Joshua 4:1 Now when all the nation had come to the other side of Jordan, the Lord said to Joshua,	Josué 4:1 Y Cuando toda la gente hubo acabado de pasar el Jordán, Jehová habló á Josué, diciendo:
Joshua 4:2 Take twelve men from the people, a man for every tribe,	Josué 4:2 Tomad del pueblo doce hombres, de cada tribu uno,
Joshua 4:3 And say to them, Take up from the middle of Jordan, from the place where the feet of the priests were resting, twelve stones, and take them over with you and put them down in the place where you take your rest tonight.	Josué 4:3 Y mandadles, diciendo: Tomaos de aquí del medio del Jordán, del lugar donde están firmes los pies de los sacerdotes, doce piedras, las cuales pasaréis con vosotros, y las asentaréis en el alojamiento donde habéis de tener la noche.
Joshua 4:4 So Joshua sent for the twelve men, whom he had ready, one man out of every tribe of the children of Israel,	Josué 4:4 Entonces Josué llamó á los doce hombres, los cuales había él ordenado de entre los hijos de Israel, de cada tribu uno;
Joshua 4:5 And he said to them, Go over before the ark of the Lord your God into the middle of Jordan, and let every one of you take up a stone on his back, one for every tribe of the children of Israel:	Josué 4:5 Y díjoles Josué: Pasad delante del arca de Jehová vuestro Dios al medio del Jordán; y cada uno de vosotros tome una piedra sobre su hombro, conforme al número de las tribus de los hijos de Israel;
Joshua 4:6 So that this may be a sign among you; when your children say to you in time to come, What is the reason for these stones?	Josué 4:6 Para que esto sea señal entre vosotros; y cuando vuestros hijos preguntaren á sus padres mañana, diciendo: ¿Qué os significan estas piedras?
Joshua 4:7 Then you will say to them, Because the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the Lord's agreement; when it went over Jordan the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones will be a sign for the children of Israel, keeping it in their memory for ever.	Josué 4:7 Les responderéis: Que las aguas del Jordán fueron partidas delante del arca del pacto de Jehová; cuando ella pasó el Jordán, las aguas del Jordán se partieron: y estas piedras serán por memoria á los hijos de Israel para siempre.
Joshua 4:8 So the children of Israel did as Joshua gave them orders, and took twelve stones from the middle of Jordan, as the Lord had said to Joshua, one for every tribe of the children of Israel; these they took across with them to their night's resting-place and put them down there.	Josué 4:8 Y los hijos de Israel lo hicieron así como Josué les mandó: que levantaron doce piedras del medio del Jordán, como Jehová lo había dicho á Josué, conforme al número de las tribus de los hijos de Israel, y pasáronlas consigo al alojamiento, y las asentaron allí.
Joshua 4:9 And Joshua put up twelve stones in the middle of Jordan, where the feet of the priests who took up the ark of the agreement had been placed: and there they are to this day.	Josué 4:9 Josué también levantó doce piedras en medio del Jordán, en el lugar donde estuvieron los pies de los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca del pacto; y han estado allí hasta hoy.
Joshua 4:10 For the priests who took up the ark kept there in the middle of Jordan till all the orders given to Joshua by Moses from the Lord had been done: then the people went over quickly.	Josué 4:10 Y los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca se pararon en medio del Jordán, hasta tanto que se acabó todo lo que Jehová había mandado á Josué que hablase al pueblo, conforme á todas las cosas que Moisés había á Josué mandado: y el pueblo se dió priesa y pasó.
Joshua 4:11 And when all the people had come to the other side, the ark of the Lord went over, and the priests, before the eyes of the people.	Josué 4:11 Y cuando todo el pueblo acabó de pasar, pasó también el arca de Jehová, y los sacerdotes, en presencia del pueblo.
Joshua 4:12 And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh went over armed before the children of Israel as Moses had said to them:	Josué 4:12 También los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, pasaron armados delante de los hijos de Israel, según Moisés les había dicho:
Joshua 4:13 About forty thousand armed for war went over before the Lord to the fight, to the lowlands of Jericho.	Josué 4:13 Como cuarenta mil hombres armados á punto pasaron hacia la campiña de Jericó delante de Jehová á la guerra.
Joshua 4:14 That day the Lord made Joshua great in the eyes of all Israel; and all the days of his life they went in fear of him, as they had gone in fear of Moses.	Josué 4:14 En aquel día Jehová engrandeció á Josué en ojos de todo Israel: y temiéronle, como habían temido á Moisés, todos los días de su vida.
Joshua 4:15 Then the Lord said to Joshua,	Josué 4:15 Y Jehová habló á Josué, diciendo:
Joshua 4:16 Give orders to the priests who take up the ark of witness, to come up out of Jordan.	Josué 4:16 Manda á los sacerdotes que llevan el arca del testimonio, que suban del Jordán.
Joshua 4:17 So Joshua gave orders to the priests, saying, Come up now out of Jordan.	Josué 4:17 Y Josué mandó á los sacerdotes, diciendo: Subid del Jordán.
Joshua 4:18 And when the priests who took up the ark of the Lord's agreement came up out of Jordan and their feet came out on to dry land, the waters of Jordan went back to their place, overflowing its edges as before.	Josué 4:18 Y aconteció que como los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca del pacto de Jehová, subieron del medio del Jordán, y las plantas de los pies de los sacerdotes estuvieron en seco, las aguas del Jordán se volvieron á su lugar, á su lugar, fkbcorriendo como antes sobre todos sus bordes.
Joshua 4:19 So on the tenth day of the first month the people came up out of Jordan, and put up their tents in Gilgal, on the east side of Jericho.	Josué 4:19 Y el pueblo subió del Jordán el diez del mes primero, y asentaron el campo en Gilgal, al lado oriental de Jericó.
Joshua 4:20 And the twelve stones which they took out of Jordan, Joshua put up in Gilgal.	Josué 4:20 Y Josué erigió en Gilgal las doce piedras que habían traído del Jordán.
Joshua 4:21 And he said to the children of Israel, When your children say to their fathers in time to come, What is the reason for these stones?	Josué 4:21 Y habló á los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Cuando mañana preguntaren vuestros hijos á sus padres, y dijeren: ¿Qué os significan estas piedras?
Joshua 4:22 Then give your children the story, and say, Israel came over this river Jordan on dry land.	Josué 4:22 Declararéis á vuestros hijos, diciendo: Israel pasó en seco por este Jordán.
Joshua 4:23 For the Lord your God made the waters of Jordan dry before you till you had gone across, as he did to the Red Sea, drying it up before us till we had gone across:	Josué 4:23 Porque Jehová vuestro Dios secó las aguas del Jordán delante de vosotros, hasta que habíais pasado, á la manera que Jehová vuestro Dios lo había hecho en el mar Bermejo, al cual secó delante de nosotros hasta que pasamos:
Joshua 4:24 So that all the peoples of the earth may see that the hand of the Lord is strong; and that they may go in fear of the Lord your God for ever.	Josué 4:24 Para que todos los pueblos de la tierra conozcan la mano de Jehová, que es fuerte; para que temáis á Jehová vuestro Dios todos los días.
