Marcos 9	Mark 9
Marcos 9:1 TAMBIÉN les dijo: De cierto os digo que hay algunos de los que están aquí, que no gustarán la muerte hasta que hayan visto el reino de Dios que viene con potencia.	Mark 9:1 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There are some here of them that stand [by], who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God come with power.
Marcos 9:2 Y seis días después tomó Jesús á Pedro, y á Jacobo, y á Juan, y los sacó aparte solos á un monte alto; y fué transfigurado delante de ellos.	Mark 9:2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them;
Marcos 9:3 Y sus vestidos se volvieron resplandecientes, muy blancos, como la nieve; tanto que ningún lavador en la tierra los puede hacer tan blancos.	Mark 9:3 and his garments became glistering, exceeding white, so as no fuller on earth can whiten them.
Marcos 9:4 Y les apareció Elías con Moisés, que hablaban con Jesús.	Mark 9:4 And there appeared unto them Elijah with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.
Marcos 9:5 Entonces respondiendo Pedro, dice á Jesús: Maestro, bien será que nos quedemos aquí, y hagamos tres pabellones: para ti uno, y para Moisés otro, y para Elías otro;	Mark 9:5 And Peter answereth and saith to Jesus, Rabbi, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.
Marcos 9:6 Porque no sabía lo que hablaba; que estaban espantados.	Mark 9:6 For he knew not what to answer; for they became sore afraid.
Marcos 9:7 Y vino una nube que les hizo sombra, y una voz de la nube, que decía: Este es mi Hijo amado: á él oíd.	Mark 9:7 And there came a cloud overshadowing them: and there came a voice out of the cloud, This is my beloved Son: hear ye him.
Marcos 9:8 Y luego, como miraron, no vieron más á nadie consigo, sino á Jesús solo.	Mark 9:8 And suddenly looking round about, they saw no one any more, save Jesus only with themselves.
Marcos 9:9 Y descendiendo ellos del monte, les mandó que á nadie dijesen lo que habían visto, sino cuando el Hijo del hombre hubiese resucitado de los muertos.	Mark 9:9 And as they were coming down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, save when the Son of man should have risen again from the dead.
Marcos 9:10 Y retuvieron la palabra en sí, altercando qué sería aquéllo: Resucitar de los muertos.	Mark 9:10 And they kept the saying, questioning among themselves what the rising again from the dead should mean.
Marcos 9:11 Y le preguntaron, diciendo: ¿Qué es lo que los escribas dicen, que es necesario que Elías venga antes?	Mark 9:11 And they asked him, saying, [How is it] that the scribes say that Elijah must first come?
Marcos 9:12 Y respondiendo él, les dijo: Elías á la verdad, viniendo antes, restituirá todas las cosas: y como está escrito del Hijo del hombre, que padezca mucho y sea tenido en nada.	Mark 9:12 And he said unto them, Elijah indeed cometh first, and restoreth all things: and how is it written of the Son of man, that he should suffer many things and be set at nought?
Marcos 9:13 Empero os digo que Elías ya vino, y le hicieron todo lo que quisieron, como está escrito de él.	Mark 9:13 But I say unto you, that Elijah is come, and they have also done unto him whatsoever they would, even as it is written of him.
Marcos 9:14 Y como vino á los discípulos, vió grande compañía alrededor de ellos, y escribas que disputaban con ellos.	Mark 9:14 And when they came to the disciples, they saw a great multitude about them, and scribes questioning with them.
Marcos 9:15 Y luego toda la gente, viéndole, se espantó, y corriendo á él, le saludaron.	Mark 9:15 And straightway all the multitude, when they saw him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him.
Marcos 9:16 Y preguntóles: ¿Qué disputáis con ellos?	Mark 9:16 And he asked them, What question ye with them?
