Philemon 1	Filemón 1
Philemon 1:1 Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon, our dear helper in the faith,	Filemón 1:1 PABLO, prisionero de Jesucristo, y el hermano Timoteo, á Filemón amado, y coadjutor nuestro;
Philemon 1:2 And to Apphia, our sister, and to Archippus, our brother in God's army, and to the church in your house:	Filemón 1:2 Y á la amada Apphia, y á Archîpo, compañero de nuestra milicia, y á la iglesia que está en tu casa:
Philemon 1:3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.	Filemón 1:3 Gracia á vosotros y paz de Dios nuestro Padre, y del Señor Jesucristo.
Philemon 1:4 I give praise to God at all times and make prayer for you,	Filemón 1:4 Doy gracias á mi Dios, haciendo siempre memoria de ti en mis oraciones.
Philemon 1:5 Hearing of the love and the faith which you have to the Lord Jesus and to all the saints;	Filemón 1:5 Oyendo tu caridad, y la fe que tienes en el Señor Jesús, y para con todos los santos;
Philemon 1:6 That the faith which you have in common with them may be working with power, in the knowledge of every good thing in you, for Christ.	Filemón 1:6 Para que la comunicación de tu fe sea eficaz, en el conocimiento de todo el bien que está en vosotros, por Cristo Jesús.
Philemon 1:7 For I had great joy and comfort in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been made strong again through you, brother.	Filemón 1:7 Porque tenemos gran gozo y consolación de tu caridad, de que por ti, oh hermano, han sido recreadas las entrañas de los santos.
Philemon 1:8 And so, though I might, in the name of Christ, give you orders to do what is right,	Filemón 1:8 Por lo cual, aunque tengo mucha resolución en Cristo para mandarte lo que conviene,
Philemon 1:9 Still, because of love, in place of an order, I make a request to you, I, Paul, an old man and now a prisoner of Christ Jesus:	Filemón 1:9 Ruégo te más bien por amor, siendo tal cual soy, Pablo viejo, y aun ahora prisionero de Jesucristo:
Philemon 1:10 My request is for my child Onesimus, the child of my chains,	Filemón 1:10 Ruégote por mi hijo Onésimo, que he engendrado en mis prisiones,
Philemon 1:11 Who in the past was of no profit to you, but now is of profit to you and to me:	Filemón 1:11 El cual en otro tiempo te fué inútil, mas ahora á ti y á mí es útil;
Philemon 1:12 Whom I have sent back to you, him who is my very heart:	Filemón 1:12 El cual te vuelvo á enviar; tu pues, recíbele como á mis entrañas.
Philemon 1:13 Though my desire was to keep him with me, to be my servant in the chains of the good news, in your place:	Filemón 1:13 Yo quisiera detenerle conmigo, para que en lugar de ti me sirviese en las prisiones del evangelio;
Philemon 1:14 But without your approval I would do nothing; so that your good works might not be forced, but done freely from your heart.	Filemón 1:14 Mas nada quise hacer sin tu consejo, porque tu beneficio no fuese como de necesidad, sino voluntario.
Philemon 1:15 For it is possible that for this reason he was parted from you for a time, so that you might have him for ever;	Filemón 1:15 Porque acaso por esto se ha apartado de ti por algún tiempo, para que le recibieses para siempre;
Philemon 1:16 No longer as a servant, but more than a servant, a brother, very dear to me specially, but much more to you, in the flesh as well as in the Lord.	Filemón 1:16 No ya como siervo, antes más que siervo, como hermano amado, mayormente de mí, pero cuánto más de ti, en la carne y en el Señor.
Philemon 1:17 If then you take me to be your friend and brother, take him in as myself.	Filemón 1:17 Así que, si me tienes por compañero, recíbele como á mi.
Philemon 1:18 If he has done you any wrong or is in debt to you for anything, put it to my account.	Filemón 1:18 Y si en algo te dañó, ó te debe, ponlo á mi cuenta.
Philemon 1:19 I, Paul, writing this myself, say, I will make payment to you: and I do not say to you that you are in debt to me even for your life.	Filemón 1:19 Yo Pablo lo escribí de mi mano, yo lo pagaré: por no decirte que aun á ti mismo te me debes demás.
Philemon 1:20 So brother, let me have joy of you in the Lord: give new life to my heart in Christ.	Filemón 1:20 Sí, hermano, góceme yo de ti en el Señor; recrea mis entrañas en el Señor.
Philemon 1:21 Being certain that you will do my desire, I am writing to you, in the knowledge that you will do even more than I say.	Filemón 1:21 Te he escrito confiando en tu obediencia, sabiendo que aun harás más de lo que digo.
Philemon 1:22 And make a room ready for me; for I am hoping that through your prayers I will be given to you.	Filemón 1:22 Y asimismo prepárame también alojamiento; porque espero que por vuestras oraciones os tengo de ser concedido.
Philemon 1:23 Epaphras, my brother-prisoner in Christ Jesus, sends you his love;	Filemón 1:23 Te saludan Epafras, mi compañero en la prisión por Cristo Jesús,
Philemon 1:24 And so do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my brother-workers.	Filemón 1:24 Marcos, Aristarco, Demas y Lucas, mis cooperadores.
Philemon 1:25 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. So be it.	Filemón 1:25 La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con vuestro espíritu. Amén.
