Marcos 9	Mark 9
Marcos 9:1 TAMBIÉN les dijo: De cierto os digo que hay algunos de los que están aquí, que no gustarán la muerte hasta que hayan visto el reino de Dios que viene con potencia.	Mark 9:1 And he said to them, Truly I say to you, There are some here who will have no taste of death till they see the kingdom of God come with power.
Marcos 9:2 Y seis días después tomó Jesús á Pedro, y á Jacobo, y á Juan, y los sacó aparte solos á un monte alto; y fué transfigurado delante de ellos.	Mark 9:2 And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and made them go up with him into a high mountain by themselves: and he was changed in form before them:
Marcos 9:3 Y sus vestidos se volvieron resplandecientes, muy blancos, como la nieve; tanto que ningún lavador en la tierra los puede hacer tan blancos.	Mark 9:3 And his clothing became shining, very white, as no cleaner on earth would make it.
Marcos 9:4 Y les apareció Elías con Moisés, que hablaban con Jesús.	Mark 9:4 And there came before them Elijah with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.
Marcos 9:5 Entonces respondiendo Pedro, dice á Jesús: Maestro, bien será que nos quedemos aquí, y hagamos tres pabellones: para ti uno, y para Moisés otro, y para Elías otro;	Mark 9:5 And Peter said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tents; one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.
Marcos 9:6 Porque no sabía lo que hablaba; que estaban espantados.	Mark 9:6 Because he was not certain what to say, for they were in great fear.
Marcos 9:7 Y vino una nube que les hizo sombra, y una voz de la nube, que decía: Este es mi Hijo amado: á él oíd.	Mark 9:7 And a cloud came over them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my dearly loved Son, give ear to him.
Marcos 9:8 Y luego, como miraron, no vieron más á nadie consigo, sino á Jesús solo.	Mark 9:8 And suddenly looking round about, they saw no one any longer, but Jesus only with themselves.
Marcos 9:9 Y descendiendo ellos del monte, les mandó que á nadie dijesen lo que habían visto, sino cuando el Hijo del hombre hubiese resucitado de los muertos.	Mark 9:9 And while they were coming down from the mountain, he gave them orders not to give word to any man of the things they had seen, till the Son of man had come back from the dead.
Marcos 9:10 Y retuvieron la palabra en sí, altercando qué sería aquéllo: Resucitar de los muertos.	Mark 9:10 And they kept the saying, questioning among themselves what the coming back from the dead might be.
Marcos 9:11 Y le preguntaron, diciendo: ¿Qué es lo que los escribas dicen, que es necesario que Elías venga antes?	Mark 9:11 And they put a question to him, saying, Why do the scribes say that Elijah has to come first?
Marcos 9:12 Y respondiendo él, les dijo: Elías á la verdad, viniendo antes, restituirá todas las cosas: y como está escrito del Hijo del hombre, que padezca mucho y sea tenido en nada.	Mark 9:12 And he said to them, Truly, Elijah does come first, and puts all things in order; and how is it said in the Writings that the Son of man will go through much sorrow and be made as nothing?
Marcos 9:13 Empero os digo que Elías ya vino, y le hicieron todo lo que quisieron, como está escrito de él.	Mark 9:13 But I say to you that Elijah has come, and they have done to him whatever they were pleased to do, even as the Writings say about him.
Marcos 9:14 Y como vino á los discípulos, vió grande compañía alrededor de ellos, y escribas que disputaban con ellos.	Mark 9:14 And when they came to the disciples, they saw a great mass of people about them, and scribes questioning them.
Marcos 9:15 Y luego toda la gente, viéndole, se espantó, y corriendo á él, le saludaron.	Mark 9:15 And straight away all the people, when they saw him, were full of wonder, and running to him, gave him worship.
Marcos 9:16 Y preguntóles: ¿Qué disputáis con ellos?	Mark 9:16 And he said, What are you questioning them about?
Marcos 9:17 Y respondiendo uno de la compañía, dijo: Maestro, traje á ti mi hijo, que tiene un espíritu mudo,	Mark 9:17 And one of the number said to him in answer, Master, I came to you with my son, who has in him a spirit which takes away his power of talking;
Marcos 9:18 El cual, donde quiera que le toma, le despedaza; y echa espumarajos, y cruje los dientes, y se va secando: y dije á tus discípulos que le echasen fuera, y no pudieron.	Mark 9:18 And wherever it takes him, it puts him down violently, streaming at the lips and twisted with pain; and his strength goes from him; and I made a request to your disciples to send it out, and they were not able.
