Mateo 6:1 MIRAD que no hagáis vuestra justicia delante de los hombres, para ser vistos de ellos: de otra manera no tendréis merced de vuestro Padre que está en los cielos.	Matthew 6:1 Take care not to do your good works before men, to be seen by them; or you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
Mateo 6:2 Cuando pues haces limosna, no hagas tocar trompeta delante de ti, como hacen los hipócritas en las sinagogas y en las plazas, para ser estimados de los hombres: de cierto os digo, que ya tienen su recompensa.	Matthew 6:2 When then you give money to the poor, do not make a noise about it, as the false-hearted men do in the Synagogues and in the streets, so that they may have glory from men. Truly, I say to you, They have their reward.
Mateo 6:3 Mas cuando tú haces limosna, no sepa tu izquierda lo que hace tu derecha;	Matthew 6:3 But when you give money, let not your left hand see what your right hand does:
Mateo 6:4 Para que sea tu limosna en secreto: y tu Padre que ve en secreto, él te recompensará en público.	Matthew 6:4 So that your giving may be in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will give you your reward.
Mateo 6:5 Y cuando oras, no seas como los hipócritas; porque ellos aman el orar en las sinagogas, y en los cantones de las calles en pie, para ser vistos de los hombres: de cierto os digo, que ya tienen su pago.	Matthew 6:5 And when you make your prayers, be not like the false-hearted men, who take pleasure in getting up and saying their prayers in the Synagogues and at the street turnings so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward.
Mateo 6:6 Mas tú, cuando oras, éntrate en tu cámara, y cerrada tu puerta, ora á tu Padre que está en secreto; y tu Padre que ve en secreto, te recompensará en público.	Matthew 6:6 But when you make your prayer, go into your private room, and, shutting the door, say a prayer to your Father in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will give you your reward.
Mateo 6:7 Y orando, no seáis prolijos, como los Gentiles; que piensan que por su parlería serán oídos.	Matthew 6:7 And in your prayer do not make use of the same words again and again, as the Gentiles do: for they have the idea that God will give attention to them because of the number of their words.
Mateo 6:8 No os hagáis, pues, semejantes á ellos; porque vuestro Padre sabe de qué cosas tenéis necesidad, antes que vosotros le pidáis.	Matthew 6:8 So be not like them; because your Father has knowledge of your needs even before you make your requests to him.
Mateo 6:9 Vosotros pues, oraréis así: Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos, santificado sea tu nombre.	Matthew 6:9 Let this then be your prayer: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.
Mateo 6:10 Venga tu reino. Sea hecha tu voluntad, como en el cielo, así también en la tierra.	Matthew 6:10 Let your kingdom come. Let your pleasure be done, as in heaven, so on earth.
Mateo 6:11 Danos hoy nuestro pan cotidiano.	Matthew 6:11 Give us this day bread for our needs.
Mateo 6:12 Y perdónanos nuestras deudas, como también nosotros perdonamos á nuestros deudores.	Matthew 6:12 And make us free of our debts, as we have made those free who are in debt to us.
Mateo 6:13 Y no nos metas en tentación, mas líbranos del mal: porque tuyo es el reino, y el poder, y la gloria, por todos los siglos. Amén.	Matthew 6:13 And let us not be put to the test, but keep us safe from the Evil One.
Mateo 6:14 Porque si perdonareis á los hombres sus ofensas, os perdonará también á vosotros vuestro Padre celestial.	Matthew 6:14 For if you let men have forgiveness for their sins, you will have forgiveness from your Father in heaven.
Mateo 6:15 Mas si no perdonareis á los hombres sus ofensas, tampoco vuestro Padre os perdonará vuestras ofensas.	Matthew 6:15 But if you do not let men have forgiveness for their sins, you will not have forgiveness from your Father for your sins.
Mateo 6:16 Y cuando ayunáis, no seáis como los hipócritas, austeros; porque ellos demudan sus rostros para parecer á los hombres que ayunan: de cierto os digo, que ya tienen su pago.	Matthew 6:16 And when you go without food, be not sad-faced as the false-hearted are. For they go about with changed looks, so that men may see that they are going without food. Truly I say to you, They have their reward.
Mateo 6:17 Mas tú, cuando ayunas, unge tu cabeza y lava tu rostro;	Matthew 6:17 But when you go without food, put oil on your head and make your face clean;
Mateo 6:18 Para no parecer á los hombres que ayunas, sino á tu Padre que está en secreto: y tu Padre que ve en secreto, te recompensará en público.	Matthew 6:18 So that no one may see that you are going without food, but your Father in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will give you your reward.
