Acts 18:1 After these things, he went away from Athens, and came to Corinth.	Деяния 18:1 После сего Павел, оставив Афины, пришел в Коринф;
Acts 18:2 And there he came across a certain Jew named Aquila, a man of Pontus by birth, who not long before had come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had given orders that all Jews were to go away from Rome: and he came to them;	Деяния 18:2 и, найдя некоторого Иудея, именем Акилу, родом Понтянина, недавно пришедшего из Италии, и Прискиллу, жену его, --потому что Клавдий повелел всем Иудеям удалиться из Рима, --пришел к ним;
Acts 18:3 And because he was of the same trade, he was living with them, and they did their work together; for by trade they were tent-makers.	Деяния 18:3 и, по одинаковости ремесла, остался у них и работал; ибо ремеслом их было делание палаток.
Acts 18:4 And every Sabbath he had discussions in the Synagogue, turning Jews and Greeks to the faith.	Деяния 18:4 Во всякую же субботу он говорил в синагоге и убеждал Иудеев и Еллинов.
Acts 18:5 And when Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was completely given up to the word, preaching to the Jews that the Christ was Jesus.	Деяния 18:5 А когда пришли из Македонии Сила и Тимофей, то Павел понуждаем был духом свидетельствовать Иудеям, что Иисус есть Христос.
Acts 18:6 And when they put themselves against him, and said evil words, he said, shaking his clothing, Your blood be on your heads, I am clean: from now I will go to the Gentiles.	Деяния 18:6 Но как они противились и злословили, то он, отрясши одежды свои, сказал к ним: кровь ваша на главах ваших; я чист; отныне иду к язычникам.
Acts 18:7 And moving from there, he went into the house of a man named Titus Justus, a God-fearing man, whose house was very near the Synagogue.	Деяния 18:7 И пошел оттуда, и пришел к некоторому чтущему Бога, именем Иусту, которого дом был подле синагоги.
Acts 18:8 And Crispus, the ruler of the Synagogue, with all his family, had faith in the Lord; and a great number of the people of Corinth, hearing the word, had faith and were given baptism.	Деяния 18:8 Крисп же, начальник синагоги, уверовал в Господа со всем домом своим, и многие из Коринфян, слушая, уверовали и крестились.
Acts 18:9 And the Lord said to Paul in the night, in a vision, Have no fear and go on preaching:	Деяния 18:9 Господь же в видении ночью сказал Павлу: не бойся, но говори и не умолкай,
Acts 18:10 For I am with you, and no one will make an attack on you to do you damage: for I have a number of people in this town.	Деяния 18:10 ибо Я с тобою, и никто не сделает тебе зла, потому что у Меня много людей в этом городе.
Acts 18:11 And he was there for a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.	Деяния 18:11 И он оставался там год и шесть месяцев, поучая их слову Божию.
Acts 18:12 But when Gallio was ruler of Achaia, all the Jews together made an attack on Paul, and took him to the judge's seat,	Деяния 18:12 Между тем, во время проконсульства Галлиона в Ахаии, напали Иудеи единодушно на Павла и привели его пред судилище,
Acts 18:13 Saying, This man is teaching the people to give worship to God in a way which is against the law.	Деяния 18:13 говоря, что он учит людей чтить Бога не по закону.
Acts 18:14 But when Paul was about to say something, Gallio said to the Jews, If this was anything to do with wrongdoing or crime, there would be a reason for me to give you a hearing:	Деяния 18:14 Когда же Павел хотел открыть уста, Галлион сказал Иудеям: Иудеи! если бы какая-нибудь была обида или злой умысел, то я имел бы причину выслушать вас,
Acts 18:15 But if it is a question of words or names or of your law, see to it yourselves; I will not be a judge of such things.	Деяния 18:15 но когда идет спор об учении и об именах и о законе вашем, то разбирайте сами; я не хочу быть судьею в этом.
Acts 18:16 And he sent them away from the judge's seat.	Деяния 18:16 И прогнал их от судилища.
Acts 18:17 And they all made an attack on Sosthenes, the ruler of the Synagogue, and gave him blows before the judge's seat; but Gallio gave no attention to these things.	Деяния 18:17 А все Еллины, схватив Сосфена, начальника синагоги, били его перед судилищем; и Галлион нимало не беспокоился о том.
Acts 18:18 And Paul, after waiting some days, went away from the brothers and went by ship to Syria, Priscilla and Aquila being with him; and he had had his hair cut off in Cenchrea, for he had taken an oath.	Деяния 18:18 Павел, пробыв еще довольно дней, простился с братиями и отплыл в Сирию, --и с ним Акила и Прискилла, --остригши голову в Кенхреях, по обету.
Acts 18:19 And they came down to Ephesus and he left them there: and he himself went into the Synagogue and had a discussion with the Jews.	Деяния 18:19 Достигнув Ефеса, оставил их там, а сам вошел в синагогу и рассуждал с Иудеями.
Acts 18:20 And being requested by them to be there for a longer time, he said, No;	Деяния 18:20 Когда же они просили его побыть у них долее, он не согласился,
Acts 18:21 And went from them, saying, I will come back to you if God lets me; and he took ship from Ephesus.	Деяния 18:21 а простился с ними, сказав: мне нужно непременно провести приближающийся праздник в Иерусалиме; к вам же возвращусь опять, если будет угодно Богу. И отправился из Ефеса. (Акила же и Прискилла остались в Ефесе).
Acts 18:22 And when he had come to land at Caesarea, he went to see the church, and then went down to Antioch.	Деяния 18:22 Побывав в Кесарии, он приходил [в Иерусалим], приветствовал церковь и отошел в Антиохию.
Acts 18:23 And having been there for some time, he went through the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, making the disciples strong in the faith.	Деяния 18:23 И, проведя [там] несколько времени, вышел, и проходил по порядку страну Галатийскую и Фригию, утверждая всех учеников.
Acts 18:24 Now a certain Jew named Apollos, an Alexandrian by birth, and a man of learning, came to Ephesus; and he had great knowledge of the holy Writings.	Деяния 18:24 Некто Иудей, именем Аполлос, родом из Александрии, муж красноречивый и сведущий в Писаниях, пришел в Ефес.
Acts 18:25 This man had been trained in the way of the Lord; and burning in spirit, he gave himself up to teaching the facts about Jesus, though he had knowledge only of John's baptism:	Деяния 18:25 Он был наставлен в начатках пути Господня и, горя духом, говорил и учил о Господе правильно, зная только крещение Иоанново.
Acts 18:26 And he was preaching in the Synagogue without fear. But Priscilla and Aquila, hearing his words, took him in, and gave him fuller teaching about the way of God.	Деяния 18:26 Он начал смело говорить в синагоге. Услышав его, Акила и Прискилла приняли его и точнее объяснили ему путь Господень.
Acts 18:27 And when he had a desire to go over into Achaia, the brothers gave him help, and sent letters to the disciples requesting them to take him in among them: and when he had come, he gave much help to those who had faith through grace:	Деяния 18:27 А когда он вознамерился идти в Ахаию, то братия послали к [тамошним] ученикам, располагая их принять его; и он, прибыв туда, много содействовал уверовавшим благодатью,
Acts 18:28 For he overcame the Jews in public discussion, making clear from the holy Writings that the Christ was Jesus.	Деяния 18:28 ибо он сильно опровергал Иудеев всенародно, доказывая Писаниями, что Иисус есть Христос.
