Acts 11	Hechos 11
Acts 11:1 Now the Apostles and the brothers who were in Judaea had news that the word of God had been given to the Gentiles.	Hechos 11:1 Y OYERON los apóstoles y los hermanos que estaban en Judea, que también los Gentiles habían recibido la palabra de Dios.
Acts 11:2 And when Peter came to Jerusalem, those who kept the rule of circumcision had an argument with him,	Hechos 11:2 Y como Pedro subió á Jerusalem, contendían contra él los que eran de la circuncisión,
Acts 11:3 Saying, You went to men without circumcision, and took food with them.	Hechos 11:3 Diciendo: ¿Por qué has entrado á hombres incircuncisos, y has comido con ellos?
Acts 11:4 But Peter gave them an account of it all in order, saying to them,	Hechos 11:4 Entonces comenzando Pedro, les declaró por orden lo pasado, diciendo:
Acts 11:5 I was in the town of Joppa, at prayer: and falling into a deep sleep, I saw in a vision a vessel like a great cloth let down from heaven, and it came down to me:	Hechos 11:5 Estaba yo en la ciudad de Joppe orando, y vi en rapto de entendimiento una visión: un vaso, como un gran lienzo, que descendía, que por los cuatro cabos era abajado del cielo, y venía hasta mí.
Acts 11:6 And looking on it with attention I saw in it all sorts of beasts and birds.	Hechos 11:6 En el cual como puse los ojos, consideré y vi animales terrestres de cuatro pies, y fieras, y reptiles, y aves del cielo.
Acts 11:7 And a voice came to my ears saying, Come, Peter; take them for food.	Hechos 11:7 Y oí una voz que me decía: Levántate, Pedro, mata y come.
Acts 11:8 But I said, No, Lord; for nothing common or unclean has ever come into my mouth.	Hechos 11:8 Y dije: Señor, no; porque ninguna cosa común ó inmunda entró jamás en mi boca.
Acts 11:9 But the voice, coming a second time from heaven, said, What God has made clean, do not you make common.	Hechos 11:9 Entonces la voz me respondió del cielo segunda vez: Lo que Dios limpió, no lo llames tú común.
Acts 11:10 And this was done three times, and they were all taken up again into heaven.	Hechos 11:10 Y esto fué hecho por tres veces: y volvió todo á ser tomado arriba en el cielo.
Acts 11:11 And at that minute, three men, sent from Caesarea, came to the house where we were.	Hechos 11:11 Y he aquí, luego sobrevinieron tres hombres á la casa donde yo estaba, enviados á mí de Cesarea.
Acts 11:12 And the Spirit gave me orders to go with them, doubting nothing. And these six brothers came with me; and we went into that man's house:	Hechos 11:12 Y el Espíritu me dijo que fuese con ellos sin dudar. Y vinieron también conmigo estos seis hermanos, y entramos en casa de un varón,
Acts 11:13 And he gave us an account of how he had seen the angel in his house, saying, Send to Joppa, and get Simon, named Peter, to come to you;	Hechos 11:13 El cual nos contó cómo había visto un ángel en su casa, que se paró, y le dijo: Envía á Joppe, y haz venir á un Simón que tiene por sobrenombre Pedro;
Acts 11:14 Who will say words to you through which you and all your family may get salvation.	Hechos 11:14 El cual te hablará palabras por las cuales serás salvo tu, y toda tu casa.
Acts 11:15 And, while I was talking to them, the Holy Spirit came on them, as on us at first.	Hechos 11:15 Y como comencé á hablar, cayó el Espíritu Santo sobre ellos también, como sobre nosotros al principio.
Acts 11:16 And the words of the Lord came into my mind, how he said, The baptism of John was with water, but you will have baptism with the Holy Spirit.	Hechos 11:16 Entonces me acordé del dicho del Señor, como dijo: Juan ciertamente bautizó en agua; mas vosotros seréis bautizados en Espíritu Santo.