Mateo 6:19 No os hagáis tesoros en la tierra, donde la polilla y el orín corrompe, y donde ladronas minan y hurtan;	Matthew 6:19 Make no store of wealth for yourselves on earth, where it may be turned to dust by worms and weather, and where thieves may come in by force and take it away.
Mateo 6:20 Mas haceos tesoros en el cielo, donde ni polilla ni orín corrompe, y donde ladrones no minan ni hurtan:	Matthew 6:20 But make a store for yourselves in heaven, where it will not be turned to dust and where thieves do not come in to take it away:
Mateo 6:21 Porque donde estuviere vuestro tesoro, allí estará vuestro corazón.	Matthew 6:21 For where your wealth is, there will your heart be.
Mateo 6:22 La lámpara del cuerpo es el ojo: así que, si tu ojo fuere sincero, todo tu cuerpo será luminoso:	Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye; if then your eye is true, all your body will be full of light.
Mateo 6:23 Mas si tu ojo fuere malo, todo tu cuerpo será tenebroso. Así que, si la lumbre que en ti hay son tinieblas, ¿cuántas serán las mismas tinieblas?	Matthew 6:23 But if your eye is evil, all your body will be dark. If then the light which is in you is dark, how dark it will be!
Mateo 6:24 Ninguno puede servir á dos señores; porque ó aborrecerá al uno y amará al otro, ó se llegará al uno y menospreciará al otro: no podéis servir á Dios y á Mammón.	Matthew 6:24 No man is able to be a servant to two masters: for he will have hate for the one and love for the other, or he will keep to one and have no respect for the other. You may not be servants of God and of wealth.
Mateo 6:25 Por tanto os digo: No os congojéis por vuestra vida, qué habéis de comer, ó que habéis de beber; ni por vuestro cuerpo, qué habéis de vestir: ¿no es la vida más que el alimento, y el cuerpo que el vestido?	Matthew 6:25 So I say to you, Take no thought for your life, about food or drink, or about clothing for your body. Is not life more than food, and the body more than its clothing?
Mateo 6:26 Mirad las aves del cielo, que no siembran, ni siegan, ni allegan en alfolíes; y vuestro Padre celestial las alimenta. ¿No sois vosotros mucho mejores que ellas?.	Matthew 6:26 See the birds of heaven; they do not put seeds in the earth, they do not get in grain, or put it in store-houses; and your Father in heaven gives them food. Are you not of much more value than they?
Mateo 6:27 Mas ¿quién de vosotros podrá, congojándose, añadir á su estatura un codo?	Matthew 6:27 And which of you by taking thought is able to make himself a cubit taller?
Mateo 6:28 Y por el vestido ¿por qué os congojáis? Reparad los lirios del campo, cómo crecen; no trabajan ni hilan;	Matthew 6:28 And why are you troubled about clothing? See the flowers of the field, how they come up; they do no work, they make no thread:
Mateo 6:29 Mas os digo, que ni aun Salomón con toda su gloria fué vestido así como uno de ellos.	Matthew 6:29 But I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these.
Mateo 6:30 Y si la hierba del campo que hoy es, y mañana es echada en el horno, Dios la viste así, ¿no hará mucho más á vosotros, hombres de poca fe?	Matthew 6:30 But if God gives such clothing to the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is put into the oven, will he not much more give you clothing, O you of little faith?
Mateo 6:31 No os congojéis pues, diciendo: ¿Qué comeremos, ó qué beberemos, ó con qué nos cubriremos?	Matthew 6:31 Then do not be full of care, saying, What are we to have for food or drink? or, With what may we be clothed?
Mateo 6:32 Porque los Gentiles buscan todas estas cosas: que vuestro Padre celestial sabe que de todas estas cosas habéis menester.	Matthew 6:32 Because the Gentiles go in search of all these things: for your Father in heaven has knowledge that you have need of all these things:
Mateo 6:33 Mas buscad primeramente el reino de Dios y su justicia, y todas estas cosas os serán añadidas.	Matthew 6:33 But let your first care be for his kingdom and his righteousness; and all these other things will be given to you in addition.
Mateo 6:34 Así que, no os congojéis por el día de mañana; que el día de mañana traerá su fatiga: basta al día su afán.	Matthew 6:34 Then have no care for tomorrow: tomorrow will take care of itself. Take the trouble of the day as it comes.
