Luke 24	Lucas 24
Luke 24:1 But on the first day of the week, at dawn, they came to the place where his body had been put, taking the spices which they had got ready.	Lucas 24:1 Y EL primer día de la semana, muy de mañana, vinieron al sepulcro, trayendo las drogas aromáticas que habían aparejado, y algunas otras mujeres con ellas.
Luke 24:2 And they saw that the stone had been rolled away.	Lucas 24:2 Y hallaron la piedra revuelta del sepulcro.
Luke 24:3 And they went in, but the body of the Lord Jesus was not there.	Lucas 24:3 Y entrando, no hallaron el cuerpo del Señor Jesús.
Luke 24:4 And while they were in doubt about it, they saw two men in shining clothing by them:	Lucas 24:4 Y aconteció, que estando ellas espantadas de esto, he aquí se pararon junto á ellas dos varones con vestiduras resplandecientes;
Luke 24:5 And while their faces were bent down to the earth in fear, these said to them, Why are you looking for the living among the dead?	Lucas 24:5 Y como tuviesen ellas temor, y bajasen el rostro á tierra, les dijeron: ¿Por qué buscáis entre los muertos al que vive?
Luke 24:6 He is not here, he has come back to life: have in mind what he said to you when he was still in Galilee, saying,	Lucas 24:6 No está aquí, mas ha resucitado: acordaos de lo que os habló, cuando aun estaba en Galilea,
Luke 24:7 The Son of man will be given up into the hands of evil-doers, and be put to death on the cross, and on the third day he will come back to life.	Lucas 24:7 Diciendo: Es menester que el Hijo del hombre sea entregado en manos de hombres pecadores, y que sea crucificado, y resucite al tercer día.
Luke 24:8 And his words came back into their minds,	Lucas 24:8 Entonces ellas se acordaron de sus palabras,
Luke 24:9 And they went away from that place and gave an account of all these things to the eleven disciples and all the others.	Lucas 24:9 Y volviendo del sepulcro, dieron nuevas de todas estas cosas á los once, y á todos los demás.
Luke 24:10 Now they were Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary, the mother of James: and the other women with them said these things to the Apostles.	Lucas 24:10 Y eran María Magdalena, y Juana, y María madre de Jacobo, y las demás con ellas, las que dijeron estas cosas á los apóstoles.
Luke 24:11 But these words seemed foolish to them, and they had no belief in them.	Lucas 24:11 Mas á ellos les parecían como locura las palabras de ellas, y no las creyeron.
Luke 24:12 But Peter got up and went to the place where the body had been put, and looking in he saw nothing but the linen cloths, and he went to his house full of wonder at what had taken place.	Lucas 24:12 Pero levantándose Pedro, corrió al sepulcro: y como miró dentro, vió solos los lienzos echados; y se fué maravillándose de lo que había sucedido.
Luke 24:13 And then, two of them, on that very day, were going to a little town named Emmaus, which was about seven miles from Jerusalem.	Lucas 24:13 Y he aquí, dos de ellos iban el mismo día á una aldea que estaba de Jerusalem sesenta estadios, llamada Emmaús.
Luke 24:14 And they were talking together about all those things which had taken place.	Lucas 24:14 E iban hablando entre sí de todas aquellas cosas que habían acaecido.
Luke 24:15 And while they were talking and questioning together, Jesus himself came near and went with them.	Lucas 24:15 Y aconteció que yendo hablando entre sí, y preguntándose el uno al otro, el mismo Jesús se llegó, é iba con ellos juntamente.
Luke 24:16 But their eyes were not open that they might have knowledge of him.	Lucas 24:16 Mas los ojos de ellos estaban embargados, para que no le conociesen.
Luke 24:17 And he said to them, What are you talking about together while you go?	Lucas 24:17 Y díjoles: ¿Qué pláticas son estas que tratáis entre vosotros andando, y estáis tristes?
Luke 24:18 Then stopping, and looking sadly at him, one of them, named Cleopas, said to him, Are you the only man living in Jerusalem who has not had news of the things which have taken place there at this time?	Lucas 24:18 Y respondiendo el uno, que se llamaba Cleofas, le dijo: ¿Tú sólo peregrino eres en Jerusalem, y no has sabido las cosas que en ella han acontecido estos días?
