Proverbios 2:1 HIJO mío, si tomares mis palabras, Y mis mandamientos guardares dentro de ti,	Proverbs 2:1 My son, if you will take my words to your heart, storing up my laws in your mind;
Proverbios 2:2 Haciendo estar atento tu oído á la sabiduría; Si inclinares tu corazón á la prudencia;	Proverbs 2:2 So that your ear gives attention to wisdom, and your heart is turned to knowledge;
Proverbios 2:3 Si clamares á la inteligencia, Y á la prudencia dieres tu voz;	Proverbs 2:3 Truly, if you are crying out for good sense, and your request is for knowledge;
Proverbios 2:4 Si como á la plata la buscares, Y la escudriñares como á tesoros;	Proverbs 2:4 If you are looking for her as for silver, and searching for her as for stored-up wealth;
Proverbios 2:5 Entonces entenderás el temor de Jehová, Y hallarás el conocimiento de Dios.	Proverbs 2:5 Then the fear of the Lord will be clear to you, and knowledge of God will be yours.
Proverbios 2:6 Porque Jehová da la sabiduría, Y de su boca viene el conocimiento y la inteligencia.	Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; out of his mouth come knowledge and reason:
Proverbios 2:7 El provee de sólida sabiduría á los rectos: Es escudo á los que caminan rectamente.	Proverbs 2:7 He has salvation stored up for the upright, he is a breastplate to those in whom there is no evil;
Proverbios 2:8 Es el que guarda las veredas del juicio, Y preserva el camino de sus santos.	Proverbs 2:8 He keeps watch on the ways which are right, and takes care of those who have the fear of him.
Proverbios 2:9 Entonces entenderás justicia, juicio, Y equidad, y todo buen camino.	Proverbs 2:9 Then you will have knowledge of righteousness and right acting, and upright behaviour, even of every good way.
Proverbios 2:10 Cuando la sabiduría entrare en tu corazón, Y la ciencia fuere dulce á tu alma,	Proverbs 2:10 For wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasing to your soul;
Proverbios 2:11 El consejo te guardará, Te preservará la inteligencia:	Proverbs 2:11 Wise purposes will be watching over you, and knowledge will keep you;
Proverbios 2:12 Para librarte del mal camino, De los hombres que hablan perversidades;	Proverbs 2:12 Giving you salvation from the evil man, from those whose words are false;
Proverbios 2:13 Que dejan las veredas derechas, Por andar en caminos tenebrosos;	Proverbs 2:13 Who give up the way of righteousness, to go by dark roads;
Proverbios 2:14 Que se alegran haciendo mal, Que se huelgan en las perversidades del vicio;	Proverbs 2:14 Who take pleasure in wrongdoing, and have joy in the evil designs of the sinner;
Proverbios 2:15 Cuyas veredas son torcidas, Y torcidos sus caminos.	Proverbs 2:15 Whose ways are not straight, and whose footsteps are turned to evil:
Proverbios 2:16 Para librarte de la mujer extraña, De la ajena que halaga con sus palabras;	Proverbs 2:16 To take you out of the power of the strange woman, who says smooth words with her tongue;
Proverbios 2:17 Que desampara el príncipe de su mocedad, Y se olvida del pacto de su Dios.	Proverbs 2:17 Who is false to the husband of her early years, and does not keep the agreement of her God in mind:
Proverbios 2:18 Por lo cual su casa está inclinada á la muerte, Y sus veredas hacia los muertos:	Proverbs 2:18 For her house is on the way down to death; her footsteps go down to the shades:
Proverbios 2:19 Todos los que á ella entraren, no volverán, Ni tomarán las veredas de la vida.	Proverbs 2:19 Those who go to her do not come back again; their feet do not keep in the ways of life:
Proverbios 2:20 Para que andes por el camino de los buenos, Y guardes las veredas de los justos.	Proverbs 2:20 So that you may go in the way of good men, and keep in the footsteps of the upright.
Proverbios 2:21 Porque los rectos habitarán la tierra, Y los perfectos permanecerán en ella;	Proverbs 2:21 For the upright will be living in the land, and the good will have it for their heritage.
Proverbios 2:22 Mas los impíos serán cortados de la tierra, Y los prevaricadores serán de ella desarraigados.	Proverbs 2:22 But sinners will be cut off from the land, and those whose acts are false will be uprooted.
