Matthew 3:1 And in those days John the Baptist came preaching in the waste land of Judaea,	От Матфея 3:1 В те дни приходит Иоанн Креститель и проповедует в пустыне Иудейской
Matthew 3:2 Saying, Let your hearts be turned from sin; for the kingdom of heaven is near.	От Матфея 3:2 и говорит: покайтесь, ибо приблизилось Царство Небесное.
Matthew 3:3 For this is he of whom Isaiah the prophet said, The voice of one crying in the waste land, Make ready the way of the Lord, make his roads straight.	От Матфея 3:3 Ибо он тот, о котором сказал пророк Исаия: глас вопиющего в пустыне: приготовьте путь Господу, прямыми сделайте стези Ему.
Matthew 3:4 Now John was clothed in camel's hair, with a leather band about him; and his food was locusts and honey.	От Матфея 3:4 Сам же Иоанн имел одежду из верблюжьего волоса и пояс кожаный на чреслах своих, а пищею его были акриды и дикий мед.
Matthew 3:5 Then Jerusalem and all Judaea went out to him, and all the people from near Jordan;	От Матфея 3:5 Тогда Иерусалим и вся Иудея и вся окрестность Иорданская выходили к нему
Matthew 3:6 And they were given baptism by him in the river Jordan, saying openly that they had done wrong.	От Матфея 3:6 и крестились от него в Иордане, исповедуя грехи свои.
Matthew 3:7 But when he saw a number of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, Offspring of snakes, at whose word are you going in flight from the wrath to come?	От Матфея 3:7 Увидев же Иоанн многих фарисеев и саддукеев, идущих к нему креститься, сказал им: порождения ехиднины! кто внушил вам бежать от будущего гнева?
Matthew 3:8 Let your change of heart be seen in your works:	От Матфея 3:8 сотворите же достойный плод покаяния
Matthew 3:9 And say not to yourselves, We have Abraham for our father; because I say to you that God is able from these stones to make children for Abraham.	От Матфея 3:9 и не думайте говорить в себе: `отец у нас Авраам`, ибо говорю вам, что Бог может из камней сих воздвигнуть детей Аврааму.
Matthew 3:10 And even now the axe is put to the root of the trees; every tree then which does not give good fruit is cut down, and put into the fire.	От Матфея 3:10 Уже и секира при корне дерев лежит: всякое дерево, не приносящее доброго плода, срубают и бросают в огонь.
Matthew 3:11 Truly, I give baptism with water to those of you whose hearts are changed; but he who comes after me is greater than I, whose shoes I am not good enough to take up: he will give you baptism with the Holy Spirit and with fire:	От Матфея 3:11 Я крещу вас в воде в покаяние, но Идущий за мною сильнее меня; я не достоин понести обувь Его; Он будет крестить вас Духом Святым и огнем;
Matthew 3:12 In whose hand is the instrument with which he will make clean his grain; he will put the good grain in his store, but the waste will be burned up in the fire which will never be put out.	От Матфея 3:12 лопата Его в руке Его, и Он очистит гумно Свое и соберет пшеницу Свою в житницу, а солому сожжет огнем неугасимым.
Matthew 3:13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan, to be given baptism by him.	От Матфея 3:13 Тогда приходит Иисус из Галилеи на Иордан к Иоанну креститься от него.
Matthew 3:14 But John would have kept him back, saying, It is I who have need of baptism from you, and do you come to me?	От Матфея 3:14 Иоанн же удерживал Его и говорил: мне надобно креститься от Тебя, и Ты ли приходишь ко мне?
Matthew 3:15 But Jesus made answer, saying to him, Let it be so now: because so it is right for us to make righteousness complete. Then he gave him baptism.	От Матфея 3:15 Но Иисус сказал ему в ответ: оставь теперь, ибо так надлежит нам исполнить всякую правду. Тогда [Иоанн] допускает Его.
Matthew 3:16 And Jesus, having been given baptism, straight away went up from the water; and, the heavens opening, he saw the Spirit of God coming down on him as a dove;	От Матфея 3:16 И, крестившись, Иисус тотчас вышел из воды, --и се, отверзлись Ему небеса, и увидел [Иоанн] Духа Божия, Который сходил, как голубь, и ниспускался на Него.
Matthew 3:17 And a voice came out of heaven, saying, This is my dearly loved Son, with whom I am well pleased.	От Матфея 3:17 И се, глас с небес глаголющий: Сей есть Сын Мой возлюбленный, в Котором Мое благоволение.
