Numbers 3:1 Now these are the generations of Aaron and Moses, in the day when the word of the Lord came to Moses on Mount Sinai.	Números 3:1 Y Estas son las generaciones de Aarón y de Moisés, desde que Jehová habló á Moisés en el monte de Sinaí.
Numbers 3:2 These are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the oldest, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.	Números 3:2 Y estos son los nombres de los hijos de Aarón: Nadab el primogénito, y Abiú, Eleazar, é Ithamar.
Numbers 3:3 These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests, on whom the holy oil was put, who were marked out as priests.	Números 3:3 Estos son los nombres de los hijos de Aarón, sacerdotes ungidos; cuyas manos él hinchió para administrar el sacerdocio.
Numbers 3:4 And Nadab and Abihu were put to death before the Lord when they made an offering of strange fire before the Lord, in the waste land of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar did the work of priests before Aaron their father.	Números 3:4 Mas Nadab y Abiú murieron delante de Jehová, cuando ofrecieron fuego extraño delante de Jehová, en el desierto de Sinaí: y no tuvieron hijos: y Eleazar é Ithamar ejercieron el sacerdocio delante de Aarón su padre.
Numbers 3:5 And the Lord said to Moses,	Números 3:5 Y Jehová habló á Moisés, diciendo:
Numbers 3:6 Make the tribe of Levi come near, and put them before Aaron the priest, to be his helpers,	Números 3:6 Haz llegar á la tribu de Leví, y hazla estar delante del sacerdote Aarón, para que le ministren;
Numbers 3:7 In order that they may be responsible to him and to all Israel for the care of the Tent of meeting, and to do the work of the House;	Números 3:7 Y desempeñen su cargo, y el cargo de toda la congregación delante del tabernáculo del testimonio, para servir en el ministerio del tabernáculo;
Numbers 3:8 And they will have the care of all the vessels of the Tent of meeting, and will do for the children of Israel all the necessary work of the House.	Números 3:8 Y guarden todas las alhajas del tabernáculo del testimonio, y lo encargado á ellos de los hijos de Israel, y ministren en el servicio del tabernáculo.
Numbers 3:9 Give the Levites to Aaron and his sons; so that they may be his without question from among the children of Israel.	Números 3:9 Y darás los Levitas á Aarón y á sus hijos: le son enteramente dados de entre los hijos de Israel.
Numbers 3:10 And give orders that Aaron and his sons are to keep their place as priests; any strange person who comes near is to be put to death.	Números 3:10 Y constituirás á Aarón y á sus hijos, para que ejerzan su sacerdocio: y el extraño que se llegare, morirá.
Numbers 3:11 And the Lord said to Moses,	Números 3:11 Y habló Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
Numbers 3:12 See, I have taken the Levites out of the children of Israel to be mine in place of the first sons of the children of Israel;	Números 3:12 Y he aquí yo he tomado los Levitas de entre los hijos de Israel en lugar de todos los primogénitos que abren la matriz entre los hijos de Israel; serán pues míos los Levitas:
Numbers 3:13 For all the first sons are mine; on the day when I put to death all the first sons in the land of Egypt, I took for myself every first male birth of man and beast. They are mine; I am the Lord.	Números 3:13 Porque mío es todo primogénito; desde el día que yo maté todos los primogénitos en la tierra de Egipto, yo santifiqué á mí todos los primogénitos en Israel, así de hombres como de animales: míos serán: Yo Jehová.
Numbers 3:14 And the Lord said to Moses in the waste land of Sinai,	Números 3:14 Y Jehová habló á Moisés en el desierto de Sinaí, diciendo:
Numbers 3:15 Let all the children of Levi be numbered by their families and their fathers' houses; let every male of a month old and over be numbered.	Números 3:15 Cuenta los hijos de Leví por las casas de sus padres, por sus familias: contarás todos los varones de un mes arriba.
Numbers 3:16 So Moses did as the Lord said, numbering them as he had been ordered.	Números 3:16 Y Moisés los contó conforme á la palabra de Jehová, como le fué mandado.
Numbers 3:17 These were the sons of Levi by name: Gershon and Kohath and Merari.	Números 3:17 Y los hijos de Leví fueron estos por sus nombres: Gersón, y Coath, y Merari.
Numbers 3:18 And these are the names of the sons of Gershon, by their families: Libni and Shimei.	Números 3:18 Y los nombres de los hijos de Gersón, por sus familias, estos: Libni, y Simei.