Luke 24:19 And he said to them, What things? And they said, The things to do with Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet, great in his acts and his words, before God and all the people:	Lucas 24:19 Entonces él les dijo: ¿Qué cosas? Y ellos le dijeron: De Jesús Nazareno, el cual fué varón profeta, poderoso en obra y en palabra delante de Dios y de todo el pueblo;
Luke 24:20 And how the chief priests and our rulers gave him up to be put to death on the cross.	Lucas 24:20 Y cómo le entregaron los príncipes de los sacerdotes y nuestros príncipes á condenación de muerte, y le crucificaron.
Luke 24:21 But we were hoping that he would be the Saviour of Israel. In addition to all this he has now let three days go by from the time when these things took place;	Lucas 24:21 Mas nosotros esperábamos que él era el que había de redimir á Israel: y ahora sobre todo esto, hoy es el tercer día que esto ha acontecido.
Luke 24:22 And certain women among us gave us cause for wonder, for they went early to the place where his body had been put,	Lucas 24:22 Aunque también unas mujeres de los nuestros nos han espantado, las cuales antes del día fueron al sepulcro:
Luke 24:23 And it was not there; then they came saying that they had seen a vision of angels who said that he was living.	Lucas 24:23 Y no hallando su cuerpo, vinieron diciendo que también habían visto visión de ángeles, los cuales dijeron que él vive.
Luke 24:24 And some of those who were with us went to the place, and saw that it was as the women had said, but him they did not see.	Lucas 24:24 Y fueron algunos de los nuestros al sepulcro, y hallaron así como las mujeres habían dicho; más á él no le vieron.
Luke 24:25 And he said, O foolish men! how slow you are to give belief to what the prophets have said.	Lucas 24:25 Entonces él les dijo: ¡Oh insensatos, y tardos de corazón para creer todo lo que los profetas han dicho!
Luke 24:26 Was it not necessary for the Christ to go through these things, and to come into his glory?	Lucas 24:26 ¿No era necesario que el Cristo padeciera estas cosas, y que entrara en su gloria?
Luke 24:27 And he made clear to them all the things in the Writings, from Moses and from all the prophets, which had to do with himself.	Lucas 24:27 Y comenzando desde Moisés, y de todos los profetas, declarábales en todas las Escrituras lo que de él decían.
Luke 24:28 And they came near the town to which they were going, and he seemed as if he was going on;	Lucas 24:28 Y llegaron á la aldea á donde iban: y él hizo como que iba más lejos.
Luke 24:29 But they kept him back, saying, Do not go, for evening is near, the day is almost gone. And he went in with them.	Lucas 24:29 Mas ellos le detuvieron por fuerza, diciendo: Quédate con nosotros, porque se hace tarde, y el día ya ha declinado. Entró pues á estarse con ellos.
Luke 24:30 And when he was seated with them at table, he took the bread, and said words of blessing and, making division of it, he gave it to them.	Lucas 24:30 Y aconteció, que estando sentado con ellos á la mesa, tomando el pan, bendijo, y partió, y dióles.
Luke 24:31 And then their eyes were open, and they had knowledge of him, but he went from their view.	Lucas 24:31 Entonces fueron abiertos los ojos de ellos, y le conocieron; mas él se desapareció de los ojos de ellos.
Luke 24:32 And they said to one another, Were not our hearts burning in us while he was talking to us on the way, making clear to us the holy Writings?	Lucas 24:32 Y decían el uno al otro: ¿No ardía nuestro corazón en nosotros, mientras nos hablaba en el camino, y cuando nos abría las Escrituras?
Luke 24:33 And that very hour they got up and went back to Jerusalem, where the eleven and the others had come together.	Lucas 24:33 Y levantándose en la misma hora, tornáronse á Jerusalem, y hallaron á los once reunidos, y á los que estaban con ellos.
Luke 24:34 And they said to them, The Lord has truly come back to life again, and Simon has seen him.	Lucas 24:34 Que decían: Ha resucitado el Señor verdaderamente, y ha aparecido á Simón.
