o justo, e contra ele range os dentes,
Psalms 37:13 He will be laughed at by the Lord, who sees that his day is coming.	Salmos 37:13 mas o Senhor se ri do ímpio, pois vê que vem chegando o seu dia.
Psalms 37:14 The evil-doers have taken out their swords, their bows are bent; for crushing the poor, and to put to death those who are upright in their ways.	Salmos 37:14 Os ímpios têm puxado da espada e têm entesado o arco, para derrubarem o poder e necessitado, e para matarem os que são retos no seu caminho.
Psalms 37:15 But their swords will be turned into their hearts, and their bows will be broken.	Salmos 37:15 Mas a sua espada lhes entrará no coração, e os seus arcos quebrados.
Psalms 37:16 The little which the good man has is better than the wealth of evil-doers.	Salmos 37:16 Mais vale o pouco que o justo tem, do que as riquezas de muitos ímpios.
Psalms 37:17 For the arms of the evil-doers will be broken: but the Lord is the support of the good.	Salmos 37:17 Pois os braços dos ímpios serão quebrados, mas o Senhor sustém os justos.
Psalms 37:18 The days of the upright are numbered by the Lord, and their heritage will be for ever.	Salmos 37:18 O Senhor conhece os dias dos íntegros, e a herança deles permanecerá para sempre.
Psalms 37:19 They will not be shamed in the evil time, and in the days when all are in need of food they will have enough.	Salmos 37:19 Não serão envergonhados no dia do mal, e nos dias da fome se fartarão.
Psalms 37:20 But the wrongdoers will come to destruction, and the haters of the Lord will be like the fat of lambs, they will be burned up; they will go up in smoke, and never again be seen.	Salmos 37:20 Mas os ímpios perecerão, e os inimigos do Senhor serão como a beleza das pastagens; desaparecerão, em fumaça se desfarão.
Psalms 37:21 The sinner takes money and does not give it back; but the upright man has mercy, and gives to others.	Salmos 37:21 O ímpio toma emprestado, e não paga; mas o justo se compadece e dá.
Psalms 37:22 Those who have his blessing will have the earth for their heritage; but those who are cursed by him will be cut off.	Salmos 37:22 Pois aqueles que são abençoados pelo Senhor herdarão a terra, mas aqueles que são por ele amaldiçoados serão exterminados.
Psalms 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he takes delight in his way.	Salmos 37:23 Confirmados pelo Senhor são os passos do homem em cujo caminho ele se deleita;
Psalms 37:24 Even if he has a fall he will not be without help: for the hand of the Lord is supporting him.	Salmos 37:24 ainda que caia, não ficará prostrado, pois o Senhor lhe segura a mão.
Psalms 37:25 I have been young, and now am old, but I have not seen the good man without help, or his children looking for bread.	Salmos 37:25 Fui moço, e agora sou velho; mas nunca vi desamparado o justo, nem a sua descendência a mendigar o pão.
Psalms 37:26 All the day he is ready to have mercy and to give; his children are a blessing.	Salmos 37:26 Ele é sempre generoso, e empresta, e a sua descendência é abençoada.
Psalms 37:27 Be turned from evil, and do good; and your place will be for ever.	Salmos 37:27 Aparta-te do mal e faze o bem; e terás morada permanente.
Psalms 37:28 For the Lord is a lover of righteousness, and takes care of his saints; they will be kept safe for ever; but the seed of the evil-doers will be cut off.	Salmos 37:28 Pois o Senhor ama a justiça e não desampara os seus santos. Eles serão preservados para sempre, mas a descendência dos ímpios será exterminada.
Psalms 37:29 The upright will have the earth for their heritage, and will go on living there for ever.	Salmos 37:29 Os justos herdarão a terra e nela habitarão para sempre.
Psalms 37:30 The mouth of the good man says words of wisdom; the talk of his tongue is of righteousness.	Salmos 37:30 A boca do justo profere sabedoria; a sua língua fala o que é reto.
Psalms 37:31 The law of his God is in his heart; he will never make a false step.	Salmos 37:31 A lei do seu Deus está em seu coração; não resvalarão os seus passos.
Psalms 37:32 The sinners are watching the upright man, desiring to put him to death.	Salmos 37:32 O ímpio espreita o justo, e procura matá-lo.
Psalms 37:33 The Lord will not give him into their hands, or be against him when he is judged.	Salmos 37:33 O Senhor não o deixará nas mãos dele, nem o condenará quando for julgado.
Psalms 37:34 Be waiting for the Lord, and keep his way; and you will be lifted up, and have the land for your heritage: when the evil-doers are cut off, you will see it.	Salmos 37:34 Espera no Senhor, e segue o seu caminho, e ele te exaltará para herdares a terra; tu o verás quando os ímpios forem exterminados.
Psalms 37:35 I have seen the evil-doer in great power, covering the earth like a great tree.	Salmos 37:35 Vi um ímpio cheio de prepotência, e a espalhar-se como a árvore verde na terra natal.
Psalms 37:36 But he came to an end, and there was no sign of him; I made a search for him and he was not there.	Salmos 37:36 Mas eu passei, e ele já não era; procurei-o, mas não pôde ser encontrado.
Psalms 37:37 Give attention to the good man, and take note of the upright; because the end of that man is peace.	Salmos 37:37 Nota o homem íntegro, e considera o reto, porque há para o homem de paz um porvir feliz.
Psalms 37:38 But as for the sinners, they will be cut off together; the end of the wrongdoers is destruction.	Salmos 37:38 Quanto aos transgressores, serão à uma destruídos, e a posteridade dos ímpios será exterminada.
Psalms 37:39 But the Lord is the saviour of the upright: he is their strength in the time of trouble.	Salmos 37:39 Mas a salvação dos justos vem do Senhor; ele é a sua fortaleza no tempo da angústia.
Psalms 37:40 And the Lord will be their help, and keep them safe: he will take them out of the hands of the evil-doers, and be their saviour, because they had faith in him.	Salmos 37:40 E o Senhor os ajuda e os livra; ele os livra dos ímpios e os salva, porquanto nele se refugiam.
