Mateo 6:1 MIRAD que no hagáis vuestra justicia delante de los hombres, para ser vistos de ellos: de otra manera no tendréis merced de vuestro Padre que está en los cielos.	Matthew 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your righteousness before men, to be seen of them: else ye have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.
Mateo 6:2 Cuando pues haces limosna, no hagas tocar trompeta delante de ti, como hacen los hipócritas en las sinagogas y en las plazas, para ser estimados de los hombres: de cierto os digo, que ya tienen su recompensa.	Matthew 6:2 When therefore thou doest alms, sound not a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have received their reward.
Mateo 6:3 Mas cuando tú haces limosna, no sepa tu izquierda lo que hace tu derecha;	Matthew 6:3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
Mateo 6:4 Para que sea tu limosna en secreto: y tu Padre que ve en secreto, él te recompensará en público.	Matthew 6:4 that thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father who seeth in secret shall recompense thee.
Mateo 6:5 Y cuando oras, no seas como los hipócritas; porque ellos aman el orar en las sinagogas, y en los cantones de las calles en pie, para ser vistos de los hombres: de cierto os digo, que ya tienen su pago.	Matthew 6:5 And when ye pray, ye shall not be as the hypocrites: for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have received their reward.
Mateo 6:6 Mas tú, cuando oras, éntrate en tu cámara, y cerrada tu puerta, ora á tu Padre que está en secreto; y tu Padre que ve en secreto, te recompensará en público.	Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thine inner chamber, and having shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret, and thy Father who seeth in secret shall recompense thee.
Mateo 6:7 Y orando, no seáis prolijos, como los Gentiles; que piensan que por su parlería serán oídos.	Matthew 6:7 And in praying use not vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Mateo 6:8 No os hagáis, pues, semejantes á ellos; porque vuestro Padre sabe de qué cosas tenéis necesidad, antes que vosotros le pidáis.	Matthew 6:8 Be not therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Mateo 6:9 Vosotros pues, oraréis así: Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos, santificado sea tu nombre.	Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye. Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Mateo 6:10 Venga tu reino. Sea hecha tu voluntad, como en el cielo, así también en la tierra.	Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth.
Mateo 6:11 Danos hoy nuestro pan cotidiano.	Matthew 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
Mateo 6:12 Y perdónanos nuestras deudas, como también nosotros perdonamos á nuestros deudores.	Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Mateo 6:13 Y no nos metas en tentación, mas líbranos del mal: porque tuyo es el reino, y el poder, y la gloria, por todos los siglos. Amén.	Matthew 6:13 And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil [one.]
Mateo 6:14 Porque si perdonareis á los hombres sus ofensas, os perdonará también á vosotros vuestro Padre celestial.	Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
Mateo 6:15 Mas si no perdonareis á los hombres sus ofensas, tampoco vuestro Padre os perdonará vuestras ofensas.	Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Mateo 6:16 Y cuando ayunáis, no seáis como los hipócritas, austeros; porque ellos demudan sus rostros para parecer á los hombres que ayunan: de cierto os digo, que ya tienen su pago.	Matthew 6:16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen of men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have received their reward.
Mateo 6:17 Mas tú, cuando ayunas, unge tu cabeza y lava tu rostro;	Matthew 6:17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thy head, and wash thy face;
Mateo 6:18 Para no parecer á los hombres que ayunas, sino á tu Padre que está en secreto: y tu Padre que ve en secreto, te recompensará en público.	Matthew 6:18 that thou be not seen of men to fast, but of thy Father who is in secret: and thy Father, who seeth in secret, shall recompense thee.
Mateo 6:19 No os hagáis tesoros en la tierra, donde la polilla y el orín corrompe, y donde ladronas minan y hurtan;	Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal:
Mateo 6:20 Mas haceos tesoros en el cielo, donde ni polilla ni orín corrompe, y donde ladrones no minan ni hurtan:	Matthew 6:20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Mateo 6:21 Porque donde estuviere vuestro tesoro, allí estará vuestro corazón.	Matthew 6:21 for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.
Mateo 6:22 La lámpara del cuerpo es el ojo: así que, si tu ojo fuere sincero, todo tu cuerpo será luminoso:	Matthew 6:22 The lamp of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
Mateo 6:23 Mas si tu ojo fuere malo, todo tu cuerpo será tenebroso. Así que, si la lumbre que en ti hay son tinieblas, ¿cuántas serán las mismas tinieblas?	Matthew 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is the darkness!
Mateo 6:24 Ninguno puede servir á dos señores; porque ó aborrecerá al uno y amará al otro, ó se llegará al uno y menospreciará al otro: no podéis servir á Dios y á Mammón.	Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Mateo 6:25 Por tanto os digo: No os congojéis por vuestra vida, qué habéis de comer, ó que habéis de beber; ni por vuestro cuerpo, qué habéis de vestir: ¿no es la vida más que el alimento, y el cuerpo que el vestido?	Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment?
Mateo 6:26 Mirad las aves del cielo, que no siembran, ni siegan, ni allegan en alfolíes; y vuestro Padre celestial las alimenta. ¿No sois vosotros mucho mejores que ellas?.	Matthew 6:26 Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye of much more value then they?
Mateo 6:27 Mas ¿quién de vosotros podrá, congojándose, añadir á su estatura un codo?	Matthew 6:27 And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit unto the measure of his life?
Mateo 6:28 Y por el vestido ¿por qué os congojáis? Reparad los lirios del campo, cómo crecen; no trabajan ni hilan;	Matthew 6:28 And why are ye anxious concerning raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Mateo 6:29 Mas os digo, que ni aun Salomón con toda su gloria fué vestido así como uno de ellos.	Matthew 6:29 yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Mateo 6:30 Y si la hierba del campo que hoy es, y mañana es echada en el horno, Dios la viste así, ¿no hará mucho más á vosotros, hombres de poca fe?	Matthew 6:30 But if God doth so clothe the grass of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, [shall he] not much more [clothe] you, O ye of little faith?
Mateo 6:31 No os congojéis pues, diciendo: ¿Qué comeremos, ó qué beberemos, ó con qué nos cubriremos?	Matthew 6:31 Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Mateo 6:32 Porque los Gentiles buscan todas estas cosas: que vuestro Padre celestial sabe que de todas estas cosas habéis menester.	Matthew 6:32 For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Mateo 6:33 Mas buscad primeramente el reino de Dios y su justicia, y todas estas cosas os serán añadidas.	Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mateo 6:34 Así que, no os congojéis por el día de mañana; que el día de mañana traerá su fatiga: basta al día su afán.	Matthew 6:34 Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
