Esther 5	Ê-xơ-tê 5
Esther 5:1 Now on the third day, Esther put on her queen's robes, and took her place in the inner room of the king's house, facing the king's house: and the king was seated on his high seat in the king's house, facing the doorway of the house.	Ê-xơ-tê 5:1 Ngày thứ ba, bà Ê-xơ-tê mặc đồ triều-phục, và ra chầu đứng tại nội viện, đối trước cung điện vua. Vua đương ngự trên ngôi tại trong cung điện trước cửa đền.
Esther 5:2 And when the king saw Esther the queen waiting in the inner room, looking kindly on her he put out the rod of gold in his hand to her. So Esther came near and put her fingers on the top of the rod.	Ê-xơ-tê 5:2 Vừa khi vua thấy hoàng hậu Ê-xơ-tê đứng chầu nơi nội viện, thì bà được ơn trước mặt vua; vua giơ ra cho bà Ê-xơ-tê cây phủ việt vàng ở nơi tay mình. Bà Ê-xơ-tê lại gần và rờ cây phủ việt.
Esther 5:3 Then the king said, What is your desire, Queen Esther, and what is your request? I will give it to you, even to the half of my kingdom.	Ê-xơ-tê 5:3 Vua nói với bà rằng: Hỡi hoàng hậu Ê-xơ-tê, ngươi muốn chi? Cầu xin điều gì? Dầu xin đến phân nửa nước, cũng sẽ ban cho ngươi.
Esther 5:4 And Esther in answer said, If it seems good to the king, let the king and Haman come today to the feast which I have made ready for him.	Ê-xơ-tê 5:4 Ê-xơ-tê nói: Nếu nhiệm ý vua, xin vua và Ha-man ngày nay hãy đến dự tiệc yến mà tôi đã dọn cho vua.
Esther 5:5 Then the king said, Let Haman come quickly, so that what Esther has said may be done. So the king and Haman came to the feast which Esther had made ready.	Ê-xơ-tê 5:5 Vua bèn bảo rằng: Hãy kíp vời Ha-man đến, đặng làm y như hoàng hậu đã nói. Đoạn, vua và Ha-man đi đến dự tiệc yến của bà Ê-xơ-tê đã dọn.
Esther 5:6 And while they were drinking wine the king said to Esther, What is your prayer? for it will be given to you and what is your request? for it will be done, even to the half of my kingdom.	Ê-xơ-tê 5:6 Trong lúc dự tiệc rượu, vua hỏi bà Ê-xơ-tê rằng: Nàng xin điều gì? tất ta sẽ nhậm cho. Nàng cầu khẩn việc gì? Dầu đến phân nửa nước, cũng sẽ ban cho.
Esther 5:7 Then Esther said in answer, My prayer and my request is this:	Ê-xơ-tê 5:7 Bà Ê-xơ-tê đáp rằng: Nầy điều tôi cầu xin và sự tôi ước ao:
Esther 5:8 If I have the king's approval, and if it is the king's pleasure to give me my prayer and do my request, let the king and Haman come to the feast which I will make ready for them, and tomorrow I will do as the king has said.	Ê-xơ-tê 5:8 Nếu tôi được ơn trước mặt vua, nếu vua lấy làm thiện mà nhậm lời tôi cầu xin và làm điều tôi ao ước, xin vua và Ha-man hãy đến dự tiệc yến mà tôi sẽ dọn, rồi ngày mai tôi sẽ làm theo lời vua dạy biểu.
Esther 5:9 Then on that day Haman went out full of joy and glad in heart; but when he saw Mordecai in the king's doorway, and he did not get to his feet or give any sign of fear before him, Haman was full of wrath against Mordecai.	Ê-xơ-tê 5:9 Trong ngày đó, Ha-man đi ra vui vẻ và lòng hớn hở. Nhưng khi Ha-man thấy Mạc-đô-chê ở nơi cửa vua không đứng dậy, cũng không chuyển động vì mình, bèn đầy dẫy lòng giận dữ Mạc-đô-chê.
Esther 5:10 But controlling himself, he went to his house; and he sent for his friends and Zeresh, his wife.	Ê-xơ-tê 5:10 Dẫu vậy, Ha-man nín giận lại, trở về nhà mình, sai người gọi đến các bạn hữu và Xê-rết là vợ mình.
Esther 5:11 And he gave them an account of the glories of his wealth, and the number of children he had, and the ways in which he had been honoured by the king, and how he had put him over the captains and servants of the king.	Ê-xơ-tê 5:11 Ha-man thuật lại cho chúng sự giàu có sang trọng mình. số đông con cái mình, và mọi sự vua làm cho mình được sang cả, thể nào vua cất mình cao hơn các quan trưởng và thần bộc của vua.
Esther 5:12 And Haman said further, Truly, Esther the queen let no man but myself come in to the feast which she had made ready for the king; and tomorrow again I am to be her guest with the king.	Ê-xơ-tê 5:12 Ha-man cũng nói: Trừ ra một mình ta, hoàng hậu Ê-xơ-tê chẳng vời ai cùng vua đến dự tiệc yến của bà đã dọn; và ngày mai ta lại được mời dự nơi nhà người với vua.
Esther 5:13 But all this is nothing to me while I see Mordecai the Jew seated by the king's doorway.	Ê-xơ-tê 5:13 Song mọi điều đó chẳng ích gì cho ta cả hễ lâu chừng nào ta thấy Mạc-đô-chê, người Giu-đa, ngồi tại cửa vua.
Esther 5:14 Then his wife Zeresh and all his friends said to him, Let a pillar, fifty cubits high, be made ready for hanging him, and in the morning get the king to give orders for the hanging of Mordecai: then you will be able to go to the feast with the king with a glad heart. And Haman was pleased with the suggestion, and he had the pillar made.	Ê-xơ-tê 5:14 Xê-rết, vợ người, và các bạn hữu người đều nói rằng: Hãy biểu dựng một mộc hình, cao năm mươi thước; rồi sớm mai, hãy cầu vua khiến cho người ta treo Mạc-đô-chê tại đó; đoạn ông hãy khoái lạc đi dự yến tiệc cùng vua. Điều đó lấy làm đẹp lòng Ha-man; người bèn truyền dựng cây mộc hình.