Acts 11:17 If then God gave them, when they had faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the same as he gave to us, who was I to go against God?	Hechos 11:17 Así que, si Dios les dió el mismo don también como á nosotros que hemos creído en el Señor Jesucristo, ¿quién era yo que pudiese estorbar á Dios?
Acts 11:18 And hearing these things they said nothing more, but gave glory to God, saying, Then to the Gentiles as to us has God given a change of heart, so that they may have life.	Hechos 11:18 Entonces, oídas estas cosas, callaron, y glorificaron á Dios, diciendo: De manera que también á los Gentiles ha dado Dios arrepentimiento para vida.
Acts 11:19 Then those who had gone away at the time of the trouble about Stephen, went as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus, preaching to the Jews only.	Hechos 11:19 Y los que habían sido esparcidos por causa de la tribulación que sobrevino en tiempo de Esteban, anduvieron hasta Fenicia, y Cipro, y Antioquía, no hablando á nadie la palabra, sino sólo á los Judíos.
Acts 11:20 But some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, when they came to Antioch, gave the good news about the Lord Jesus to the Greeks.	Hechos 11:20 Y de ellos había unos varones Ciprios y Cirenences, los cuales como entraron en Antioquía, hablaron á los Griegos, anunciando el evangelio del Señor Jesús.
Acts 11:21 And the power of the Lord was with them, and a great number had faith and were turned to the Lord.	Hechos 11:21 Y la mano del Señor era con ellos: y creyendo, gran número se convirtió al Señor.
Acts 11:22 And news of them came to the ears of the church at Jerusalem: and they sent Barnabas as far as Antioch:	Hechos 11:22 Y llegó la fama de estas cosas á oídos de la iglesia que estaba en Jerusalem: y enviaron á Bernabé que fuese hasta Antioquía.
Acts 11:23 Who, when he came and saw the grace of God, was glad; and he made clear to them the need of keeping near the Lord with all the strength of their hearts:	Hechos 11:23 El cual, como llegó, y vió la gracia de Dios, regocijóse; y exhortó á todos á que permaneciesen en el propósito del corazón en el Señor.
Acts 11:24 For he was a good man and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith: and a great number were joined to the Lord.	Hechos 11:24 Porque era varón bueno, y lleno de Espíritu Santo y de fe: y mucha compañía fué agregada al Señor.
Acts 11:25 Then he went on to Tarsus, looking for Saul;	Hechos 11:25 Después partió Bernabé á Tarso á buscar á Saulo; y hallado, le trajo á Antioquía.
Acts 11:26 And when he had come across him, he took him to Antioch. And they were with the church there for a year, teaching the people; and the disciples were first given the name of Christians in Antioch.	Hechos 11:26 Y conversaron todo un año allí con la iglesia, y enseñaron á mucha gente; y los discípulos fueron llamados Cristianos primeramente en Antioquía.
Acts 11:27 Now in those days prophets came from Jerusalem to Antioch.	Hechos 11:27 Y en aquellos días descendieron de Jerusalem profetas á Antioquía.
Acts 11:28 And one of them, named Agabus, said publicly through the Spirit that there would be serious need of food all over the earth: which came about in the time of Claudius.	Hechos 11:28 Y levantándose uno de ellos, llamado Agabo, daba á entender por Espíritu, que había de haber una grande hambre en toda la tierra habitada: la cual hubo en tiempo de Claudio.
Acts 11:29 And the disciples, everyone as he was able, made a decision to send help to the brothers living in Judaea:	Hechos 11:29 Entonces los discípulos, cada uno conforme á lo que tenía, determinaron enviar subsidio á los hermanos que habitaban en Judea:
Acts 11:30 Which they did, sending it to the rulers of the church by the hand of Barnabas and Saul.	Hechos 11:30 Lo cual asimismo hicieron, enviándolo á los ancianos por mano de Bernabé y de Saulo.
