Hebrews 7:1 For this Melchizedek, the king of Salem, a priest of the Most High God, who gave Abraham his blessing, meeting him when he came back after putting the kings to death,	Hebreos 7:1 PORQUE este Melchîsedec, rey de Salem, sacerdote del Dios Altísimo, el cual salió á recibir á Abraham que volvía de la derrota de los reyes, y le bendijo,
Hebrews 7:2 And to whom Abraham gave a tenth part of everything which he had, being first named King of righteousness, and then in addition, King of Salem, that is to say, King of peace;	Hebreos 7:2 Al cual asimismo dió Abraham los diezmos de todo, primeramente él se interpreta Rey de justicia; y luego también Rey de Salem, que es, Rey de paz;
Hebrews 7:3 Being without father or mother, or family, having no birth or end to his life, being made like the Son of God, is a priest for ever.	Hebreos 7:3 Sin padre, sin madre, sin linaje; que ni tiene principio de días, ni fin de vida, mas hecho semejante al Hijo de Dios, permanece sacerdote para siempre.
Hebrews 7:4 Now see how great this man was, to whom our father Abraham gave a tenth part of what he had got in the fight.	Hebreos 7:4 Mirad pues cuán grande fué éste, al cual aun Abraham el patriarca dió diezmos de los despojos.
Hebrews 7:5 And it is true that by the law, those of the sons of Levi who have the position of priests may take a tenth part of the people's goods; that is to say, they take it from their brothers though these are the sons of Abraham.	Hebreos 7:5 Y ciertamente los que de los hijos de Leví toman el sacerdocio, tienen mandamiento de tomar del pueblo los diezmos según la ley, es á saber, de sus hermanos aunque también hayan salido de los lomos de Abraham.
Hebrews 7:6 But this man, who was not of their family, took the tenth from Abraham, and gave a blessing to him to whom God had given his undertaking.	Hebreos 7:6 Mas aquél cuya genealogía no es contada de ellos, tomó de Abraham los diezmos, y bendijo al que tenía las promesas.
Hebrews 7:7 But there is no doubt that the less gets his blessing from the greater.	Hebreos 7:7 Y sin contradicción alguna, lo que es menos es bendecido de lo que es más.
Hebrews 7:8 Now at the present time, men over whom death has power take the tenth; but then it was taken by one of whom it is witnessed that he is living.	Hebreos 7:8 Y aquí ciertamente los hombres mortales toman los diezmos: mas allí, aquel del cual está dado testimonio que vive.
Hebrews 7:9 And we may say that in Abraham, even Levi, who has a right to take the tenth part, gave it;	Hebreos 7:9 Y, por decirlo así, en Abraham fué diezmado también Leví, que recibe los diezmos;
Hebrews 7:10 Because he was still in his father's body when Melchizedek came to him.	Hebreos 7:10 Porque aun estaba en los lomos de su padre cuando Melchîsedec le salió al encuentro.
Hebrews 7:11 Now if it was possible for things to be made complete through the priests of the house of Levi (for the law was given to the people in connection with them), what need was there for another priest who was of the order of Melchizedek and not of the order of Aaron?	Hebreos 7:11 Si pues la perfección era por el sacerdocio Levítico (porque debajo de él recibio el pueblo la ley) ¿qué necesidad había aún de que se levantase otro sacerdote según el orden de Melchîsedec, y que no fuese llamado según el orden de Aarón?
Hebrews 7:12 Because if the priests are changed, it is necessary to make a change in the law.	Hebreos 7:12 Pues mudado el sacerdocio, necesario es que se haga también mudanza de la ley.
Hebrews 7:13 For he of whom these things are said comes of another tribe, of which no man has ever made offerings at the altar.	Hebreos 7:13 Porque aquel del cual esto se dice, de otra tribu es, de la cual nadie asistió al altar.
Hebrews 7:14 Because it is clear that our Lord comes out of Judah, and Moses said nothing about priests from that tribe.	Hebreos 7:14 Porque notorio es que el Señor nuestro nació de la tribu de Judá, sobre cuya tribu nada habló Moisés tocante al sacerdocio.
Hebrews 7:15 And this is even more clear if a second priest has come up who is like Melchizedek,	Hebreos 7:15 Y aun más manifiesto es, si á semejanza de Melchîsedec se levanta otro sacerdote,
Hebrews 7:16 That is to say, not made by a law based on the flesh, but by the power of a life without end:	Hebreos 7:16 El cual no es hecho conforme á la ley del mandamiento carnal, sino según la virtud de vida indisoluble;
Hebrews 7:17 For it has been witnessed of him, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.	Hebreos 7:17 Pues se da testimonio de él: Tú eres sacerdote para siempre, Según el orden de Melchîsedec.
Hebrews 7:18 So the law which went before is put on one side, because it was feeble and without profit.	Hebreos 7:18 El mandamiento precedente, cierto se abroga por su flaqueza é inutilidad;
Hebrews 7:19 (Because the law made nothing complete), and in its place there is a better hope, through which we come near to God.	Hebreos 7:19 Porque nada perfeccionó la ley; mas hízolo la introducción de mejor esperanza, por la cual nos acercamos á Dios.
Hebrews 7:20 And as this is not without the taking of an oath	Hebreos 7:20 Y por cuanto no fué sin juramento,
Hebrews 7:21 (For those were made priests without an oath, but this one was made a priest with an oath by him who says of him, The Lord gave his oath, which he will not take back, that you are a priest for ever);	Hebreos 7:21 (Porque los otros cierto sin juramento fueron hechos sacerdotes; mas éste, con juramento por el que le dijo: Juró el Señor, y no se arrepentirá: Tú eres sacerdote eternamente Según el orden de Melchîsedec:)
Hebrews 7:22 By so much is it a better agreement which we have through Jesus.	Hebreos 7:22 Tanto de mejor testamento es hecho fiador Jesús.
Hebrews 7:23 And it is true that there have been a great number of those priests, because death does not let them go on for ever;	Hebreos 7:23 Y los otros cierto fueron muchos sacerdotes, en cuanto por la muerte no podían permanecer.
Hebrews 7:24 But this priest, because his life goes on for ever, is unchanging.	Hebreos 7:24 Mas éste, por cuanto permanece para siempre, tiene un sacerdocio inmutable:
Hebrews 7:25 So that he is fully able to be the saviour of all who come to God through him, because he is ever living to make prayer to God for them.	Hebreos 7:25 Por lo cual puede también salvar eternamente á los que por él se allegan á Dios, viviendo siempre para interceder por ellos.
Hebrews 7:26 It was right for us to have such a high priest, one who is holy and without evil, doing no wrong, having no part with sinners, and made higher than the heavens:	Hebreos 7:26 Porque tal pontífice nos convenía: santo, inocente, limpio, apartado de los pecadores, y hecho más sublime de los cielos;
Hebrews 7:27 Who has no need to make offerings for sins every day, like those high priests, first for himself, and then for the people; because he did this once and for ever when he made an offering of himself.	Hebreos 7:27 Que no tiene necesidad cada día, como los otros sacerdotes, de ofrecer primero sacrificios por sus pecados, y luego por los del pueblo: porque esto lo hizo una sola vez, ofreciéndose á sí mismo.
Hebrews 7:28 The law makes high priests of men who are feeble; but the word of the oath, which was made after the law, gives that position to a Son, in whom all good is for ever complete.	Hebreos 7:28 Porque la ley constituye sacerdotes á hombres flacos; mas la palabra del juramento, después de la ley, constituye al Hijo, hecho perfecto para siempre.
