Numbers 13:1 And the Lord said to Moses,	Числа 13:1 И сказал Господь Моисею, говоря:
Numbers 13:2 Send men to get knowledge about the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from every tribe of their fathers you are to send a man, every one a chief among them.	Числа 13:2 пошли от себя людей, чтобы они высмотрели землю Ханаанскую, которую Я даю сынам Израилевым; по одному человеку от колена отцов их пошлите, главных из них.
Numbers 13:3 And Moses sent them from the waste land of Paran as the Lord gave orders, all of them men who were heads of the children of Israel.	Числа 13:3 И послал их Моисей из пустыни Фаран, по повелению Господню, и все они мужи главные у сынов Израилевых.
Numbers 13:4 And these were their names: of the tribe of Reuben, Shammua, the son of Zaccur.	Числа 13:4 Вот имена их: из колена Рувимова Саммуа, сын Закхуров,
Numbers 13:5 Of the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat, the son of Hori.	Числа 13:5 из колена Симеонова Сафат, сын Хориев,
Numbers 13:6 Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.	Числа 13:6 из колена Иудина Халев, сын Иефонниин,
Numbers 13:7 Of the tribe of Issachar, Igal, the son of Joseph.	Числа 13:7 из колена Иссахарова Игал, сын Иосифов,
Numbers 13:8 Of the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea, the son of Nun.	Числа 13:8 из колена Ефремова Осия, сын Навин,
Numbers 13:9 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Palti, the son of Raphu.	Числа 13:9 из колена Вениаминова Фалтий, сын Рафуев,
Numbers 13:10 Of the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel, the son of Sodi.	Числа 13:10 из колена Завулонова Гаддиил, сын Содиев,
Numbers 13:11 Of the tribe of Joseph, that is of the family of Manasseh, Gaddi, the son of Susi.	Числа 13:11 из колена Иосифова от Манассии Гаддий, сын Сусиев,
Numbers 13:12 Of the tribe of Dan, Ammiel, the son of Gemalli.	Числа 13:12 из колена Данова Аммиил, сын Гемаллиев,
Numbers 13:13 Of the tribe of Asher, Sethur, the son of Michael	Числа 13:13 из колена Асирова Сефур, сын Михаилев,
Numbers 13:14 Of the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi, the son of Vophsi.	Числа 13:14 из колена Неффалимова Нахбий, сын Вофсиев,
Numbers 13:15 Of the tribe of Gad, Gevel, the son of Machi.	Числа 13:15 из колена Гадова Геуил, сын Махиев.
Numbers 13:16 These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to get knowledge about the land. And Moses gave to Hoshea, the son of Nun, the name of Joshua.	Числа 13:16 Вот имена мужей, которых посылал Моисей высмотреть землю. И назвал Моисей Осию, сына Навина, Иисусом.
Numbers 13:17 So Moses sent them to have a look at the land of Canaan, and said to them, Go up into the South and into the hill-country;	Числа 13:17 И послал их Моисей высмотреть землю Ханаанскую и сказал им: пойдите в эту южную страну, и взойдите на гору,
Numbers 13:18 And see what the land is like; and if the people living in it are strong or feeble, small or great in number;	Числа 13:18 и осмотрите землю, какова она, и народ живущий на ней, силен ли он или слаб, малочислен ли он или многочислен?
Numbers 13:19 And what sort of land they are living in, if it is good or bad; and what their living-places are, tent-circles or walled towns;	Числа 13:19 и какова земля, на которой он живет, хороша ли она или худа? и каковы города, в которых он живет, в шатрах ли он живет или в укреплениях?
Numbers 13:20 And if the land is fertile or poor, and if there is wood in it or not. And be of good heart, and come back with some of the produce of the land. Now it was the time when the first grapes were ready.	Числа 13:20 и какова земля, тучна ли она или тоща? есть ли на [ней] дерева или нет? будьте смелы, и возьмите от плодов земли. Было же это ко времени созревания винограда.
