| Now these are the priests and the Levites who went up with Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra, | Y ESTOS son los sacerdotes y Levitas que subieron con Zorobabel hijo de Sealthiel, y con Jesuá: Seraías, Jeremías, Esdras, |

| Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah, | Semaías, y Joiarib, Jedaías, |
| Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chiefs of the priests and of their brothers in the days of Jeshua. | Sallum, Amoc, Hilcías, Jedaías. Estos eran los príncipes de los sacerdotes y sus hermanos en los días de Jesuá. |
| And the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, who was over the music-makers, he and his brothers. | Y los Levitas: Jesuá, Binnui, Cadmiel, Serebías, Judá, y Mathanías, que con sus hermanos oficiaba en los himnos. |
| And Bakbukiah and Unno, their brothers, were opposite them in their watches. | Y Bacbucías y Unni, sus hermanos, cada cual en su ministerio. |
| And Jeshua was the father of Joiakim, and Joiakim was the father of Eliashib, and Eliashib was the father of Joiada, | Y Jesuá engendró á Joiacim, y Joiacim engendró á Eliasib y Eliasib engendró á Joiada, |
| And Joiada was the father of Jonathan, and Jonathan was the father of Jaddua. | Y Joiada engendró á Jonathán, y Jonathán engendró á Jaddua. |
| And in the days of Joiakim there were priests, heads of families: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah; | Y en los días de Joiacim los sacerdotes cabezas de familias fueron: de Seraías, Meraías; de Jeremías, Hananías; |
| Of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan; | De Esdras, Mesullam; de Amarías, Johanán; |
| Of Malluchi, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph; | De Melichâ, Jonathán; de Sebanías, Joseph; |
| Of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai; | De Harim, Adna; de Meraioth, Helcai; |

| The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were listed as heads of families; and the priests, when Darius the Persian was king. | Los Levitas en días de Eliasib, de Joiada, y de Johanán y Jaddua, fueron escritos por cabezas de familias; también los sacerdotes, hasta el reinado de Darío el Persa. |
| The sons of Levi, heads of families, were recorded in the book of the histories, even till the days of Johanan, the son of Eliashib. | Los hijos de Leví, cabezas de familias, fueron escritos en el libro de las Crónicas hasta los días de Johanán, hijo de Eliasib. |
| And the chiefs of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua, the son of Kadmiel, with their brothers opposite them, to give blessing and praise as ordered by David, the man of God, watch against watch. | Los cabezas de los Levitas: Hasabías, Serebías, y Jesuá hijo de Cadmiel, y sus hermanos delante de ellos, para alabar y para rendir gracias, conforme al estatuto de David varón de Dios, guardando su turno. |
| Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were door-keepers keeping the watch at the store-houses of the doors. | Mathanías, y Bacbucías, Obadías, Mesullam, Talmón, Accub, guardas, eran porteros para la guardia á las entradas de las puertas. |
| These were in the days of Joiakim, the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the ruler and of Ezra the priest, the scribe. | Estos fueron en los días de Joiacim, hijo de Jesuá, hijo de Josadac, y en los días del gobernador Nehemías, y del sacerdote Esdras, escriba. |
| And when the time came for the wall of Jerusalem to be made holy, they sent for the Levites out of all their places to come to Jerusalem, to keep the feast with joy, and with praise and melody, with brass and corded instruments of music. | Y á la dedicación del muro de Jerusalem buscaron á los Levitas de todos los lugares, para traerlos á Jerusalem, para hacer la dedicación y la fiesta con alabanzas y con cánticos, con címbalos, salterios y cítaras. |
| And the sons of the music-makers came together from the lowland round about Jerusalem and from the daughter-towns of the Netophathites, | Y fueron reunidos los hijos de los cantores, así de la campiña alrededor de Jerusalem como de las aldeas de Netophati; |
| And from Beth-gilgal and from the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the music-makers had made daughter-towns for themselves round about Jerusalem. | Y de la casa de Gilgal, y de los campos de Geba, y de Azmaveth; porque los cantores se habían edificado aldeas alrededor de Jerusalem. |
| And the priests and the Levites made themselves clean; and they made the people clean, and the doorways and the wall. | Y se purificaron los sacerdotes y los Levitas; y purificaron al pueblo, y las puertas, y el muro. |
| Then I made the rulers of Judah come up on the wall, and I put in position two great bands of them who gave praise, walking in ordered lines; one went to the right on the wall, in the direction of the doorway where the waste was put; | Hice luego subir á los príncipes de Judá sobre el muro, y puse dos coros grandes que fueron en procesión: el uno á la mano derecha sobre el muro hacia la puerta del Muladar. |