Marcos 9:17 Y respondiendo uno de la compañía, dijo: Maestro, traje á ti mi hijo, que tiene un espíritu mudo,	Mark 9:17 And one of the multitude answered him, Teacher, I brought unto thee my son, who hath a dumb spirit;
Marcos 9:18 El cual, donde quiera que le toma, le despedaza; y echa espumarajos, y cruje los dientes, y se va secando: y dije á tus discípulos que le echasen fuera, y no pudieron.	Mark 9:18 and wheresoever it taketh him, it dasheth him down: and he foameth, and grindeth his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast it out; and they were not able.
Marcos 9:19 Y respondiendo él, les dijo: ¡Oh generación infiel! ¿hasta cuándo estaré con vosotros? ¿hasta cuándo os tengo de sufrir? Traédmele.	Mark 9:19 And he answereth them and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I bear with you? bring him unto me.
Marcos 9:20 Y se le trajeron: y como le vió, luego el espíritu le desgarraba; y cayendo en tierra, se revolcaba, echando espumarajos.	Mark 9:20 And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him grievously; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.
Marcos 9:21 Y Jesús preguntó á su padre: ¿Cuánto tiempo há que le aconteció esto? Y él dijo: Desde niño:	Mark 9:21 And he asked his father, How long time is it since this hath come unto him? And he said, From a child.
Marcos 9:22 Y muchas veces le echa en el fuego y en aguas, para matarle; mas, si puedes algo, ayúdanos, teniendo misericordia de nosotros.	Mark 9:22 And oft-times it hath cast him both into the fire and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do anything, have compassion on us, and help us.
Marcos 9:23 Y Jesús le dijo: Si puedes creer, al que cree todo es posible.	Mark 9:23 And Jesus said unto him, If thou canst! All things are possible to him that believeth.
Marcos 9:24 Y luego el padre del muchacho dijo clamando: Creo, ayuda mi incredulidad.	Mark 9:24 Straightway the father of the child cried out, and said, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
Marcos 9:25 Y como Jesús vió que la multitud se agolpaba, reprendió al espíritu inmundo, diciéndole: Espíritu mudo y sordo, yo te mando, sal de él, y no entres más en él.	Mark 9:25 And when Jesus saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I command thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
Marcos 9:26 Entonces el espíritu clamando y desgarrándole mucho, salió; y él quedó como muerto, de modo que muchos decían: Está muerto.	Mark 9:26 And having cried out, and torn him much, he came out: and [the boy] became as one dead; insomuch that the more part said, He is dead.
Marcos 9:27 Mas Jesús tomándole de la mano, enderezóle; y se levantó.	Mark 9:27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and raised him up; and he arose.
Marcos 9:28 Y como él entró en casa, sus discípulos le preguntaron aparte: ¿Por qué nosotros no pudimos echarle fuera?	Mark 9:28 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, [How is it] that we could not cast it out?
Marcos 9:29 Y les dijo: Este género con nada puede salir, sino con oración y ayuno.	Mark 9:29 And he said unto them, This kind can come out by nothing, save by prayer.
Marcos 9:30 Y habiendo salido de allí, caminaron por Galilea; y no quería que nadie lo supiese.	Mark 9:30 And they went forth from thence, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it.
Marcos 9:31 Porque enseñaba á sus discípulos, y les decía: El Hijo del hombre será entregado en manos de hombres, y le matarán; mas muerto él, resucitará al tercer día.	Mark 9:31 For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered up into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and when he is killed, after three days he shall rise again.
Marcos 9:32 Pero ellos no entendían esta palabra, y tenían miedo de preguntarle.	Mark 9:32 But they understood not the saying, and were afraid to ask him.
Marcos 9:33 Y llegó á Capernaum; y así que estuvo en casa, les preguntó: ¿Qué disputabais entre vosotros en el camino?	Mark 9:33 And they came to Capernaum: and when he was in the house he asked them, What were ye reasoning on the way?
