| ALEPH. BIENAVENTURADOS los perfectos de camino; Los que andan en la ley de Jehová. | ALEPH Happy are they who are without sin in their ways, walking in the law of the Lord. |
| Bienaventurados los que guardan sus testimonios, Y con todo el corazón le buscan: | Happy are they who keep his unchanging word, searching after him with all their heart. |
| Pues no hacen iniquidad Los que andan en sus caminos. | They do no evil; they go in his ways. |
| Tú encargaste Que sean muy guardados tus mandamientos. | You have put your orders into our hearts, so that we might keep them with care. |
| ¡Ojalá fuesen ordenados mis caminos A observar tus estatutos! | If only my ways were ordered so that I might keep your rules! |
| Entonces no sería yo avergonzado, Cuando atendiese á todos tus mandamientos. | Then I would not be put to shame, as long as I have respect for all your teaching. |
| Te alabaré con rectitud de corazón, Cuando aprendiere los juicios de tu justicia. | I will give you praise with an upright heart in learning your right decisions. |
| Tus estatutos guardaré: No me dejes enteramente. | I will keep your rules: O give me not up completely. |
| BETH. ¿Con qué limpiará el joven su camino? Con guardar tu palabra. | BETH How may a young man make his way clean? by guiding it after your word. |
| Con todo mi corazón te he buscado: No me dejes divagar de tus mandamientos. | I have made search for you with all my heart: O let me not go wandering far from your teaching. |
| En mi corazón he guardado tus dichos, Para no pecar contra ti. | I have kept your sayings secretly in my heart, so that I might do no sin against you. |
| Bendito tú, oh Jehová: Enséñame tus estatutos. | Praise be to you, O Lord: give me knowledge of your rules. |
| Con mis labios he contado Todos los juicios de tu boca. | With my lips have I made clear all the decisions of your mouth. |
| Heme gozado en el camino de tus testimonios, Como sobre toda riqueza. | I have taken as much delight in the way of your unchanging word, as in all wealth. |
| En tus mandamientos meditaré, Consideraré tus caminos. | I will give thought to your orders, and have respect for your ways. |
| Recrearéme en tus estatutos: No me olvidaré de tus palabras. | I will have delight in your rules; I will not let your word go out of my mind. |
| GIMEL. Haz bien á tu siervo; que viva Y guarde tu palabra. | GIMEL Give me, your servant, the reward of life, so that I may keep your word; |
| Abre mis ojos, y miraré Las maravillas de tu ley. | Let my eyes be open to see the wonders of your law. |
| Advenedizo soy yo en la tierra: No encubras de mí tus mandamientos. | I am living in a strange land: do not let your teachings be kept secret from me. |
| Quebrantada está mi alma de desear Tus juicios en todo tiempo. | My soul is broken with desire for your decisions at all times. |
| Destruiste á los soberbios malditos, Que se desvían de tus mandamientos. | Your hand has been against the men of pride, a curse is on those who go wandering out of your way. |
| Aparta de mí oprobio y menosprecio; Porque tus testimonios he guardado. | Take away from me shame and bitter words; for I have kept your unchanging word in my heart. |
| Príncipes también se sentaron y hablaron contra mí: Mas tu siervo meditaba en tus estatutos. | Rulers make evil designs against me; but your servant gives thought to your rules. |
| Pues tus testimonios son mis deleites, Y mis consejeros. | Your unchanging word is my delight, and the guide of my footsteps. |
| DALETH. Pegóse al polvo mi alma: Vivifícame según tu palabra. | DALETH My soul is joined to the dust: O give me life, in keeping with your word. |
| Mis caminos te conté, y me has respondido: Enséñame tus estatutos. | I put the record of my ways before you, and you gave me an answer: O give me knowledge of your rules. |
| Hazme entender el camino de tus mandamientos, Y hablaré de tus maravillas. | Make the way of your orders clear to me; then my thoughts will be ever on your wonders. |
| Deshácese mi alma de ansiedad: Corrobórame según tu palabra. | My soul is wasted with sorrow; give me strength again in keeping with your word |
| Aparta de mí camino de mentira; Y hazme la gracia de tu ley. | Take from me every false way; and in mercy give me your law. |
