| Now the part of the land marked out for the children of Judah by families, went up to the edge of Edom, as far as the waste land of Zin to the south, to the farthest point of it on the south. | Жребий колену сынов Иудиных, по племенам их, выпал такой: в смежности с Идумеею была пустыня Син, к югу, при конце Фемана; |
| Their south limit was from the farthest part of the Salt Sea, from the inlet looking to the south: | южным пределом их был край моря Соленого от простирающегося к югу залива; |
| From there it goes south of the slope up to Akrabbim, and on to Zin, then south past Kadesh-barnea, and on by Hezron and up to Addar, turning in the direction of Karka: | на юге идет он к возвышенности Акраввимской, проходит Цин и, восходя с южной стороны к Кадес-Варне, проходит Хецрон и, восходя до Аддара, поворачивает к Каркае, |
| Then on to Azmon, ending at the stream of Egypt: and the end of the limit is at the sea; this will be your limit on the south. | потом проходит Ацмон, идет к потоку Египетскому, так что конец сего предела есть море. Сей будет южный ваш предел. |
| And the east limit is the Salt Sea as far as the end of Jordan. And the limit of the north part of the land is from the inlet of the sea at the end of Jordan: | Пределом же к востоку море Соленое, до устья Иордана; а предел с северной стороны [начинается] от залива моря, от устья Иордана; |
| Then the line goes up to Beth-hoglah, past the north of Beth-arabah, and up to the stone of Bohan, the son of Reuben; | отсюда предел восходит к Беф-Хогле и проходит с северной стороны к Беф-Араве, и идет предел вверх до камня Богана, сына Рувимова; |
| Then the line goes up to Debir from the valley of Achor, and so to the north, in the direction of Gilgal, which is opposite the slope up to Adummim, on the south side of the river: and the line goes on to the waters of En-shemesh, ending at En-rogel: | потом восходит предел к Давиру от долины Ахор и на севере поворачивает к Галгалу, который против возвышенности Адуммима, лежащего с южной стороны потока; отсюда предел проходит к водам Ен-Шемеша и оканчивается у Ен-Рогела; |
| Then the line goes up by the valley of the son of Hinnom to the south side of the Jebusite (which is Jerusalem): then up to the top of the mountain in front of the valley of Hinnom to the west, which is at the farthest point of the valley of Rephaim on the north: | отсюда предел идет вверх к долине сына Енномова с южной стороны Иевуса, который [есть] Иерусалим, и восходит предел на вершину горы, которая к западу против долины Енномовой, которая на краю долины Рефаимов к северу; |
| And the limit is marked out from the top of the mountain to the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah, and out to the towns of Mount Ephron, as far as Baalah (which is Kiriath-jearim): | от вершины горы предел поворачивает к источнику вод Нефтоах и идет к городам горы Ефрона, и поворачивает предел к Ваалу, который [есть] Кириаф-Иарим; |
| Then turning west, the line goes from Baalah to Mount Seir, and on to the side of Mount Jearim (which is Chesalon) on the north, then down to Beth-shemesh, and on past Timnah: | потом поворачивает предел от Ваала к морю к горе Сеиру, и идет северною стороною горы Иеарим, которая [есть] Кесалон, и, нисходя к Вефсамису, проходит чрез Фимну; |
| And out to the side of Ekron to the north: then it is marked out to Shikkeron and on to Mount Baalah, ending at Jabneel; the end of the line is at the sea. | отсюда предел идет северною стороною Екрона, и поворачивает предел к Шикарону, проходит чрез гору Ваал и доходит до Иавнеила, и оканчивается предел у моря. Западный предел составляет великое море. |
| And the limit on the west is the edge of the Great Sea. This is the line going round the land marked out for the children of Judah, by their families. | Вот предел сынов Иудиных с племенами их со всех сторон. |
| And to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, he gave a part among the children of Judah, as the Lord had given orders to Joshua, that is, Kiriath-arba, named after Arba, the father of Anak which is Hebron. | И Халеву, сыну Иефонниину, [Иисус] дал часть среди сынов Иудиных, как повелел Господь Иисусу; Кириаф-Арбы, отца Енакова, иначе Хеврон. |
| And the three sons of Anak, Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai, the children of Anak, were forced out from there by Caleb. | И выгнал оттуда Халев трех сынов Енаковых: Шешая, Ахимана и Фалмая, детей Енаковых. |
| From there he went up against the people of Debir: (now the name of Debir before that was Kiriath-sepher.) | Отсюда пошел против жителей Давира (имя Давиру прежде [было] Кириаф-Сефер). |
| And Caleb said, I will give Achsah, my daughter, as wife to the man who overcomes Kiriath-sepher and takes it. | И сказал Халев: кто поразит Кириаф-Сефер и возьмет его, тому отдам Ахсу, дочь мою, в жену. |
| And Othniel, the son of Kenaz, Caleb's brother, took it: so he gave him his daughter Achsah for his wife. | И взял его Гофониил, сын Кеназа, брата Халевова, и отдал он в жену ему Ахсу, дочь свою. |
| Now when she came to him, he put into her mind the idea of requesting a field from her father: and she got down from her ass; and Caleb said to her, What is it? | Когда надлежало ей идти, ее научили просить у отца ее поле, и она сошла с осла. Халев сказал ей: что тебе? |
| And she said, Give me a blessing; because you have put me in dry south-land, now give me springs of water. So he gave her the higher spring and the lower spring. | Она сказала: дай мне благословение; ты дал мне землю полуденную, дай мне и источники вод. И дал он ей источники верхние и источники нижние. |