Numbers 3:19 And the sons of Kohath, by their families: Amram and Izhar and Hebron and Uzziel.	Números 3:19 Y los hijos de Coath, por sus familias: Amram, é Izhar, y Hebrón, y Uzziel.
Numbers 3:20 And the sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites in the order of their fathers' houses.	Números 3:20 Y los hijos de Merari, por sus familias: Mahali, y Musi. Estas, las familias de Leví, por las casas de sus padres.
Numbers 3:21 From Gershon come the Libnites and the Shimeites; these are the families of the Gershonites.	Números 3:21 De Gersón, la familia de Libni y la de Simei: estas son las familias de Gersón.
Numbers 3:22 Those who were numbered of them, the males from one month old and over, were seven thousand, five hundred.	Números 3:22 Los contados de ellos conforme á la cuenta de todos los varones de un mes arriba, los contados de ellos, siete mil y quinientos.
Numbers 3:23 The tents of the Gershonites are to be placed at the back of the House, to the west.	Números 3:23 Las familias de Gersón asentarán sus tiendas á espaldas del tabernáculo, al occidente;
Numbers 3:24 The chief of the Gershonites is Eliasaph, the son of Lael.	Números 3:24 Y el jefe de la casa del padre de los Gersonitas, Eliasaph hijo de Lael.
Numbers 3:25 In the Tent of meeting, the Gershonites are to have the care of the House, and the Tent with its cover, and the veil for the door of the Tent of meeting,	Números 3:25 A cargo de los hijos de Gersón, en el tabernáculo del testimonio, estará el tabernáculo, y la tienda, y su cubierta, y el pabellón de la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio,
Numbers 3:26 And the hangings for the open space round the House and the altar, and the curtain for its doorway, and all the cords needed for its use.	Números 3:26 Y las cortinas del atrio, y el pabellón de la puerta del atrio, que está junto al tabernáculo y junto al altar alrededor; asimismo sus cuerdas para todo su servicio.
Numbers 3:27 From Kohath come the Amramites and the Izharites and the Hebronites and the Uzzielites; these are the families of the Kohathites.	Números 3:27 Y de Coath, la familia Amramítica, y la familia Izeharítica, y la familia Hebronítica, y la familia Ozielítica: estas son las familias Coathitas.
Numbers 3:28 Those who were numbered of them, the males from one month old and over, were eight thousand, six hundred, who were responsible for the care of the holy place.	Números 3:28 Por la cuenta de todos los varones de un mes arriba, eran ocho mil y seiscientos, que tenían la guarda del santuario.
Numbers 3:29 The tents of the Kohathites are to be placed on the south side of the House.	Números 3:29 Las familias de los hijos de Coath acamparán al lado del tabernáculo, al mediodía;
Numbers 3:30 Their chief is Elizaphan, the son of Uzziel.	Números 3:30 Y el jefe de la casa del padre de las familias de Coath, Elisaphán hijo de Uzziel.
Numbers 3:31 In their care are the ark, and the table, and the lights, and the altars, and all the vessels used in the holy place, and the veil, and all they are used for.	Números 3:31 Y á cargo de ellos estará el arca, y la mesa, y el candelero, y los altares, y los vasos del santuario con que ministran, y el velo, con todo su servicio.
Numbers 3:32 Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, will be head over all the Levites and overseer of those responsible for the care of the holy place.	Números 3:32 Y el principal de los jefes de los Levitas será Eleazar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote, prepósito de los que tienen la guarda del santuario.
Numbers 3:33 From Merari come the Mahlites and the Mushites; these are the families of Merari.	Números 3:33 De Merari, la familia Mahalítica y la familia Musítica: estas son las familias de Merari.
Numbers 3:34 Those who were numbered of them, the males of a month old and over, were six thousand, two hundred.	Números 3:34 Y los contados de ellos conforme á la cuenta de todos los varones de un mes arriba, fueron seis mil y doscientos.
Numbers 3:35 The chief of the families of Merari was Zuriel, the son of Abihail: their tents are to be placed on the north side of the House.	Números 3:35 Y el jefe de la casa del padre de las familias de Merari, Suriel hijo de Abihail: acamparán al lado del tabernáculo, al aquilón.