Marcos 9:19 Y respondiendo él, les dijo: ¡Oh generación infiel! ¿hasta cuándo estaré con vosotros? ¿hasta cuándo os tengo de sufrir? Traédmele.	Mark 9:19 And he said to them in answer, O generation without faith, how long will I have to be with you? how long will I put up with you? let him come to me.
Marcos 9:20 Y se le trajeron: y como le vió, luego el espíritu le desgarraba; y cayendo en tierra, se revolcaba, echando espumarajos.	Mark 9:20 And they took him to him: and when he saw him, the spirit in him straight away became violent; and he went down on the earth, rolling about and streaming at the lips.
Marcos 9:21 Y Jesús preguntó á su padre: ¿Cuánto tiempo há que le aconteció esto? Y él dijo: Desde niño:	Mark 9:21 And Jesus questioning the father said, How long has he been like this? And he said, From a child.
Marcos 9:22 Y muchas veces le echa en el fuego y en aguas, para matarle; mas, si puedes algo, ayúdanos, teniendo misericordia de nosotros.	Mark 9:22 And frequently it has sent him into the fire and into the water, for his destruction; but if you are able to do anything, have pity on us, and give us help.
Marcos 9:23 Y Jesús le dijo: Si puedes creer, al que cree todo es posible.	Mark 9:23 And Jesus said to him, If you are able! All things are possible to him who has faith.
Marcos 9:24 Y luego el padre del muchacho dijo clamando: Creo, ayuda mi incredulidad.	Mark 9:24 Straight away the father of the child gave a cry, saying, I have faith; make my feeble faith stronger.
Marcos 9:25 Y como Jesús vió que la multitud se agolpaba, reprendió al espíritu inmundo, diciéndole: Espíritu mudo y sordo, yo te mando, sal de él, y no entres más en él.	Mark 9:25 And when Jesus saw that the people came running together, he gave orders to the unclean spirit, saying to him, You, spirit, who are the cause of his loss of voice and hearing, I say to you, come out of him, and never again go into him.
Marcos 9:26 Entonces el espíritu clamando y desgarrándole mucho, salió; y él quedó como muerto, de modo que muchos decían: Está muerto.	Mark 9:26 And after crying out and shaking him violently, it came out: and the child became like one dead; so that most of them said, He is dead.
Marcos 9:27 Mas Jesús tomándole de la mano, enderezóle; y se levantó.	Mark 9:27 But Jesus took him by the hand, lifting him up; and he got up.
Marcos 9:28 Y como él entró en casa, sus discípulos le preguntaron aparte: ¿Por qué nosotros no pudimos echarle fuera?	Mark 9:28 And when he had gone into the house, his disciples said to him privately, Why were we unable to send it out?
Marcos 9:29 Y les dijo: Este género con nada puede salir, sino con oración y ayuno.	Mark 9:29 And he said to them, Nothing will make this sort come out but prayer.
Marcos 9:30 Y habiendo salido de allí, caminaron por Galilea; y no quería que nadie lo supiese.	Mark 9:30 And they went out from there, through Galilee; and it was his desire that no man might have knowledge of it;
Marcos 9:31 Porque enseñaba á sus discípulos, y les decía: El Hijo del hombre será entregado en manos de hombres, y le matarán; mas muerto él, resucitará al tercer día.	Mark 9:31 For he was giving his disciples teaching, and saying to them, The Son of man is given up into the hands of men, and they will put him to death; and when he is dead, after three days he will come back from the dead.
Marcos 9:32 Pero ellos no entendían esta palabra, y tenían miedo de preguntarle.	Mark 9:32 But the saying was not clear to them, and they were in fear of questioning him about it.
Marcos 9:33 Y llegó á Capernaum; y así que estuvo en casa, les preguntó: ¿Qué disputabais entre vosotros en el camino?	Mark 9:33 And they came to Capernaum: and when he was in the house, he put the question to them, What were you talking about on the way?