| Escogí el camino de la verdad; He puesto tus juicios delante de mí. | I have taken the way of faith: I have kept your decisions before me. |
| Allegádome he á tus testimonios; Oh Jehová, no me avergüences. | I have been true to your unchanging word; O Lord, do not put me to shame. |
| Por el camino de tus mandamientos correré, Cuando ensanchares mi corazón. | I will go quickly in the way of your teaching, because you have given me a free heart. |
| HE. Enséñame, oh Jehová, el camino de tus estatutos, Y guardarélo hasta el fin. | HE O Lord, let me see the way of your rules, and I will keep it to the end. |
| Dame entendimiento, y guardaré tu ley; Y la observaré de todo corazón. | Give me wisdom, so that I may keep your law; going after it with all my heart. |
| Guíame por la senda de tus mandamientos; Porque en ella tengo mi voluntad. | Make me go in the way of your teachings; for they are my delight. |
| Inclina mi corazón á tus testimonios, Y no á la avaricia. | Let my heart be turned to your unchanging word, and not to evil desire. |
| Aparta mis ojos, que no vean la vanidad; Avívame en tu camino. | Let my eyes be turned away from what is false; give me life in your ways. |
| Confirma tu palabra á tu siervo, Que te teme. | Give effect to your word to your servant, in whose heart is the fear of you. |
| Quita de mí el oprobio que he temido: Porque buenos son tus juicios. | Take away the shame which is my fear; for your decisions are good. |
| He aquí yo he codiciado tus mandamientos: Vivifícame en tu justicia. | See how great is my desire for your orders: give me life in your righteousness. |
| VAV. Y venga á mí tu misericordia, oh Jehová; Tu salud, conforme á tu dicho. | VAU Let your mercies come to me, O Lord, even your salvation, as you have said. |
| Y daré por respuesta á mi avergonzador, Que en tu palabra he confiado. | So that I may have an answer for the man who would put me to shame; for I have faith in your word. |
| Y no quites de mi boca en nigún tiempo la palabra de verdad; Porque á tu juicio espero. | Take not your true word quite out of my mouth; for I have put my hope in your decisions. |
| Y guardaré tu ley siempre, Por siglo de siglo. | So that I may keep your law for ever and ever; |
| Y andaré en anchura, Porque busqué tus mandamientos. | So that my way may be in a wide place: because my search has been for your orders. |
| Y hablaré de tus testimonios delante de los reyes, Y no me avergonzaré. | So that I may give knowledge of your unchanging word before kings, and not be put to shame. |
| Y deleitaréme en tus mandamientos, Que he amado. | And so that I may take delight in your teachings, to which I have given my love. |
| Alzaré asimismo mis manos á tus mandamientos que amé; Y meditaré en tus estatutos. | And so that my hands may be stretched out to you; and I will give thought to your rules. |
| ZAYIN. Acuérdate de la palabra dada á tu siervo, En la cual me has hecho esperar. | ZAIN Keep in mind your word to your servant, for on it has my hope been fixed. |
| Esta es mi consuelo en mi aflicción: Porque tu dicho me ha vivificado. | This is my comfort in my trouble; that your sayings have given me life. |
| Los soberbios se burlaron mucho de mí: Mas no me he apartado de tu ley. | The men of pride have made great sport of me; but I have not been turned from your law. |
| Acordéme, oh Jehová, de tus juicios antiguos, Y consoléme. | I have kept the memory of your decisions from times past, O Lord; and they have been my comfort. |
| Horror se apoderó de mí, á causa De los impíos que dejan tu ley. | I am burning with wrath, because of the sinners who have given up your law. |
| Cánticos me fueron tus estatutos En la mansión de mis peregrinaciones. | Your rules have been melodies to me, while I have been living in strange lands. |
| Acordéme en la noche de tu nombre, oh Jehová, Y guardé tu ley. | I have given thought to your name in the night, O Lord, and have kept your law. |
| Esto tuve, Porque guardaba tus mandamientos. | This has been true of me, that I have kept your orders in my heart. |
| JET. Mi porción, oh Jehová, Dije, será guardar tus palabras. | CHETH The Lord is my heritage: I have said that I would be ruled by your words. |
