Ezra 5:1 Now the prophets Haggai and Zechariah, the son of Iddo, were preaching to the Jews in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel.	Esdras 5:1 Y Profetizaron Haggeo profeta, y Zacarías hijo de Iddo, profetas, á los Judíos que estaba en Judá y en Jerusalem yendo en nombre del Dios de Israel á ellos.
Ezra 5:2 Then Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, got up and made a start at building the house of God at Jerusalem: and the prophets of God were with them, helping them.	Esdras 5:2 Entonces se levantaron Zorobabel hijo de Sealthiel, y Jesuá hijo de Josadec; y comenzaron á edificar la casa de Dios que estaba en Jerusalem; y con ellos los profetas de Dios que les ayudaban.
Ezra 5:3 At the same time, Tattenai, ruler of the land across the river, and Shethar-bozenai, and their men, came to them and said, Who gave you orders to go on building this house and this wall?	Esdras 5:3 En aquel tiempo vino á ellos Tatnai, capitán de la parte allá del río, y Setharboznai y sus compañeros, y dijéronles así: ¿Quién os dió mandamiento para edificar esta casa, y restablecer estos muros?
Ezra 5:4 Then they said these words to them: What are the names of the men who are at work on this building?	Esdras 5:4 Entonces les dijimos en orden á esto cuáles eran los nombres de los varones que edificaban este edificio.
Ezra 5:5 But the eye of their God was on the chiefs of the Jews, and they did not make them give up working till the question had been put before Darius and an answer had come by letter about it.	Esdras 5:5 Mas los ojos de su Dios fueron sobre los ancianos de los Judíos, y no les hicieron cesar hasta que el negocio viniese á Darío: y entonces respondieron por carta sobre esto.
Ezra 5:6 This is a copy of the letter which Tattenai, the ruler of the land across the river, and Shethar-bozenai and his friends the Apharsachites, living across the river, sent to Darius the king:	Esdras 5:6 Traslado de la carta que Tatnai, capitán de la parte allá del río, y Sethar-boznai, y sus compañeros los Apharsachêos, que estaban á la parte allá del río, enviaron al rey Darío.
Ezra 5:7 They sent him a letter saying, To Darius the king, all peace:	Esdras 5:7 Enviáronle carta, y de esta manera estaba escrito en ella. Al rey Darío toda paz.
Ezra 5:8 This is to give the king word that we went into the land of Judah, to the house of the great God, which is made of great stones, and has its walls supported with wood, and the work is going on with industry, and they are doing it well.	Esdras 5:8 Sea notorio al rey, que fuimos á la provincia de Judea, á la casa del gran Dios, la cual se edifica de piedra de mármol; y los maderos son puestos en las paredes, y la obra se hace apriesa, y prospera en sus manos.
Ezra 5:9 Then we said to the men responsible, who gave you authority for the building of this house and these walls?	Esdras 5:9 Entonces preguntamos á los ancianos, diciéndoles así: ¿Quién os dió mandameinto para edificar esta casa, y para restablecer estos muros?
Ezra 5:10 And we made request for their names, so that we might send you word, and give you the names of the men at the head of them.	Esdras 5:10 Y también les preguntamos sus nombres para hacértelo saber, para escribir te los nombres de los varones que estaban por cabezas de ellos.
Ezra 5:11 And they made answer to us, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are building the house which was put up in times long past and was designed and made complete by a great king of Israel.	Esdras 5:11 Y respondiéronnos, diciendo así: Nosotros somos siervos de Dios del cielo y de la tierra, y reedificamos la casa que ya muchos años antes había sido edificada, la cual edificó y fundó el gran rey de Israel.
Ezra 5:12 But when the God of heaven was moved to wrath by our fathers, he gave them up into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, the Chaldaean, who sent destruction on this house and took the people away into Babylon.	Esdras 5:12 Mas después que nuestros padres ensañaron al Dios de los cielos, él los entregó en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, Caldeo, el cual destruyó esta casa, é hizo trasportar el pueblo á Babilonia.
Ezra 5:13 But in the first year of Cyrus, king of Babylon, Cyrus the king gave an order for the building of this house of God;	Esdras 5:13 Empero el primer año de Ciro rey de Babilonia, el mismo rey Ciro dió mandamiento para que esta casa de Dios fuese edificada.
Ezra 5:14 And the gold and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took from the Temple which was in Jerusalem, and put into the house of his god in Babylon, these Cyrus the king took from the house of his god in Babylon, and gave to one named Sheshbazzar, whom he had made ruler;	Esdras 5:14 Y también los vasos de oro y de plata de la casa de Dios, que Nabucodonosor había sacado del templo que estaba en Jerusalem, y los había metido en el templo de Babilonia, el rey Ciro los sacó del templo de Babilonia, y fueron entregados á Sesbassar, al cual había puesto por gobernador;
Ezra 5:15 And he said to him, Go, take these vessels, and put them in the Temple in Jerusalem, and let the house of God be put up again in its place.	Esdras 5:15 Y le dijo: Toma estos vasos, ve y ponlos en el templo que está en Jerusalem; y la casa de Dios sea edificada en su lugar.
Ezra 5:16 Then this same Sheshbazzar came and put the house of God in Jerusalem on its bases: and from that time till now the building has been going on, but it is still not complete.	Esdras 5:16 Entonces este Sesbassar vino, y puso los fundamentos de la casa de Dios que estaba en Jerusalem, y desde entonces hasta ahora se edifica, y aun no está acabada.
Ezra 5:17 So now, if it seems good to the king, let search be made in the king's store-house at Babylon, to see if it is true that an order was given by Cyrus the king for the building of this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send us word of his pleasure in connection with this business.	Esdras 5:17 Y ahora, si al rey parece bien, búsquese en la casa de los tesoros del rey que está allí en Babilonia, si es así que por el rey Ciro había sido dado mandamiento para edificar esta casa de Dios en Jerusalem, y envíenos á decir la voluntad del rey sobre esto.