Numbers 13:21 So they went up and got a view of the land, from the waste land of Zin to Rehob, on the way to Hamath.	Числа 13:21 Они пошли и высмотрели землю от пустыни Син даже до Рехова, близ Емафа;
Numbers 13:22 They went up into the South and came to Hebron; and Ahiman and Sheshai and Talmai, the children of Anak, were living there. (Now the building of Hebron took place seven years before that of Zoan in Egypt.)	Числа 13:22 и пошли в южную страну, и дошли до Хеврона, где жили Ахиман, Сесай и Фалмай, дети Енаковы: Хеврон же построен был семью годами прежде Цоана, [города] Египетского;
Numbers 13:23 And they came to the valley of Eshcol, and cutting down a vine-branch with its grapes, two of them took it on a rod between them; and they took some pomegranates and figs.	Числа 13:23 и пришли к долине Есхол, и срезали там виноградную ветвь с одною кистью ягод, и понесли ее на шесте двое; [взяли] также гранатовых яблок и смокв;
Numbers 13:24 That place was named the valley of Eshcol because of the grapes which the children of Israel took from there.	Числа 13:24 место сие назвали долиною Есхол, по причине виноградной кисти, которую срезали там сыны Израилевы.
Numbers 13:25 At the end of forty days they came back from viewing the land.	Числа 13:25 И высмотрев землю, возвратились они через сорок дней.
Numbers 13:26 And they came back to Moses and Aaron and all the children of Israel, to Kadesh in the waste land of Paran; and gave an account to them and to all the people and let them see the produce of the land.	Числа 13:26 И пошли и пришли к Моисею и Аарону и ко всему обществу сынов Израилевых в пустыню Фаран, в Кадес, и принесли им и всему обществу ответ, и показали им плоды земли;
Numbers 13:27 And they said, We came to the land where you sent us, and truly it is flowing with milk and honey: and here is some of the produce of it.	Числа 13:27 и рассказывали ему и говорили: мы ходили в землю, в которую ты посылал нас; в ней подлинно течет молоко и мед, и вот плоды ее;
Numbers 13:28 But the people living in the land are strong, and the towns are walled and very great; further, we saw the children of Anak there.	Числа 13:28 но народ, живущий на земле той, силен, и города укрепленные, весьма большие, и сынов Енаковых мы видели там;
Numbers 13:29 And the Amalekites are in the South; and the Hittites and the Jebusites and the Amorites are living in the hill-country; and the Canaanites by the sea and by the side of Jordan.	Числа 13:29 Амалик живет на южной части земли, Хеттеи, Иевусеи и Аморреи живут на горе, Хананеи же живут при море и на берегу Иордана.
Numbers 13:30 Then Caleb made signs to the people to keep quiet, and said to Moses, Let us go up straight away and take this land; for we are well able to overcome it.	Числа 13:30 Но Халев успокаивал народ пред Моисеем, говоря: пойдем и завладеем ею, потому что мы можем одолеть ее.
Numbers 13:31 But the men who had gone up with him said, We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.	Числа 13:31 А те, которые ходили с ним, говорили: не можем мы идти против народа сего, ибо он сильнее нас.
Numbers 13:32 And they gave the children of Israel a bad account of the land they had been to see, saying, This land through which we went is a land causing destruction to those living in it; and all the people we saw there are men of more than common size.	Числа 13:32 И распускали худую молву о земле, которую они осматривали, между сынами Израилевыми, говоря: земля, которую проходили мы для осмотра, есть земля, поедающая живущих на ней, и весь народ, который видели мы среди ее, люди великорослые;
Numbers 13:33 There we saw those great men, the sons of Anak, offspring of the Nephilim: and we seemed to ourselves no more than insects, and so we seemed to them.	Числа 13:33 там видели мы и исполинов, сынов Енаковых, от исполинского рода; и мы были в глазах наших [пред ними], как саранча, такими же были мы и в глазах их.
