Lamentations 5:1 ACUÉRDATE, oh Jehová, de lo que nos ha sucedido: Ve y mira nuestro oprobio.	Lamentations 5:1 Keep in mind, O Lord, what has come to us: take note and see our shame.
Lamentations 5:2 Nuestra heredad se ha vuelto á extraños, Nuestras casas á forasteros.	Lamentations 5:2 Our heritage is given up to men of strange lands, our houses to those who are not our countrymen.
Lamentations 5:3 Huérfanos somos sin padre, Nuestras madres como viudas.	Lamentations 5:3 We are children without fathers, our mothers are like widows.
Lamentations 5:4 Nuestra agua bebemos por dinero; Nuestra leña por precio compramos.	Lamentations 5:4 We give money for a drink of water, we get our wood for a price.
Lamentations 5:5 Persecución padecemos sobre nuestra cerviz: Nos cansamos, y no hay para nosotros reposo.	Lamentations 5:5 Our attackers are on our necks: overcome with weariness, we have no rest.
Lamentations 5:6 Al Egipcio y al Asirio dimos la mano, para saciarnos de pan.	Lamentations 5:6 We have given our hands to the Egyptians and to the Assyrians so that we might have enough bread.
Lamentations 5:7 Nuestros padres pecaron, y son muertos; Y nosotros llevamos sus castigos.	Lamentations 5:7 Our fathers were sinners and are dead; and the weight of their evil-doing is on us.
Lamentations 5:8 Siervos se enseñorearon de nosotros; No hubo quien de su mano nos librase.	Lamentations 5:8 Servants are ruling over us, and there is no one to make us free from their hands.
Lamentations 5:9 Con peligro de nuestras vidas traíamos nuestro pan Delante del cuchillo del desierto.	Lamentations 5:9 We put our lives in danger to get our bread, because of the sword of the waste land.
Lamentations 5:10 Nuestra piel se ennegreció como un horno A causa del ardor del hambre.	Lamentations 5:10 Our skin is heated like an oven because of our burning heat from need of food.
Lamentations 5:11 Violaron á las mujeres en Sión, A las vírgenes en las ciudades de Judá.	Lamentations 5:11 They took by force the women in Zion, the virgins in the towns of Judah.
Lamentations 5:12 A los príncipes colgaron por su mano; No respetaron el rostro de los viejos.	Lamentations 5:12 Their hands put princes to death by hanging: the faces of old men were not honoured.
Lamentations 5:13 Llevaron los mozos á moler, Y los muchachos desfallecieron en la leña.	Lamentations 5:13 The young men were crushing the grain, and the boys were falling under the wood.
Lamentations 5:14 Los ancianos cesaron de la puerta, Los mancebos de sus canciones.	Lamentations 5:14 The old men are no longer seated in the doorway, and the music of the young men has come to an end.
Lamentations 5:15 Cesó el gozo de nuestro corazón; Nuestro corro se tornó en luto.	Lamentations 5:15 The joy of our hearts is ended; our dancing is changed into sorrow.
Lamentations 5:16 Cayó la corona de nuestra cabeza: ¡Ay ahora de nosotros! porque pecamos.	Lamentations 5:16 The crown has been taken from our head: sorrow is ours, for we are sinners.
Lamentations 5:17 Por esto fué entristecido nuestro corazón, Por esto se entenebrecieron nuestro ojos:	Lamentations 5:17 Because of this our hearts are feeble; for these things our eyes are dark;
Lamentations 5:18 Por el monte de Sión que está asolado; Zorras andan en él.	Lamentations 5:18 Because of the mountain of Zion which is a waste; jackals go over it.
Lamentations 5:19 Mas tú, Jehová, permanecerás para siempre: Tu trono de generación en generación.	Lamentations 5:19 You, O Lord, are seated as King for ever; the seat of your power is eternal.
Lamentations 5:20 ¿Por qué te olvidarás para siempre de nosotros, Y nos dejarás por largos días?	Lamentations 5:20 Why have we gone from your memory for ever? why have you been turned away from us for so long?
Lamentations 5:21 Vuélvenos, oh Jehová, á ti, y nos volveremos: Renueva nuestros días como al principio.	Lamentations 5:21 Make us come back to you, O Lord, and let us be turned; make our days new again as in the past.
Lamentations 5:22 Porque repeliendo nos has desechado; Te has airado contra nosotros en gran manera.	Lamentations 5:22 But you have quite given us up; you are full of wrath against us.