Numbers 3:36 And in their care are to be all the boards of the Tent, with their rods and pillars and bases, and all the instruments, and all they are used for,	Números 3:36 Y á cargo de los hijos de Merari estará la custodia de las tablas del tabernáculo, y sus barras, y sus columnas, y sus basas, y todos sus enseres, con todo su servicio:
Numbers 3:37 And the pillars of the open space round it, with their bases and nails and cords.	Números 3:37 Y las columnas en derredor del atrio, y sus basas, y sus estacas, y sus cuerdas.
Numbers 3:38 And those whose tents are to be placed on the east side of the House in front of the Tent of meeting, looking to the dawn, are Moses and Aaron and his sons, who will do the work of the holy place for the children of Israel; and any strange person who comes near will be put to death.	Números 3:38 Y los que acamparán delante del tabernáculo al oriente, delante del tabernáculo del testimonio al levante, serán Moisés, y Aarón y sus hijos, teniendo la guarda del santuario en lugar de los hijos de Israel: y el extraño que se acercare, morirá.
Numbers 3:39 All the Levites numbered by Moses and Aaron at the order of the Lord, all the males of one month old and over numbered in the order of their families, were twenty-two thousand.	Números 3:39 Todos los contados de los Levitas, que Moisés y Aarón conforme á la palabra de Jehová contaron por sus familias, todos los varones de un mes arriba, fueron veinte y dos mil.
Numbers 3:40 And the Lord said to Moses, Let all the first male children be numbered, and take the number of their names.	Números 3:40 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Cuenta todos los primogénitos varones de los hijos de Israel de un mes arriba, y toma la cuenta de los nombres de ellos.
Numbers 3:41 And give to me the Levites (I am the Lord) in place of the first sons of the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites in place of the first births among the cattle of the children of Israel.	Números 3:41 Y tomarás los Levitas para mí, yo Jehová, en lugar de todos los primogénitos de los hijos de Israel: y los animales de los Levitas en lugar de todos los primogénitos de los animales de los hijos de Israel.
Numbers 3:42 So Moses had all the first sons among the children of Israel numbered, as the Lord said to him.	Números 3:42 Y contó Moisés, como Jehová le mandó, todos los primogénitos de los hijos de Israel.
Numbers 3:43 Every first son from a month old and over was numbered by name, and the number came to twenty-two thousand, two hundred and seventy-three.	Números 3:43 Y todos los primogénitos varones, conforme á la cuenta de los nombres, de un mes arriba, los contados de ellos fueron veinte y dos mil doscientos setenta y tres.
Numbers 3:44 And the Lord said to Moses,	Números 3:44 Y habló Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
Numbers 3:45 Take the Levites in place of all the first sons of the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites in place of their cattle; the Levites are to be mine; I am the Lord.	Números 3:45 Toma los Levitas en lugar de todos los primogénitos de los hijos de Israel, y los animales de los Levitas en lugar de sus animales; y los Levitas serán míos: Yo Jehová.
Numbers 3:46 And the price you have to give for the two hundred and seventy-three first sons of the children of Israel which are in addition to the number of the Levites,	Números 3:46 Y por los rescates de los doscientos y setenta y tres, que sobrepujan á los Levitas los primogénitos de los hijos de Israel;
Numbers 3:47 Will be five shekels for every one, by the scale of the holy place (the shekel is twenty gerahs);	Números 3:47 Tomarás cinco siclos por cabeza; conforme al siclo del santuario tomarás: el siclo tiene veinte óbolos:
Numbers 3:48 And this money, the price of those over the number of the Levites, is to be given to Aaron and his sons.	Números 3:48 Y darás á Aarón y á sus hijos el dinero por los rescates de los que de ellos sobran.
Numbers 3:49 So Moses took the money, the price of those whose place had not been taken by the Levites;	Números 3:49 Tomó, pues, Moisés el dinero del rescate de los que resultaron de más de los redimidos por los Levitas:
Numbers 3:50 From the first sons of Israel he took it, a thousand, three hundred and sixty-five shekels, by the scale of the holy place;	Números 3:50 Y recibió de los primogénitos de los hijos de Israel en dinero, mil trescientos sesenta y cinco siclos, conforme al siclo del santuario.
Numbers 3:51 And he gave the money to Aaron and his sons, as the Lord had said.	Números 3:51 Y Moisés dió el dinero de los rescates á Aarón y á sus hijos, conforme al dicho de Jehová, según que Jehová había mandado á Moisés.
