Génesis 4:1 Y Conocio Adam á su mujer Eva, la cual concibió y parió á Caín, y dijo: Adquirido he varón por Jehová.	Genesis 4:1 And the man had connection with Eve his wife, and she became with child and gave birth to Cain, and said, I have got a man from the Lord.
Génesis 4:2 Y después parió á su hermano Abel. Y fué Abel pastor de ovejas, y Caín fué labrador de la tierra.	Genesis 4:2 Then again she became with child and gave birth to Abel, his brother. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a farmer.
Génesis 4:3 Y aconteció andando el tiempo, que Caín trajo del fruto de la tierra una ofrenda á Jehová.	Genesis 4:3 And after a time, Cain gave to the Lord an offering of the fruits of the earth.
Génesis 4:4 Y Abel trajo también de los primogénitos de sus ovejas, y de su grosura. Y miró Jehová con agrado á Abel y á su ofrenda;	Genesis 4:4 And Abel gave an offering of the young lambs of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord was pleased with Abel's offering;
Génesis 4:5 Mas no miró propicio á Caín y á la ofrenda suya. Y ensañóse Caín en gran manera, y decayó su semblante.	Genesis 4:5 But in Cain and his offering he had no pleasure. And Cain was angry and his face became sad.
Génesis 4:6 Entonces Jehová dijo á Caín: ¿Por qué te has ensañado, y por qué se ha inmutado tu rostro?	Genesis 4:6 And the Lord said to Cain, Why are you angry? and why is your face sad?
Génesis 4:7 Si bien hicieres, ¿no serás ensalzado? y si no hicieres bien, el pecado está á la puerta: con todo esto, á ti será su deseo, y tú te enseñorearás de él.	Genesis 4:7 If you do well, will you not have honour? and if you do wrong, sin is waiting at the door, desiring to have you, but do not let it be your master.
Génesis 4:8 Y habló Caín á su hermano Abel: y aconteció que estando ellos en el campo, Caín se levantó contra su hermano Abel, y le mató.	Genesis 4:8 And Cain said to his brother, Let us go into the field: and when they were in the field, Cain made an attack on his brother Abel and put him to death.
Génesis 4:9 Y Jehová dijo á Caín: ¿Dónde está Abel tu hermano? Y él respondió: No sé; ¿soy yo guarda de mi hermano?	Genesis 4:9 And the Lord said to Cain, Where is your brother Abel? And he said, I have no idea: am I my brother's keeper?
Génesis 4:10 Y él le dijo: ¿Qué has hecho? La voz de la sangre de tu hermano clama á mí desde la tierra.	Genesis 4:10 And he said, What have you done? the voice of your brother's blood is crying to me from the earth.
Génesis 4:11 Ahora pues, maldito seas tú de la tierra que abrió su boca para recibir la sangre de tu hermano de tu mano:	Genesis 4:11 And now you are cursed from the earth, whose mouth is open to take your brother's blood from your hand;
Génesis 4:12 Cuando labrares la tierra, no te volverá á dar su fuerza: errante y extranjero serás en la tierra.	Genesis 4:12 No longer will the earth give you her fruit as the reward of your work; you will be a wanderer in flight over the earth.
Génesis 4:13 Y dijo Caín á Jehová: Grande es mi iniquidad para ser perdonada.	Genesis 4:13 And Cain said, My punishment is greater than my strength.
Génesis 4:14 He aquí me echas hoy de la faz de la tierra, y de tu presencia me esconderé; y seré errante y extranjero en la tierra; y sucederá que cualquiera que me hallare, me matará.	Genesis 4:14 You have sent me out this day from the face of the earth and from before your face; I will be a wanderer in flight over the earth, and whoever sees me will put me to death.
Génesis 4:15 Y respondióle Jehová: Cierto que cualquiera que matare á Caín, siete veces será castigado. Entonces Jehová puso señal en Caín, para que no lo hiriese cualquiera que le hallara.	Genesis 4:15 And the Lord said, Truly, if Cain is put to death, seven lives will be taken for his. And the Lord put a mark on Cain so that no one might put him to death.
Génesis 4:16 Y salió Caín de delante de Jehová, y habitó en tierra de Nod, al oriente de Edén.	Genesis 4:16 And Cain went away from before the face of the Lord, and made his living-place in the land of Nod on the east of Eden.
Génesis 4:17 Y conoció Caín á su mujer, la cual concibió y parió á Henoch: y edificó una ciudad, y llamó el nombre de la ciudad del nombre de su hijo, Henoch.	Genesis 4:17 And Cain had connection with his wife and she became with child and gave birth to Enoch: and he made a town, and gave the town the name of Enoch after his son.
Génesis 4:18 Y á Henoch nació Irad, é Irad engendró á Mehujael, y Mehujael engendró á Methusael, y Methusael engendró á Lamech.	Genesis 4:18 And Enoch had a son Irad: and Irad became the father of Mehujael: and Mehujael became the father of Methushael: and Methushael became the father of Lamech.
Génesis 4:19 Y tomó para sí Lamech dos mujeres; el nombre de la una fué Ada, y el nombre de la otra Zilla.	Genesis 4:19 And Lamech had two wives; the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
Génesis 4:20 Y Ada parió á Jabal, el cual fué padre de los que habitan en tiendas, y crían ganados.	Genesis 4:20 And Adah gave birth to Jabal: he was the father of such as are living in tents and keep cattle.
Génesis 4:21 Y el nombre de su hermano fué Jubal, el cual fué padre de todos los que manejan arpa y órgano.	Genesis 4:21 And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all players on instruments of music.
Génesis 4:22 Y Zilla también parió á Tubal-Caín, acicalador de toda obra de metal y de hierro: y la hermana de Tubal-Caín fué Naama.	Genesis 4:22 And Zillah gave birth to Tubal-cain, who is the father of every maker of cutting instruments of brass and iron: and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah.
Génesis 4:23 Y dijo Lamech á sus mujeres: Ada y Zilla, oid mi voz; Mujeres de Lamech, escuchad mi dicho: Que varón mataré por mi herida, Y mancebo por mi golpe:	Genesis 4:23 And Lamech said to his wives, Adah and Zillah, give ear to my voice; you wives of Lamech, give attention to my words, for I would put a man to death for a wound, and a young man for a blow;
Génesis 4:24 Si siete veces será vengado Caín, Lamech en verdad setenta veces siete lo será.	Genesis 4:24 If seven lives are to be taken as punishment for Cain's death, seventy-seven will be taken for Lamech's.
Génesis 4:25 Y conoció de nuevo Adam á su mujer, la cual parió un hijo, y llamó su nombre Seth: Porque Dios (dijo ella) me ha sustituído otra simiente en lugar de Abel, á quien mató Caín.	Genesis 4:25 And Adam had connection with his wife again, and she gave birth to a son to whom she gave the name of Seth: for she said, God has given me another seed in place of Abel, whom Cain put to death.
Génesis 4:26 Y á Seth también le nació un hijo, y llamó su nombre Enós. Entonces los hombres comenzaron á llamarse del nombre de Jehová.	Genesis 4:26 And Seth had a son, and he gave him the name of Enosh: at this time men first made use of the name of the Lord in worship.
