Exodus 5:1 And after that, Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh, and said, The Lord, the God of Israel, says, Let my people go so that they may keep a feast to me in the waste land.	Исход 5:1 После сего Моисей и Аарон пришли к фараону и сказали: так говорит Господь, Бог Израилев: отпусти народ Мой, чтоб он совершил Мне праздник в пустыне.
Exodus 5:2 And Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord, to whose voice I am to give ear and let Israel go? I have no knowledge of the Lord and I will not let Israel go.	Исход 5:2 Но фараон сказал: кто такой Господь, чтоб я послушался голоса Его [и] отпустил Израиля? я не знаю Господа и Израиля не отпущу.
Exodus 5:3 And they said, The God of the Hebrews has come to us: let us then go three days' journey into the waste land to make an offering to the Lord our God, so that he may not send death on us by disease or the sword.	Исход 5:3 Они сказали: Бог Евреев призвал нас; отпусти нас в пустыню на три дня пути принести жертву Господу, Богу нашему, чтобы Он не поразил нас язвою, или мечом.
Exodus 5:4 And the king of Egypt said to them, Why do you, Moses and Aaron, take the people away from their work? get back to your work.	Исход 5:4 И сказал им царь Египетский: для чего вы, Моисей и Аарон, отвлекаете народ от дел его? ступайте на свою работу.
Exodus 5:5 And Pharaoh said, Truly, the people of the land are increasing in number, and you are keeping them back from their work.	Исход 5:5 И сказал фараон: вот, народ в земле сей многочислен, и вы отвлекаете его от работ его.
Exodus 5:6 The same day Pharaoh gave orders to the overseers and those who were responsible for the work, saying,	Исход 5:6 И в тот же день фараон дал повеление приставникам над народом и надзирателям, говоря:
Exodus 5:7 Give these men no more dry stems for their brick-making as you have been doing; let them go and get the material for themselves.	Исход 5:7 не давайте впредь народу соломы для делания кирпича, как вчера и третьего дня, пусть они сами ходят и собирают себе солому,
Exodus 5:8 But see that they make the same number of bricks as before, and no less: for they have no love for work; and so they are crying out and saying, Let us go and make an offering to our God.	Исход 5:8 а кирпичей наложите на них то же урочное число, какое они делали вчера и третьего дня, и не убавляйте; они праздны, потому и кричат: пойдем, принесем жертву Богу нашему;
Exodus 5:9 Give the men harder work, and see that they do it; let them not give attention to false words.	Исход 5:9 дать им больше работы, чтоб они работали и не занимались пустыми речами.
Exodus 5:10 And the overseers of the people and their responsible men went out and said to the people, Pharaoh says, I will give you no more dry stems.	Исход 5:10 И вышли приставники народа и надзиратели его и сказали народу: так говорит фараон: не даю вам соломы;
Exodus 5:11 Go yourselves and get dry stems wherever you are able; for your work is not to be any less.	Исход 5:11 сами пойдите, берите себе солому, где найдете, а от работы вашей ничего не убавляется.
Exodus 5:12 So the people were sent in all directions through the land of Egypt to get dry grass for stems.	Исход 5:12 И рассеялся народ по всей земле Египетской собирать жниво вместо соломы.
Exodus 5:13 And the overseers went on driving them and saying, Do your full day's work as before when there were dry stems for you.	Исход 5:13 Приставники же понуждали, говоря: выполняйте работу свою каждый день, как и тогда, когда была [у вас] солома.
Exodus 5:14 And the responsible men of the children of Israel, whom Pharaoh's overseers had put over them, were given blows, and they said to them, Why have you not done your regular work, in making bricks as before?	Исход 5:14 А надзирателей из сынов Израилевых, которых поставили над ними приставники фараоновы, били, говоря: почему вы вчера и сегодня не изготовляете урочного числа кирпичей, как было до сих пор?
Exodus 5:15 Then the responsible men of the children of Israel came to Pharaoh, protesting and saying, Why are you acting in this way to your servants?	Исход 5:15 И пришли надзиратели сынов Израилевых и возопили к фараону, говоря: для чего ты так поступаешь с рабами твоими?
Exodus 5:16 They give us no dry stems and they say to us, Make bricks: and they give your servants blows; but it is your people who are in the wrong.	Исход 5:16 соломы не дают рабам твоим, а кирпичи, говорят нам, делайте. И вот, рабов твоих бьют; грех народу твоему.
Exodus 5:17 But he said, You have no love for work: that is why you say, Let us go and make an offering to the Lord.	Исход 5:17 Но он сказал: праздны вы, праздны, поэтому и говорите: пойдем, принесем жертву Господу.
Exodus 5:18 Go now, get back to your work; no dry stems will be given to you, but you are to make the full number of bricks.	Исход 5:18 Пойдите же, работайте; соломы не дадут вам, а положенное число кирпичей давайте.
Exodus 5:19 Then the responsible men of the children of Israel saw that they were purposing evil when they said, The number of bricks which you have to make every day will be no less than before.	Исход 5:19 И увидели надзиратели сынов Израилевых беду свою в словах: не убавляйте числа кирпичей, какое [положено] на каждый день.
Exodus 5:20 And they came face to face with Moses and Aaron, who were in their way when they came out from Pharaoh:	Исход 5:20 И когда они вышли от фараона, то встретились с Моисеем и Аароном, которые стояли, ожидая их,
Exodus 5:21 And they said to them, May the Lord take note of you and be your judge; for you have given Pharaoh and his servants a bad opinion of us, putting a sword in their hands for our destruction.	Исход 5:21 и сказали им: да видит и судит вам Господь за то, что вы сделали нас ненавистными в глазах фараона и рабов его и дали им меч в руки, чтобы убить нас.
Exodus 5:22 And Moses went back to the Lord and said, Lord, why have you done evil to this people? why have you sent me?	Исход 5:22 И обратился Моисей к Господу и сказал: Господи! для чего Ты подвергнул такому бедствию народ сей, для чего послал меня?
Exodus 5:23 For from the time when I came to Pharaoh to put your words before him, he has done evil to this people, and you have given them no help.	Исход 5:23 ибо с того времени, как я пришел к фараону и стал говорить именем Твоим, он начал хуже поступать с народом сим; избавить же, --Ты не избавил народа Твоего.