Marcos 9:34 Mas ellos callaron; porque los unos con los otros habían disputado en el camino quién había de ser el mayor.	Mark 9:34 But they said nothing: because they had had an argument between themselves on the way, about who was the greatest.
Marcos 9:35 Entonces sentándose, llamó á los doce, y les dice: Si alguno quiere ser el primero, será el postrero de todos, y el servidor de todos.	Mark 9:35 And seating himself, he made the twelve come to him; and he said to them, If any man has the desire to be first, he will be last of all and servant of all.
Marcos 9:36 Y tomando un niño, púsolo en medio de ellos; y tomándole en sus brazos, les dice:	Mark 9:36 And he took a little child, and put him in the middle of them; and taking him in his arms, he said to them,
Marcos 9:37 El que recibiere en mi nombre uno de los tales niños, á mí recibe; y el que á mí recibe, no recibe á mí, mas al que me envió.	Mark 9:37 Whoever will give honour to one such little child in my name, gives honour to me: and whoever gives honour to me, gives honour not to me, but to him who sent me.
Marcos 9:38 Y respondióle Juan, diciendo: Maestro, hemos visto á uno que en tu nombre echaba fuera los demonios, el cual no nos sigue; y se lo prohibimos, porque no nos sigue.	Mark 9:38 John said to him, Master, we saw one driving out evil spirits in your name: and we said that he might not, because he is not one of us.
Marcos 9:39 Y Jesús dijo: No se lo prohibáis; porque ninguno hay que haga milagro en mi nombre que luego pueda decir mal de mí.	Mark 9:39 But Jesus said, Say not so: for there is no man who will do a great work in my name, and be able at the same time to say evil of me.
Marcos 9:40 Porque el que no es contra nosotros, por nosotros es.	Mark 9:40 He who is not against us is for us.
Marcos 9:41 Y cualquiera que os diere un vaso de agua en mi nombre, porque sois de Cristo, de cierto os digo que no perderá su recompensa.	Mark 9:41 Whoever gives you a cup of water, because you are Christ's, truly I say to you, he will in no way be without his reward.
Marcos 9:42 Y cualquiera que escandalizare á uno de estos pequeñitos que creen en mí, mejor le fuera si se le atase una piedra de molino al cuello, y fuera echado en la mar.	Mark 9:42 And whoever is a cause of trouble to one of these little ones who have faith in me, it would be better for him if a great stone was put round his neck and he was dropped into the sea.
Marcos 9:43 Y si tu mano te escandalizare, córtala: mejor te es entrar á la vida manco, que teniendo dos manos ir á la Gehenna, al fuego que no puede ser apagado;	Mark 9:43 And if your hand is a cause of trouble to you, let it be cut off; it is better for you to go into life with one hand than to have two hands and go into hell, into the eternal fire.
Marcos 9:44 Donde su gusano no muere, y el fuego nunca se apaga.	Mark 9:44 []
Marcos 9:45 Y si tu pie te fuere ocasión de caer, córtalo: mejor te es entrar á la vida cojo, que teniendo dos pies ser echado en la Gehenna, al fuego que no puede ser apagado;	Mark 9:45 And if your foot is a cause of trouble to you, let it be cut off: it is better for you to go into life with one foot than to have two feet and go into hell.
Marcos 9:46 Donde el gusano de ellos no muere, y el fuego nunca se apaga.	Mark 9:46 []
Marcos 9:47 Y si tu ojo te fuere ocasión de caer, sácalo: mejor te es entrar al reino de Dios con un ojo, que teniendo dos ojos ser echado á la Gehenna;	Mark 9:47 And if your eye is a cause of trouble to you, take it out: it is better for you to go into the kingdom of God with one eye than, having two eyes, to go into hell,
Marcos 9:48 Donde el gusano de ellos no muere, y el fuego nunca se apaga.	Mark 9:48 Where their worm is ever living and the fire is not put out.
Marcos 9:49 Porque todos serán salados con fuego, y todo sacrificio será salado con sal.	Mark 9:49 Everyone will be salted with fire.
Marcos 9:50 Buena es la sal; mas si la sal fuere desabrida, ¿con qué la adobaréis? Tened en vosotros mismos sal; y tened paz los unos con los otros.	Mark 9:50 Salt is good; but if the taste goes from it, how will you make it salt again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace one with another.