| This is the heritage of the tribe of Judah, by their families. | Вот удел колена сынов Иудиных, по племенам их: |
| The farthest towns of the tribe of Judah in the direction of the limits of Edom to the south, were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur; | города с края колена сынов Иудиных в смежности с Идумеею на юге были: Кавцеил, Едер и Иагур, |
| And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah; | Кина, Димона, Адада, |
| And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan; | Кедес, Асор и Ифнан, |
| Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth; | Зиф, Телем и Валоф, |
| And Hazor-hadattah, and Kerioth-hezron (which is Hazor); | Гацор-Хадафа, Кириаф, Хецрон, иначе Гацор, |
| Amam, and Shema, and Moladah; | Амам, Шема и Молада, |
| And Hazar-gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-pelet; | Хацар-Гадда, Хешмон и Веф-Палет, |
| And Hazar-shual, and Beer-sheba, and Biziothiah; | Хацар-Шуал, Вирсавия и Визиофея, |
| Baalah, and Iim, and Ezem; | Ваала, Иим и Ацем, |
| And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah; | Елфолад, Кесил и Хорма, |
| And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah; | Циклаг, Мадмана и Сансана, |
| And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon; all the towns are twenty-nine, with their unwalled places. | Леваоф, Шелихим, Аин и Риммон: всех двадцать девять городов с их селами. |
| In the lowland, Eshtaol, and Zorah, and Ashnah; | На низменных местах: Ештаол, Цора и Ашна, |
| And Zanoah, and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam; | Заноах, Ен-Ганним, Таппуах и Гаенам, |
| Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah; | Иармуф, Одоллам, Сохо и Азека, |
| And Shaaraim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen towns with their unwalled places. | Шаараим, Адифаим, Гедера или Гедерофаим: четырнадцать городов с их селами. |
| Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad; | Ценан, Хадаша, Мигдал-Гад, |
| And Dilan, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel; | Дилеан, Мицфе и Иокфеил, |
| Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon; | Лахис, Воцкаф и Еглон, |
| And Cabbon, and Lahmas, and Chithlish; | Хаббон, Лахмас и Хифлис, |
| And Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen towns with their unwalled places. | Гедероф, Беф-Дагон, Наема и Макед: шестнадцать городов с их селами. |
| Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan; | Ливна, Ефер и Ашан, |
| And Iphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib; | Иффах, Ашна и Нецив, |
| And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine towns with their unwalled places. | Кеила, Ахзив и Мареша: девять городов с их селами. |
| Ekron, with her daughter-towns and her unwalled places; | Екрон с зависящими от него [городами] и селами его, |
| From Ekron to the sea, all the towns by the side of Ashdod, with their unwalled places. | и от Екрона к морю все, что находится около Азота, с селами их, |
| Ashdod, with her daughter-towns and her unwalled places; Gaza, with her daughter-towns and her unwalled places, to the stream of Egypt, with the Great Sea as a limit. | Азот, зависящие от него города и села его, Газа, зависящие от нее города и села ее, до самого потока Египетского и великого моря, которое [есть] предел. |
| And in the hill-country, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh; | На горах: Шамир, Иаттир и Сохо, |
| And Dannah, and Kiriath-sannah (which is Debir); | Данна, Кириаф-Санна, иначе Давир, |
| And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim; | Анаф, Ештемо и Аним, |
| And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven towns with their unwalled places. | Гошен, Холон и Гило: одиннадцать городов с их селами. |
| Arab, and Dumah, and Eshan; | Арав, Дума и Ешан, |
| And Janim, and Beth-tappuah, and Aphekah; | Ианум, Беф-Таппуах и Афека, |
| And Humtah, and Kiriath-arba (which is Hebron), and Zior; nine towns with their unwalled places. | Хумта, Кириаф-Арбы, иначе Хеврон, и Цигор: девять городов с их селами. |
| Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Jutah; | Маон, Кармил, Зиф и Юта, |
| And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah; | Изреель, Иокдам и Заноах, |
| Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten towns with their unwalled places. | Каин, Гива и Фимна: десять городов с их селами. |
| Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor; | Халхул, Беф-Цур и Гедор, |
| And Maarath, and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon; six towns with their unwalled places. | Маараф, Беф-Аноф и Елтекон: шесть городов с их селами. |
| Kiriath-baal (which is Kiriath-jearim), and Rabbah; two towns with their unwalled places. | Кириаф-Ваал, иначе Кириаф-Иарим, и Аравва: два города с их селами. |
| In the waste land, Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah; | В пустыне: Беф-Арава, Миддин и Секаха, |
| And Nibshan, and the Town of Salt, and En-gedi; six towns with their unwalled places. | Нившан, Ир-Мелах и Ен-Геди: шесть городов с их селами. |
| And as for the Jebusites living in Jerusalem, the children of Judah were unable to make them go out; but the Jebusites are living with the children of Judah at Jerusalem, to this day. | Но Иевусеев, жителей Иерусалима, не могли изгнать сыны Иудины, и потому Иевусеи живут с сынами Иуды в Иерусалиме даже до сего дня. |
