Jeremías 47:1 PALABRA de Jehová que fué á Jeremías profeta acerca de los Palestinos, antes que Faraón hiriese á Gaza.	Jeremiah 47:1 The word of the Lord which came to Jeremiah the prophet about the Philistines, before Pharaoh's attack on Gaza.
Jeremías 47:2 Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que suben aguas del aquilón, y tornaranse en torrente, é inundarán la tierra y su plenitud, ciudades y moradores de ellas; y los hombres clamarán, y aullará todo morador de la tierra.	Jeremiah 47:2 This is what the Lord has said: See, waters are coming up out of the north, and will become an overflowing stream, overflowing the land and everything in it, the town and those who are living in it; and men will give a cry, and all the people of the land will be crying out in pain.
Jeremías 47:3 Por el sonido de las uñas de sus fuertes, por el alboroto de sus carros, por el estruendo de sus ruedas, los padres no miraron á los hijos por la flaqueza de las manos;	Jeremiah 47:3 At the noise of the stamping of the feet of his war-horses, at the rushing of his carriages and the thunder of his wheels, fathers will give no thought to their children, because their hands are feeble;
Jeremías 47:4 A causa del día que viene para destrucción de todos los Palestinos, para talar á Tiro, y á Sidón, á todo ayudador que quedó vivo: porque Jehová destruirá á los Palestinos, al resto de la isla de Caphtor.	Jeremiah 47:4 Because of the day which is coming with destruction on all the Philistines, cutting off from Tyre and Zidon the last of their helpers: for the Lord will send destruction on the Philistines, the rest of the sea-land of Caphtor.
Jeremías 47:5 Sobre Gaza vino mesadura, Ascalón fué cortada, y el resto de su valle: ¿hasta cuándo te arañarás?	Jeremiah 47:5 The hair is cut off from the head of Gaza; Ashkelon has come to nothing; the last of the Anakim are deeply wounding themselves.
Jeremías 47:6 Oh espada de Jehová, ¿hasta cuándo no reposarás? Métete en tu vaina, reposa y sosiega.	Jeremiah 47:6 O sword of the Lord, how long will you have no rest? put yourself back into your cover; be at peace, be quiet.
Jeremías 47:7 ¿Cómo reposarás? pues que Jehová lo ha enviado contra Ascalón, y á la ribera de la mar, allí lo puso.	Jeremiah 47:7 How is it possible for it to be quiet, seeing that the Lord has given it orders? against Ashkelon and against the sea-land he has given it directions.