Marcos 9:34 Mas ellos callaron; porque los unos con los otros habían disputado en el camino quién había de ser el mayor.	Mark 9:34 But they held their peace: for they had disputed one with another on the way, who [was] the greatest.
Marcos 9:35 Entonces sentándose, llamó á los doce, y les dice: Si alguno quiere ser el primero, será el postrero de todos, y el servidor de todos.	Mark 9:35 And he sat down, and called the twelve; and he saith unto them, If any man would be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.
Marcos 9:36 Y tomando un niño, púsolo en medio de ellos; y tomándole en sus brazos, les dice:	Mark 9:36 And he took a little child, and set him in the midst of them: and taking him in his arms, he said unto them,
Marcos 9:37 El que recibiere en mi nombre uno de los tales niños, á mí recibe; y el que á mí recibe, no recibe á mí, mas al que me envió.	Mark 9:37 Whosoever shall receive one of such little children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever receiveth me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.
Marcos 9:38 Y respondióle Juan, diciendo: Maestro, hemos visto á uno que en tu nombre echaba fuera los demonios, el cual no nos sigue; y se lo prohibimos, porque no nos sigue.	Mark 9:38 John said unto him, Teacher, we saw one casting out demons in thy name; and we forbade him, because he followed not us.
Marcos 9:39 Y Jesús dijo: No se lo prohibáis; porque ninguno hay que haga milagro en mi nombre que luego pueda decir mal de mí.	Mark 9:39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man who shall do a mighty work in my name, and be able quickly to speak evil of me.
Marcos 9:40 Porque el que no es contra nosotros, por nosotros es.	Mark 9:40 For he that is not against us is for us.
Marcos 9:41 Y cualquiera que os diere un vaso de agua en mi nombre, porque sois de Cristo, de cierto os digo que no perderá su recompensa.	Mark 9:41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink, because ye are Christ's, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
Marcos 9:42 Y cualquiera que escandalizare á uno de estos pequeñitos que creen en mí, mejor le fuera si se le atase una piedra de molino al cuello, y fuera echado en la mar.	Mark 9:42 And whosoever shall cause one of these little ones that believe on me to stumble, it were better for him if a great millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
Marcos 9:43 Y si tu mano te escandalizare, córtala: mejor te es entrar á la vida manco, que teniendo dos manos ir á la Gehenna, al fuego que no puede ser apagado;	Mark 9:43 And if thy hand cause thee to stumble, cut it off: it is good for thee to enter into life maimed, rather than having thy two hands to go into hell, into the unquenchable fire.
Marcos 9:44 Donde su gusano no muere, y el fuego nunca se apaga.	Mark 9:44 [where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.]
Marcos 9:45 Y si tu pie te fuere ocasión de caer, córtalo: mejor te es entrar á la vida cojo, que teniendo dos pies ser echado en la Gehenna, al fuego que no puede ser apagado;	Mark 9:45 And if thy foot cause thee to stumble, cut it off: it is good for thee to enter into life halt, rather than having thy two feet to be cast into hell.
Marcos 9:46 Donde el gusano de ellos no muere, y el fuego nunca se apaga.	Mark 9:46 [where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.]
Marcos 9:47 Y si tu ojo te fuere ocasión de caer, sácalo: mejor te es entrar al reino de Dios con un ojo, que teniendo dos ojos ser echado á la Gehenna;	Mark 9:47 And if thine eye cause thee to stumble, cast it out: it is good for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell;
Marcos 9:48 Donde el gusano de ellos no muere, y el fuego nunca se apaga.	Mark 9:48 where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
Marcos 9:49 Porque todos serán salados con fuego, y todo sacrificio será salado con sal.	Mark 9:49 For every one shall be salted with fire.
Marcos 9:50 Buena es la sal; mas si la sal fuere desabrida, ¿con qué la adobaréis? Tened en vosotros mismos sal; y tened paz los unos con los otros.	Mark 9:50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost its saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace one with another.