| Tu presencia supliqué de todo corazón: Ten misericordia de mí según tu palabra. | I have given my mind to do your pleasure with all my heart; have mercy on me, as you have said. |
| Consideré mis caminos, Y torné mis pies á tus testimonios. | I gave thought to my steps, and my feet were turned into the way of your unchanging word. |
| Apresuréme, y no me retardé En guardar tus mandamientos. | I was quick to do your orders, and let no time be wasted. |
| Compañía de impíos me han robado: Mas no me he olvidado de tu ley. | The cords of evil-doers are round me; but I have kept in mind your law. |
| A media noche me levantaba á alabarte Sobre los juicios de tu justicia. | In the middle of the night I will get up to give you praise, because of all your right decisions. |
| Compañero soy yo de todos los que te temieren Y guardaren tus mandamientos. | I keep company with all your worshippers, and those who have your orders in their memory. |
| De tu misericordia, oh Jehová, está llena la tierra: Enséñame tus estatutos. | The earth, O Lord, is full of your mercy: give me knowledge of your rules. |
| TETH. Bien has hecho con tu siervo, Oh Jehová, conforme á tu palabra. | TETH You have done good to your servant, O Lord, in keeping with your word. |
| Enséñame bondad de sentido y sabiduría; Porque tus mandamientos he creído. | Give me knowledge and good sense; for I have put my faith in your teachings. |
| Antes que fuera yo humillado, descarriado andaba; Mas ahora guardo tu palabra. | Before I was in trouble I went out of the way; but now I keep your word. |
| Bueno eres tú, y bienhechor: Enséñame tus estatutos. | You are good, and your works are good; give me knowledge of your rules. |
| Contra mí forjaron mentira los soberbios: Mas yo guardaré de todo corazón tus mandamientos. | The men of pride have said false things about me; but I will keep your orders in my heart. |
| Engrasóse el corazón de ellos como sebo; Mas yo en tu ley me he deleitado. | Their hearts are shut up with fat; but my delight is in your law. |
| Bueno me es haber sido humillado, Para que aprenda tus estatutos. | It is good for me to have been through trouble; so that I might come to the knowledge of your rules. |
| Mejor me es la ley de tu boca, Que millares de oro y plata. | The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver. |
| YOD. Tus manos me hicieron y me formaron: Hazme entender, y aprenderé tus mandamientos. | JOD Your hands have made me, and given me form: give me wisdom, so that I may have knowledge of your teaching. |
| Los que te temen, me verán, y se alegrarán; Porque en tu palabra he esperado. | Your worshippers will see me and be glad; because my hope has been in your word. |
| Conozco, oh Jehová, que tus juicios son justicia, Y que conforme á tu fidelidad me afligiste. | I have seen, O Lord, that your decisions are right, and that in unchanging faith you have sent trouble on me. |
| Sea ahora tu misericordia para consolarme, Conforme á lo que has dicho á tu siervo. | Let your mercy now be my comfort, as you have said to your servant. |
| Vengan á mí tus misericordias, y viva; Porque tu ley es mi deleite. | Let your gentle mercies come to me, so that I may have life; for your law is my delight. |
| Sean avergonzados los soberbios, porque sin causa me han calumniado: Yo empero, meditaré en tus mandamientos. | Let the men of pride be shamed; because they have falsely given decision against me; but I will give thought to your orders. |
| Tórnense á mí los que te temen Y conocen tus testimonios. | Let your worshippers be turned to me, and those who have knowledge of your words. |
| Sea mi corazón íntegro en tus estatutos; Porque no sea yo avergonzado. | Let all my heart be given to your orders, so that I may not be put to shame. |
| KAF. Desfallece mi alma por tu salud, Esperando en tu palabra. | CAPH My soul is wasted with desire for your salvation: but I have hope in your word. |
| Desfallecieron mis ojos por tu palabra, Diciendo: ¿Cuándo me consolarás? | My eyes are full of weariness with searching for your word, saying, When will you give me comfort? |
