Esdras 9	Ezra 9
Esdras 9:1 Y Acabadas estas cosas, los príncipes se llegaron á mí, diciendo: El pueblo de Israel, y los sacerdotes y levitas, no se han apartado de los pueblos de las tierras, de los Cananeos, Hetheos, Pherezeos, Jebuseos, Ammonitas, y Moabitas, Egipcios, y Amorrheos, haciendo conforme á sus abominaciones.	Ezra 9:1 Now after these things were done, the captains came to me and said, The people of Israel and the priests and Levites have not kept themselves separate from the people of the lands, but have taken part in the disgusting ways of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.
Esdras 9:2 Porque han tomado de sus hijas para sí y para sus hijos, y la simiente santa ha sido mezclada con los pueblos de las tierras; y la mano de los príncipes y de los gobernadores ha sido la primera en esta prevaricación.	Ezra 9:2 For they have taken their daughters for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy seed has been mixed with the peoples of the lands; and in fact the captains and rulers have been the first to do this evil.
Esdras 9:3 Lo cual oyendo yo, rasgué mi vestido y mi manto, y arranqué de los cabellos de mi cabeza y de mi barba, y sentéme atónito.	Ezra 9:3 And hearing this, with signs of grief and pulling out the hair of my head and my chin, I took my seat on the earth deeply troubled.
Esdras 9:4 Y juntáronse á mí todos los temerosos de las palabras del Dios de Israel, á causa de la prevaricación de los de la transmigración; mas yo estuve sentado atónito hasta el sacrificio de la tarde.	Ezra 9:4 Then everyone who went in fear of the words of the God of Israel, because of the sin of those who had come back, came together to me; and I kept where I was, overcome with grief, till the evening offering.
Esdras 9:5 Y al sacrificio de la tarde levantéme de mi aflicción; y habiendo rasgado mi vestido y mi manto, postréme de rodillas, y extendí mis palmas á Jehová mi Dios,	Ezra 9:5 And at the evening offering, having made myself low before God, I got up, and with signs of grief, falling down on my knees, with my hands stretched out to the Lord my God,
Esdras 9:6 Y dije: Dios mío, confuso y avergonzado estoy para levantar, oh Dios mío, mi rostro á ti: porque nuestras iniquidades se han multiplicado sobre nuestra cabeza, y nuestros delitos han crecido hasta el cielo.	Ezra 9:6 I said, O my God, shame keeps me from lifting up my face to you, my God: for our sins are increased higher than our heads and our evil-doing has come up to heaven.
Esdras 9:7 Desde los días de nuestros padres hasta este día estamos en grande culpa; y por nuestras iniquidades nosotros, nuestros reyes, y nuestros sacerdotes, hemos sido entregados en manos de los reyes de las tierras, á cuchillo, á cautiverio, y á robo, y á confusión de rostro, como hoy día.	Ezra 9:7 From the days of our fathers till this day we have been great sinners; and for our sins, we and our kings and our priests have been given up into the hands of the kings of the lands, to the sword and to prison and to loss of goods and to shame of face, as it is this day.
Esdras 9:8 Y ahora como por un breve momento fué la misericordia de Jehová nuestro Dios, para hacer que nos quedase un resto libre, y para darnos estaca en el lugar de su santuario, á fin de alumbrar nuestros ojos nuestro Dios, y darnos una poca de vida en nuestra servidumbre.	Ezra 9:8 And now for a little time grace has come to us from the Lord our God, to let a small band of us get free and to give us a nail in his holy place, so that our God may give light to our eyes and a measure of new life in our prison chains.
Esdras 9:9 Porque siervos éramos: mas en nuestra servidumbre no nos desamparó nuestro Dios, antes inclinó sobre nosotros misericordia delante de los reyes de Persia, para que se nos diese vida para alzar la casa de nuestro Dios, y para hacer restaurar sus asolamientos, y para darnos vallado en Judá y en Jerusalem.	Ezra 9:9 For we are servants; but our God has not been turned away from us in our prison, but has had mercy on us before the eyes of the kings of Persia, to give us new strength to put up again the house of our God and to make fair its waste places, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.
Esdras 9:10 Mas ahora, ¿qué diremos, oh Dios nuestro, después de esto? porque nosotros hemos dejado tus mandamientos,	Ezra 9:10 And now, O our God, what are we to say after this? for we have not kept your laws,
Esdras 9:11 Los cuales prescribiste por mano de tus siervos los profetas, diciendo: La tierra á la cual entráis para poseerla, tierra inmunda es á causa de la inmundicia de los pueblos de aquellas regiones, por las abominaciones de que la han henchido de uno á otro extremo con su inmundicia.	Ezra 9:11 Which you gave to your servants the prophets, saying, The land into which you are going, to take it for a heritage, is an unclean land, because of the evil lives of the peoples of the land and their disgusting ways, which have made the land unclean from end to end.
Esdras 9:12 Ahora pues, no daréis vuestras hijas á los hijos de ellos, ni sus hijas tomaréis para vuestros hijos, ni procuraréis su paz ni su bien para siempre; para que seáis corroborados, y comáis el bien de la tierra, y la dejéis por heredad á vuestros hijos para siempre.	Ezra 9:12 So now do not give your daughters to their sons or take their daughters for your sons or do anything for their peace or well-being for ever; so that you may be strong, living on the good of the land, and handing it on to your children for a heritage for ever.
Esdras 9:13 Mas después de todo lo que nos ha sobrevenido á causa de nuestras malas obras, y á causa de nuestro grande delito, ya que tú, Dios nuestro, estorbaste que fuésemos oprimidos bajo de nuestras iniquidades, y nos diste este tal efugio;	Ezra 9:13 And after everything which has come on us because of our evil-doing and our great sin, and seeing that the punishment which you, O God, have given us, is less than the measure of our sins, and that you have kept from death those of us who are here;
Esdras 9:14 ¿Hemos de volver á infringir tus mandamientos, y á emparentar con los pueblos de estas abominaciones? ¿No te ensañarías contra nosotros hasta consumirnos, sin que quedara resto ni escapatoria?	Ezra 9:14 Are we again to go against your orders, taking wives from among the people who do these disgusting things? would you not be angry with us till our destruction was complete, till there was not one who got away safe?
Esdras 9:15 Jehová, Dios de Israel, tú eres justo: pues que hemos quedado algunossalvos, como este día, henos aquí delante de ti en nuestros delitos; porque no es posible subsistir en tu presencia á causa de esto.	Ezra 9:15 O Lord God of Israel, righteousness is yours; we are only a small band which has been kept from death, as at this day: see, we are before you in our sin; for no one may keep his place before you because of this.
