Nahum 1:1 The word about Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.	Na-hum 1:1 Gánh nặng của Ni-ni-ve. Sách sự hiện thấy của Na-hum, người En-cốt.
Nahum 1:2 The Lord is a God who takes care of his honour and gives punishment for wrong; the Lord gives punishment and is angry; the Lord sends punishment on those who are against him, being angry with his haters.	Na-hum 1:2 Giê-hô-va là Đức Chúa Trời ghen và báo thù; Đức Giê-hô-va báo thù, và đầy sự thạnh nộ. Đức Giê-hô-va báo thù kẻ cừu địch mình và cưu giận cho kẻ thù mình.
Nahum 1:3 The Lord is slow to get angry and great in power, and will not let the sinner go without punishment: the way of the Lord is in the wind and the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.	Na-hum 1:3 Đức Giê-hô-va chậm giận và có quyền lớn; nhưng Ngài chẳng cầm kẻ mắc tội là vô tội. Đức Giê-hô-va đi trong gió lốc và bão tố, những đám mây là bụi dưới chơn Ngài.
Nahum 1:4 He says sharp words to the sea and makes it dry, drying up all the rivers: Bashan is feeble, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon is without strength.	Na-hum 1:4 Ngài quở trách biển, làm cho nó khô; và làm cạn hết thảy các sông. Ba-san và Cạt-mên đều mòn mỏi, hoa của Li-ban đều héo rụng.
Nahum 1:5 The mountains are shaking because of him, and the hills flowing away; the earth is falling to bits before him, the world and all who are in it.	Na-hum 1:5 Các núi run rẩy vì cớ Ngài, các đồi tan chảy; đất và thế gian cũng dân cư trên đất đều dậy lên trước mặt Ngài.
Nahum 1:6 Who may keep his place before his wrath? and who may undergo the heat of his passion? his wrath is let loose like fire and the rocks are broken open by him.	Na-hum 1:6 Ai đứng được trước sự thạnh nộ Ngài? Ai đương nổi sự nóng giận Ngài? Sự tức giận của Ngài đổ ra như lửa, những vầng đá vỡ ra bởi Ngài.
Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a strong place in the day of trouble; and he has knowledge of those who take him for their safe cover.	Na-hum 1:7 Đức Giê-hô-va là tốt lành, làm đồn lũy trong ngày hoạn nạn, và biết những kẻ ẩn náu nơi Ngài.
Nahum 1:8 But like water overflowing he will take them away; he will put an end to those who come up against him, driving his haters into the dark.	Na-hum 1:8 Ngài dùng nước lụt hủy diệt chỗ nó, và đuổi kẻ thù nghịch mình vào sự tối tăm.
Nahum 1:9 What are you designing against the Lord? he will put an end to it: his haters will not come up again a second time.	Na-hum 1:9 Các ngươi sẽ lập mưu gì nghịch cùng Đức Giê-hô-va? Ngài sẽ diệt hết cả, sẽ chẳng có tai nạn dậy lên lần thứ hai.
Nahum 1:10 For though they are like twisted thorns, and are overcome as with drink, they will come to destruction like stems of grass fully dry.	Na-hum 1:10 Vì chúng nó xỏ xen như gai gốc, và mê man như say rượu, thì sẽ bị thiêu hủy hết như rơm khô.
Nahum 1:11 One has gone out from you who is designing evil against the Lord, whose purposes are of no value.	Na-hum 1:11 Ay là từ ngươi mà ra một kẻ mưu sự dữ nghịch cùng Đức Giê-hô-va, và toan sự gian ác.
Nahum 1:12 This is what the Lord has said: The days of my cause against you are ended; they are cut off and past. Though I have sent trouble on you, you will no longer be troubled.	Na-hum 1:12 Đức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Dầu chúng nó sức mạnh đầy đủ và người đông cũng sẽ bị từ đi và trở nên hư không. Dầu ta đã làm khổ ngươi, song ta sẽ chẳng làm khổ ngươi nữa.
Nahum 1:13 And now I will let his yoke be broken off you, and your chains be parted.	Na-hum 1:13 Nhưng bấy giờ ta sẽ bẻ gãy ách nó khỏi ngươi, và bứt dứt dây ngươi.
Nahum 1:14 The Lord has given an order about you, that no more of your name are to be planted: from the house of your gods I will have the pictured and metal images cut off; I will make your last resting-place a place of shame; for you are completely evil.	Na-hum 1:14 Đức Giê-hô-va đã truyền lịnh về ngươi, từ danh ngươi chẳng sanh ra nữa. Ta sẽ trừ bỏ tượng chạm và tượng đúc khỏi nhà các thần ngươi; ta sẽ làm mồ mả cho ngươi, vì ngươi là hèn mạt.
Nahum 1:15 See on the mountains the feet of him who comes with good news, giving word of peace! Keep your feasts, O Judah, give effect to your oaths: for the good-for-nothing man will never again go through you; he is completely cut off.	Na-hum 1:15 Nầy, trên các núi có chơn của kẻ đem tin lành và rao sự bình an! Hỡi Giu-đa, ngươi nữa, nó sẽ bị diệt sạch.