Luke 24:35 And they gave an account of the things which had taken place on the way, and how, when he gave them bread, they had knowledge of him.	Lucas 24:35 Entonces ellos contaban las cosas que les habían acontecido en el camino, y cómo había sido conocido de ellos al partir el pan.
Luke 24:36 And while they were saying these things, he himself was among them, and said to them, Peace be with you!	Lucas 24:36 Y entre tanto que ellos hablaban estas cosas, él se puso en medio de ellos, y les dijo: Paz á vosotros.
Luke 24:37 But they were full of fear, being of the opinion that they were seeing a spirit.	Lucas 24:37 Entonces ellos espantados y asombrados, pensaban que veían espíritu.
Luke 24:38 And he said to them, Why are you troubled, and why are your hearts full of doubt?	Lucas 24:38 Mas él les dice: ¿Por qué estáis turbados, y suben pensamientos á vuestros corazones?
Luke 24:39 See; my hands and my feet: it is I myself; put your hands on me and make certain; for a spirit has not flesh and bones as you see that I have.	Lucas 24:39 Mirad mis manos y mis pies, que yo mismo soy: palpad, y ved; que el espíritu ni tiene carne ni huesos, como veis que yo tengo.
Luke 24:40 And when he had said this, he let them see his hands and his feet.	Lucas 24:40 Y en diciendo esto, les mostró las manos y los pies.
Luke 24:41 And because, for joy and wonder, they were still in doubt, he said to them, Have you any food here?	Lucas 24:41 Y no creyéndolo aún ellos de gozo, y maravillados, díjoles: ¿Tenéis aquí algo de comer?
Luke 24:42 And they gave him a bit of cooked fish.	Lucas 24:42 Entonces ellos le presentaron parte de un pez asado, y un panal de miel.
Luke 24:43 And before their eyes he took a meal.	Lucas 24:43 Y él tomó, y comió delante de ellos.
Luke 24:44 And he said to them, These are the words which I said to you when I was still with you, how it was necessary for all the things which are in the writings of Moses and the prophets and in the Psalms about me, to be put into effect.	Lucas 24:44 Y él les dijo: Estas son las palabras que os hablé, estando aún con vosotros: que era necesario que se cumpliesen todas las cosas que están escritas de mí en la ley de Moisés, y en los profetas, y en los salmos.
Luke 24:45 Then he made the holy Writings clear to their minds.	Lucas 24:45 Entonces les abrió el sentido, para que entendiesen las Escrituras;
Luke 24:46 And he said to them, So it is in the Writings that the Christ would undergo death, and come back to life again on the third day;	Lucas 24:46 Y díjoles: Así está escrito, y así fué necesario que el Cristo padeciese, y resucitase de los muertos al tercer día;
Luke 24:47 And that teaching about a change of heart and forgiveness of sins is to be given to Jerusalem first and to all nations in his name.	Lucas 24:47 Y que se predicase en su nombre el arrepentimiento y la remisión de pecados en todas las naciones, comenzando de Jerusalem.
Luke 24:48 You are witnesses of these things.	Lucas 24:48 Y vosotros sois testigos de estas cosas.
Luke 24:49 And now I will send to you what my father has undertaken to give you, but do not go from the town, till the power from heaven comes to you.	Lucas 24:49 Y he aquí, yo enviaré la promesa de mi Padre sobre vosotros: mas vosotros asentad en la ciudad de Jerusalem, hasta que seáis investidos de potencia de lo alto.
Luke 24:50 And he took them out till they were near Bethany, and lifting up his hands, he gave them a blessing.	Lucas 24:50 Y sacólos fuera hasta Bethania, y alzando sus manos, los bendijo.
Luke 24:51 And while he was doing so, he went from them and was taken up into heaven.	Lucas 24:51 Y aconteció que bendiciéndolos, se fué de ellos; y era llevado arriba al cielo.
Luke 24:52 And they gave him worship and went back to Jerusalem with great joy.	Lucas 24:52 Y ellos, después de haberle adorado, se volvieron á Jerusalem con gran gozo;
Luke 24:53 And they were in the Temple at all times, giving praise to God.	Lucas 24:53 Y estaban siempre en el templo, alabando y bendiciendo á Dios. Amén.
