Ezekiel 33:1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,	Ezequiel 33:1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
Ezekiel 33:2 Son of man, give a word to the children of your people, and say to them, When I make the sword come on a land, if the people of the land take a man from among their number and make him their watchman:	Ezequiel 33:2 Hijo del hombre, habla á los hijos de tu pueblo, y diles: Cuando trajere yo espada sobre la tierra, y el pueblo de la tierra tomare un hombre de sus términos, y se lo pusiere por atalaya,
Ezekiel 33:3 If, when he sees the sword coming on the land, by sounding the horn he gives the people news of their danger;	Ezequiel 33:3 Y él viere venir la espada sobre la tierra, y tocare corneta, y avisare al pueblo;
Ezekiel 33:4 Then anyone who, hearing the sound of the horn, does not take note of it, will himself be responsible for his death, if the sword comes and takes him away.	Ezequiel 33:4 Cualquiera que oyere el sonido de la corneta, y no se apercibiere, y viniendo la espada lo tomare, su sangre será sobre su cabeza.
Ezekiel 33:5 On hearing the sound of the horn, he did not take note; his blood will be on him; for if he had taken note his life would have been safe.	Ezequiel 33:5 El sonido de la corneta oyó, y no se apercibió; su sangre será sobre él: mas el que se apercibiere, librará su vida.
Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming, and does not give a note on the horn, and the people have no word of the danger, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them; he will be taken away in his sin, but I will make the watchman responsible for his blood.	Ezequiel 33:6 Pero si el atalaya viere venir la espada, y no tocare la corneta, y el pueblo no se apercibiere, y viniendo la espada, tomare de él alguno; por causa de su pecado fué tomado, mas demandaré su sangre de mano del atalaya.
Ezekiel 33:7 So you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the children of Israel; and you are to give ear to the word of my mouth and give them news from me of their danger.	Ezequiel 33:7 Tú pues, hijo del hombre, yo te he puesto por atalaya á la casa de Israel, y oirás la palabra de mi boca, y los apercibirás de mi parte.
Ezekiel 33:8 When I say to the evil-doer, Death will certainly overtake you; and you say nothing to make clear to the evil-doer the danger of his way; death will overtake that evil man in his evil-doing, but I will make you responsible for his blood.	Ezequiel 33:8 Diciendo yo al impío: Impío, de cierto morirás; si tú no hablares para que se guarde el impío de su camino, el impío morirá por su pecado, mas su sangre yo la demandaré de tu mano.
Ezekiel 33:9 But if you make clear to the evil-doer the danger of his way for the purpose of turning him from it, and he is not turned from his way, death will overtake him in his evil-doing, but your life will be safe.	Ezequiel 33:9 Y si tú avisares al impío de su camino para que de él se aparte, y él no se apartare de su camino, por su pecado morirá él, y tú libraste tu vida.
Ezekiel 33:10 And you, son of man, say to the children of Israel, You say, Our wrongdoing and our sins are on us and we are wasting away in them; how then may we have life?	Ezequiel 33:10 Tú pues, hijo del hombre, di á la casa de Israel: Vosotros habéis hablado así, diciendo: Nuestras rebeliones y nuestros pecados están sobre nosotros, y á causa de ellos somos consumidos: ¿cómo pues viviremos?
Ezekiel 33:11 Say to them, By my life, says the Lord, I have no pleasure in the death of the evil-doer; it is more pleasing to me if he is turned from his way and has life: be turned, be turned from your evil ways; why are you looking for death, O children of Israel?	Ezequiel 33:11 Diles: Vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, que no quiero la muerte del impío, sino que se torne el impío de su camino, y que viva. Volveos, volveos de vuestros caminos: ¿y por qué moriréis, oh casa de Israel?
Ezekiel 33:12 And you, son of man, say to the children of your people, The righteousness of the upright man will not make him safe in the day when he does wrong; and the evil-doing of the evil man will not be the cause of his fall in the day when he is turned from his evil-doing; and the upright man will not have life because of his righteousness in the day when he does evil.	Ezequiel 33:12 Y tú, hijo del hombre, di á los hijos de tu pueblo: La justicia del justo no lo librará el día que se rebelare; y la impiedad del impío no le será estorbo el día que se volviere de su impiedad; y el justo no podrá vivir por su justicia el día que pecare.
Ezekiel 33:13 When I say to the upright that life will certainly be his; if he puts his faith in his righteousness and does evil, not one of his upright acts will be kept in memory; but in the evil he has done, death will overtake him.	Ezequiel 33:13 Diciendo yo al justo: De cierto vivirá, y él confiado en su justicia hiciere iniquidad, todas sus justicias no vendrán en memoria, sino que morirá por su iniquidad que hizo.
Ezekiel 33:14 And when I say to the evil-doer, Death will certainly be your fate; if he is turned from his sin and does what is ordered and right;	Ezequiel 33:14 Y diciendo yo al impío: De cierto morirás; si él se volviere de su pecado, é hiciere juicio y justicia,
Ezekiel 33:15 If the evil-doer lets one who is in his debt have back what is his, and gives back what he had taken by force, and is guided by the rules of life, doing no evil; life will certainly be his, death will not overtake him.	Ezequiel 33:15 Si el impío restituyere la prenda, devolviere lo que hubiere robado, caminare en las ordenanzas de la vida, no haciendo iniquidad, vivirá ciertamente y no morirá.
Ezekiel 33:16 Not one of the sins which he has done will be kept in mind against him: he has done what is ordered and right, life will certainly be his.	Ezequiel 33:16 No se le recordará ninguno de sus pecados que había cometido: hizo juicio y justicia; vivirá ciertamente.