| And after them went Hoshaiah and half of the rulers of Judah, | E iba tras de ellos Osaías, y la mitad de los príncipes de Judá, |
| And Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam, | Y Azarías, Esdras y Mesullam, |
| Judah and Benjamin and Shemaiah and Jeremiah, | Judá y Benjamín, y Semaías, y Jeremías; |
| And certain of the priests' sons with wind instruments; Zechariah, the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph, | Y de los hijos de los sacerdotes iban con trompetas, Zacarías hijo de Jonathán, hijo de Semaías, hijo de Mathanías, hijo de Michâías, hijo de Zachûr, hijo de Asaph; |
| And his brothers, Shemaiah, and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel and Judah, Hanani, with the music-instruments of David, the man of God; and Ezra the scribe was at their head; | Y sus hermanos Semaías, y Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nathanael, Judá y Hanani, con los instrumentos músicos de David varón de Dios; y Esdras escriba, delante de ellos. |
| And by the doorway of the fountain and straight in front of them, they went up by the steps of the town of David, at the slope up of the wall, over the house of David, as far as the water-doorway to the east. | Y á la puerta de la Fuente, en derecho delante de ellos, subieron por las gradas de la ciudad de David, por la subida del muro, desde la casa de David hasta la puerta de las Aguas al oriente. |
| And the other band of those who gave praise went to the left, and I went after them with half the people, on the wall, over the tower of the ovens, as far as the wide wall; | Y el segundo coro iba del lado opuesto, y yo en pos de él, con la mitad del pueblo sobre el muro, desde la torre de los Hornos hasta el muro ancho; |
| And over the doorway of Ephraim and by the old door and the fish door and the tower of Hananel and the tower of Hammeah, as far as the sheep door: and at the doorway of the watchmen they came to a stop. | Y desde la puerta de Ephraim hasta la puerta vieja, y á la puerta del Pescado, y la torre de Hananeel, y la torre de Hamath, hasta la puerta de las Ovejas: y pararon en la puerta de la Cárcel. |
| So the two bands of those who gave praise took up their positions in the house of God, and I and half of the chiefs with me: | Pararon luego los dos coros en la casa de Dios; y yo, y la mitad de los magistrados conmigo; |
| And the priests; Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with wind instruments; | Y los sacerdotes, Eliacim, Maaseías, Miniamin, Michâías, Elioenai, Zacarías, y Hananías, con trompetas; |
| And Maaseiah and Shemaiah and Eleazar and Uzzi and Jehohanan and Malchijah and Elam and Ezer. And the makers of melody made their voices loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer. | Y Maaseías, y Semeías, y Eleazar, y Uzzi, y Johanán, y Malchías, y Elam, y Ezer. Y los cantores cantaban alto, é Israhía era el prefecto. |
| And on that day they made great offerings and were glad; for God had made them glad with great joy; and the women and the children were glad with them: so that the joy of Jerusalem came to the ears of those who were far off. | Y sacrificaron aquel día grandes víctimas, é hicieron alegrías; porque Dios los había recreado con grande contentamiento: alegráronse también la mujeres y muchachos; y el alborozo de Jerusalem fué oído de lejos. |
| And on that day certain men were put over the rooms where the things which had been given were stored, for the lifted offerings and the first-fruits and the tenths, and to take into them the amounts, from the fields of every town, fixed by the law for the priests and the Levites: for Judah was glad on account of the priests and the Levites who were in their places. | Y en aquel día fueron puestos varones sobres las cámaras de los tesoros, de las ofrendas, de las primicias, y de los diezmos, para juntar en ellas, de los campos de la ciudades, las porciones legales para los sacerdotes y Levitas: porque era grande el gozo de Judá con respecto á los sacerdotes y Levitas que asistían. |
| And they kept the watch of their God, and were responsible for making things clean, and so did the music-makers and the door-keepers, as it was ordered by David and Solomon his son. | Y habían guardado la observancia de su Dios, y la observancia de la expiación, como también los cantores y los porteros, conforme al estatuto de David y de Salomón su hijo. |
| For in the days of David and Asaph in the past, there was a master of the music, and songs of blessing and praise to God. | Porque desde el tiempo de David y de Asaph, ya de antiguo, había príncipes de cantores, y cántico y alabanza, y acción de gracias á Dios. |
| And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah gave what was needed by the music-makers and the door-keepers day by day: and they made the offerings holy for the Levites; and the Levites did the same for the sons of Aaron. | Y todo Israel en días de Zorobabel, y en días de Nehemías, daba raciones á los cantores y á los porteros, cada cosa en su día: consagraban asimismo sus porciones á los Levitas, y los Levitas consagraban parte á los hijos de Aarón. |
