Salmos 81

Psalms 81:1 ^
To the chief music-maker; put to the Gittith. Of Asaph.Make a song to God our strength: make a glad cry to the God of Jacob.
Salmos 81:1 ^
Cantai alegremente a Deus, nossa fortaleza; erguei alegres vozes ao Deus de Jacó.
Psalms 81:2 ^
Take up the melody, playing on an instrument of music, even on corded instruments.
Salmos 81:2 ^
Entoai um salmo, e fazei soar o adufe, a suave harpa e o saltério.
Psalms 81:3 ^
Let the horn be sounded in the time of the new moon, at the full moon, on our holy feast-day:
Salmos 81:3 ^
Tocai a trombeta pela lua nova, pela lua cheia, no dia da nossa festa.
Psalms 81:4 ^
For this is a rule for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.
Salmos 81:4 ^
Pois isso é um estatuto para Israel, e uma ordenança do Deus de Jacó.
Psalms 81:5 ^
He gave it to Joseph as a witness, when he went out over the land of Egypt; then the words of a strange tongue were sounding in my ears.
Salmos 81:5 ^
Ordenou-o por decreto em José, quando saiu contra a terra do Egito. Ouvi uma voz que não conhecia, dizendo:
Psalms 81:6 ^
I took the weight from his back; his hands were made free from the baskets.
Salmos 81:6 ^
Livrei da carga o seu ombro; as suas mãos ficaram livres dos cestos.
Psalms 81:7 ^
You gave a cry in your trouble, and I made you free; I gave you an answer in the secret place of the thunder; I put you to the test at the waters of Meribah. (Selah.)
Salmos 81:7 ^
Na angústia clamaste e te livrei; respondi-te no lugar oculto dos trovões; provei-te junto às águas de Meribá.
Psalms 81:8 ^
Give ear, O my people, and I will give you my word, O Israel, if you will only do as I say!
Salmos 81:8 ^
Ouve-me, povo meu, e eu te admoestarei; ó Israel, se me escutasses!
Psalms 81:9 ^
There is to be no strange god among you; you are not to give worship to any other god.
Salmos 81:9 ^
não haverá em ti deus estranho, nem te prostrarás ante um deus estrangeiro.
Psalms 81:10 ^
I am the Lord your God, who took you up from the land of Egypt: let your mouth be open wide, so that I may give you food.
Salmos 81:10 ^
Eu sou o Senhor teu Deus, que te tirei da terra do Egito; abre bem a tua boca, e eu a encherei.
Psalms 81:11 ^
But my people did not give ear to my voice; Israel would have nothing to do with me.
Salmos 81:11 ^
Mas o meu povo não ouviu a minha voz, e Israel não me quis.
Psalms 81:12 ^
So I gave them up to the desires of their hearts; that they might go after their evil purposes.
Salmos 81:12 ^
Pelo que eu os entreguei à obstinação dos seus corações, para que andassem segundo os seus próprios conselhos.
Psalms 81:13 ^
If only my people would give ear to me, walking in my ways!
Salmos 81:13 ^
Oxalá me escutasse o meu povo! oxalá Israel andasse nos meus caminhos!
Psalms 81:14 ^
I would quickly overcome their haters: my hand would be turned against those who make war on them.
Salmos 81:14 ^
Em breve eu abateria os seus inimigos, e voltaria a minha mão contra os seus adversários.
Psalms 81:15 ^
The haters of the Lord would be broken, and their destruction would be eternal.
Salmos 81:15 ^
Os que odeiam ao Senhor o adulariam, e a sorte deles seria eterna.
Psalms 81:16 ^
I would give them the best grain for food; you would be full of honey from the rock.
Salmos 81:16 ^
E eu te sustentaria com o trigo mais fino; e com o mel saído da rocha eu te saciaria.
