Jeremiah 18:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,	Иеремия 18:1 Слово, которое было к Иеремии от Господа:
Jeremiah 18:2 Up! go down to the potter's house, and there I will let my words come to your ears.	Иеремия 18:2 встань и сойди в дом горшечника, и там Я возвещу тебе слова Мои.
Jeremiah 18:3 Then I went down to the potter's house, and he was doing his work on the stones.	Иеремия 18:3 И сошел я в дом горшечника, и вот, он работал свою работу на кружале.
Jeremiah 18:4 And when the vessel, which he was forming out of earth, got damaged in the hand of the potter, he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make it.	Иеремия 18:4 И сосуд, который горшечник делал из глины, развалился в руке его; и он снова сделал из него другой сосуд, какой горшечнику вздумалось сделать.
Jeremiah 18:5 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,	Иеремия 18:5 И было слово Господне ко мне:
Jeremiah 18:6 O Israel, am I not able to do with you as this potter does? says the Lord. See, like earth in the potter's hand are you in my hands, O Israel.	Иеремия 18:6 не могу ли Я поступить с вами, дом Израилев, подобно горшечнику сему? говорит Господь. Вот, что глина в руке горшечника, то вы в Моей руке, дом Израилев.
Jeremiah 18:7 Whenever I say anything about uprooting a nation or a kingdom, and smashing it and sending destruction on it;	Иеремия 18:7 Иногда Я скажу о каком-либо народе и царстве, что искореню, сокрушу и погублю его;
Jeremiah 18:8 If, in that very minute, that nation of which I was talking is turned away from its evil, my purpose of doing evil to them will be changed.	Иеремия 18:8 но если народ этот, на который Я это изрек, обратится от своих злых дел, Я отлагаю то зло, которое помыслил сделать ему.
Jeremiah 18:9 And whenever I say anything about building up a nation or a kingdom, and planting it;	Иеремия 18:9 А иногда скажу о каком-либо народе и царстве, что устрою и утвержу его;
Jeremiah 18:10 If, in that very minute, it does evil in my eyes, going against my orders, then my good purpose, which I said I would do for them, will be changed.	Иеремия 18:10 но если он будет делать злое пред очами Моими и не слушаться гласа Моего, Я отменю то добро, которым хотел облагодетельствовать его.
Jeremiah 18:11 Now, then, say to the men of Judah and to the people of Jerusalem, This is what the Lord has said: See, I am forming an evil thing against you, and designing a design against you: let every man come back now from his evil way, and let your ways and your doings be changed for the better.	Иеремия 18:11 Итак скажи мужам Иуды и жителям Иерусалима: так говорит Господь: вот, Я готовлю вам зло и замышляю против вас; итак обратитесь каждый от злого пути своего и исправьте пути ваши и поступки ваши.
Jeremiah 18:12 But they will say, There is no hope: we will go on in our designs, and every one of us will do what he is moved by the pride of his evil heart to do.	Иеремия 18:12 Но они говорят: `не надейся; мы будем жить по своим помыслам и будем поступать каждый по упорству злого своего сердца`.
Jeremiah 18:13 So this is what the Lord has said: Make search among the nations and see who has had word of such things; the virgin of Israel has done a very shocking thing.	Иеремия 18:13 Посему так говорит Господь: спросите между народами, слыхал ли кто подобное сему? крайне гнусные дела совершила дева Израилева.
Jeremiah 18:14 Will the white snow go away from the top of Sirion? will the cold waters flowing from the mountains become dry?	Иеремия 18:14 Оставляет ли снег Ливанский скалу горы? и иссякают ли из других мест текущие холодные воды?
Jeremiah 18:15 For my people have put me out of their memory, burning perfumes to that which is nothing; and because of this, I will put a cause of falling in their ways, even in the old roads, and will make them go on side-roads, in a way not lifted up;	Иеремия 18:15 А народ Мой оставил Меня; они кадят суетным, споткнулись на путях своих, оставили пути древние, чтобы ходить по стезям пути непроложенного,
Jeremiah 18:16 Making their land a thing of wonder, causing sounds of surprise for ever; everyone who goes by will be overcome with wonder, shaking his head.	Иеремия 18:16 чтобы сделать землю свою ужасом, всегдашним посмеянием, так что каждый, проходящий по ней, изумится и покачает головою своею.
Jeremiah 18:17 I will send them in flight, as from an east wind, before the attacker; I will let them see my back and not my face on the day of their downfall.	Иеремия 18:17 Как восточным ветром развею их пред лицем врага; спиною, а не лицем обращусь к ним в день бедствия их.
Jeremiah 18:18 Then they said, Come, let us make a design against Jeremiah; for teaching will never be cut off from the priest, or wisdom from the wise, or the word from the prophet. Come, let us make use of his words for an attack on him, and let us give attention with care to what he says.	Иеремия 18:18 А они сказали: `придите, составим замысел против Иеремии; ибо не исчез же закон у священника и совет у мудрого, и слово у пророка; придите, сразим его языком и не будем внимать словам его`.
Jeremiah 18:19 Give thought to me, O Lord, and give ear to the voice of those who put forward a cause against me.	Иеремия 18:19 Внемли мне, Господи, и услышь голос моих противников.
Jeremiah 18:20 Is evil to be the reward of good? for they have made a deep hole for my soul. Keep in mind how I took my place before you, to say a good word for them so that your wrath might be turned away from them.	Иеремия 18:20 Должно ли воздавать злом за добро? а они роют яму душе моей. Вспомни, что я стою пред лицем Твоим, чтобы говорить за них доброе, чтобы отвратить от них гнев Твой.
Jeremiah 18:21 For this cause, let their children be without food, and give them over to the power of the sword; and let their wives be without children and become widows; let their men be overtaken by death, and their young men be put to the sword in the fight.	Иеремия 18:21 Итак предай сыновей их голоду и подвергни их мечу; да будут жены их бездетными и вдовами, и мужья их да будут поражены смертью, и юноши их умерщвлены мечом на войне.
Jeremiah 18:22 Let a cry for help go up from their houses, when you send an armed band on them suddenly: for they have made a hole in which to take me, and have put nets for my feet secretly.	Иеремия 18:22 Да будет слышен вопль из домов их, когда приведешь на них полки внезапно; ибо они роют яму, чтобы поймать меня, и тайно расставили сети для ног моих.
Jeremiah 18:23 But you, Lord, have knowledge of all the designs which they have made against my life; let not their evil-doing be covered or their sin be washed away from before your eyes: but let it be a cause of falling before you: so do to them in the time of your wrath.	Иеремия 18:23 Но Ты, Господи, знаешь все замыслы их против меня, чтобы умертвить меня; не прости неправды их и греха их не изгладь пред лицем Твоим; да будут они низвержены пред Тобою; поступи с ними во время гнева Твоего.