Ezekiel 33:17 But the children of your people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: when it is they whose way is not equal.	Ezequiel 33:17 Luego dirán los hijos de tu pueblo: No es recta la vía del Señor: la vía de ellos es la que no es recta.
Ezekiel 33:18 When the upright man, turning away from his righteousness, does evil, death will overtake him in it.	Ezequiel 33:18 Cuando el justo se apartare de su justicia, é hiciere iniquidad, morirá por ello.
Ezekiel 33:19 And when the evil man, turning away from his evil-doing, does what is ordered and right, he will get life by it.	Ezequiel 33:19 Y cuando el impío se apartare de su impiedad, é hiciere juicio y justicia, vivirá por ello.
Ezekiel 33:20 And still you say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O children of Israel, I will be your judge, giving to everyone the reward of his ways.	Ezequiel 33:20 Y dijisteis: No es recta la vía del Señor. Yo os juzgaré, oh casa de Israel, á cada uno conforme á sus caminos.
Ezekiel 33:21 Now in the twelfth year after we had been taken away prisoners, in the tenth month, on the fifth day of the month, one who had got away in flight from Jerusalem came to me, saying, The town has been taken.	Ezequiel 33:21 Y aconteció en el año duodécimo de nuestro cautiverio, en el mes décimo, á los cinco del mes, que vino á mí un escapado de Jerusalem, diciendo: La ciudad ha sido herida.
Ezekiel 33:22 Now the hand of the Lord had been on me in the evening, before the man who had got away came to me; and he made my mouth open, ready for his coming to me in the morning; and my mouth was open and I was no longer without voice.	Ezequiel 33:22 Y la mano de Jehová había sido sobre mí la tarde antes que el escapado viniese, y había abierto mi boca, hasta que vino á mí por la mañana; y abrió mi boca, y no más estuve callado.
Ezekiel 33:23 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,	Ezequiel 33:23 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
Ezekiel 33:24 Son of man, those who are living in these waste places in the land of Israel say, Abraham was but one, and he had land for his heritage: but we are a great number; the land is given to us for our heritage.	Ezequiel 33:24 Hijo del hombre, los que habitan aquellos desiertos en la tierra de Israel, hablando dicen: Abraham era uno, y poseyó la tierra: pues nosotros somos muchos; á nosotros es dada la tierra en posesión.
Ezekiel 33:25 For this cause say to them, This is what the Lord has said: You take your meat with the blood, your eyes are lifted up to your images, and you are takers of life: are you to have the land for your heritage?	Ezequiel 33:25 Por tanto, diles: Así dicho el Señor Jehová: ¿Con sangre comeréis, y á vuestros ídolos alzaréis vuestros ojos, y sangre derramaréis, y poseeréis vosotros la tierra?
Ezekiel 33:26 You put your faith in your swords, you do disgusting things, everyone takes his neighbour's wife: are you to have the land for your heritage?	Ezequiel 33:26 Estuvisteis sobre vuestras espadas, hicisteis abominación, y contaminasteis cada cual la mujer de su prójimo: ¿y habréis de poseer la tierra?
Ezekiel 33:27 This is what you are to say to them: The Lord has said, By my life, truly, those who are in the waste places will be put to the sword, and him who is in the open field I will give to the beasts for their food, and those who are in the strong places and in holes in the rocks will come to their death by disease.	Ezequiel 33:27 Les dirás así: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Vivo yo, que los que están en aquellos asolamientos caerán á cuchillo, y al que está sobre la haz del campo entregaré á las bestias que lo devoren; y los que están en las fortalezas y en las cuevas, de pestilencia morirán.
Ezekiel 33:28 And I will make the land a waste and a cause of wonder, and the pride of her strength will come to an end; and the mountains of Israel will be made waste so that no one will go through.	Ezequiel 33:28 Y pondré la tierra en desierto y en soledad, y cesará la soberbia de su fortaleza; y los montes de Israel serán asolados, que no haya quien pase.
Ezekiel 33:29 Then they will be certain that I am the Lord, when I have made the land a waste and a cause of wonder, because of all the disgusting things which they have done,	Ezequiel 33:29 Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando pusiere la tierra en soledad y desierto, por todas las abominaciones que han hecho.
Ezekiel 33:30 And as for you, son of man, the children of your people are talking together about you by the walls and in the doorways of the houses, saying to one another, Come now, give ear to the word which comes from the Lord.	Ezequiel 33:30 Y tú, hijo del hombre, los hijos de tu pueblo se mofan de ti junto á las paredes y á las puertas de las casas, y habla el uno con el otro, cada uno con su hermano, diciendo: Venid ahora, y oid qué palabra sale de Jehová.
Ezekiel 33:31 And they come to you as my people come, and are seated before you as my people, hearing your words but doing them not: for deceit is in their mouth and their heart goes after profit for themselves.	Ezequiel 33:31 Y vendrán á ti como viene el pueblo, y se estarán delante de ti como mi pueblo, y oirán tus palabras, y no las pondrán por obra: antes hacen halagos con sus bocas, y el corazón de ellos anda en pos de su avaricia.
Ezekiel 33:32 And truly you are to them like a love song by one who has a very pleasing voice and is an expert player on an instrument: for they give ear to your words but do them not.	Ezequiel 33:32 Y he aquí que tú eres á ellos como cantor de amores, gracioso de voz y que canta bien: y oirán tus palabras, mas no las pondrán por obra.
Ezekiel 33:33 And when this comes about (see, it is coming), then it will be clear to them that a prophet has been among them.	Ezequiel 33:33 Empero cuando ello viniere (he aquí viene) sabrán que hubo profeta entre ellos.