| Porque estoy como el odre al humo; Mas no he olvidado tus estatutos. | For I have become like a wine-skin black with smoke; but I still keep the memory of your rules. |
| ¿Cuántos son los días de tu siervo? ¿Cuándo harás juicio contra los que me persiguen? | How short is the life of your servant! when will you give your decision against those who are attacking me? |
| Los soberbios me han cavado hoyos; Mas no obran según tu ley. | The men of pride, who are turned away from your law, have put nets for me. |
| Todos tus mandamientos son verdad: Sin causa me persiguen; ayúdame. | All your teachings are certain; they go after me with evil design; give me your help. |
| Casi me han echado por tierra: Mas yo no he dejado tus mandamientos. | They had almost put an end to me on earth; but I did not give up your orders. |
| Vivifícame conforme á tu misericordia; Y guardaré los testimonios de tu boca. | Give me life in your mercy; so that I may be ruled by the unchanging word of your mouth. |
| LAMED. Para siempre, oh Jehová, Permenece tu palabra en los cielos. | LAMED For ever, O Lord, your word is fixed in heaven. |
| Por generación y generación es tu verdad: Tú afirmaste la tierra, y persevera. | Your faith is unchanging from generation to generation: you have put the earth in its place, and it is not moved. |
| Por tu ordenación perseveran hasta hoy las cosas criadas; Porque todas ellas te sirven. | They are ruled this day by your decisions; for all things are your servants. |
| Si tu ley no hubiese sido mis delicias, Ya en mi aflicción hubiera perecido. | If your law had not been my delight, my troubles would have put an end to me. |
| Nunca jamás me olvidaré de tus mandamientos; Porque con ellos me has vivificado. | I will ever keep your orders in mind; for in them I have life. |
| Tuyo soy yo, guárdame; Porque he buscado tus mandamientos. | I am yours, O be my saviour; for my desire has been for your rules. |
| Los impíos me han aguardado para destruirme: Mas yo entenderé en tus testimonios. | The sinners have been waiting for me to give me up to destruction; but I will give all my mind to your unchanging ward. |
| A toda perfección he visto fin: Ancho sobremanera es tu mandamiento. | I have seen that nothing on earth is complete; but your teaching is very wide. |

| Me has hecho más sabio que mis enemigos con tus mandamientos; Porque me son eternos. | Your teaching has made me wiser than my haters: for it is mine for ever. |
| Más que todos mis enseñadores he entendido: Porque tus testimonios son mi meditación. | I have more knowledge than all my teachers, because I give thought to your unchanging word. |

| No me aparté de tus juicios; Porque tú me enseñaste. | My heart has not been turned away from your decisions; for you have been my teacher. |
| ¡Cuán dulces son á mi paladar tus palabras! Más que la miel á mi boca. | How sweet are your sayings to my taste! truly, they are sweeter than honey in my mouth! |
| De tus mandamientos he adquirido inteligencia: Por tanto he aborrecido todo camino de mentira. | Through your orders I get wisdom; for this reason I am a hater of every false way. |
| NUN. Lámpara es á mis pies tu palabra, Y lumbrera á mi camino. | NUN Your word is a light for my feet, ever shining on my way. |
| Juré y ratifiqué El guardar los juicios de tu justicia. | I have made an oath and kept it, to be guided by your upright decisions. |
| Afligido estoy en gran manera: oh Jehová, Vivifícame conforme á tu palabra. | I am greatly troubled, O Lord, give me life in keeping with your word. |
| Ruégote, oh Jehová, te sean agradables los sacrificios voluntarios de mi boca; Y enséñame tus juicios. | Take, O Lord, the free offerings of my mouth, and give me knowledge of your decisions. |
| De continuo está mi alma en mi mano: Mas no me he olvidado de tu ley. | My soul is ever in danger; but I still keep the memory of your law. |
| Pusiéronme lazo los impíos: Empero yo no me desvié de tus mandamientos. | Sinners have put a net to take me; but I was true to your orders. |
| Por heredad he tomado tus testimonios para siempre; Porque son el gozo de mi corazón. | I have taken your unchanging word as an eternal heritage; for it is the joy of my heart. |
| Mi corazón incliné á poner por obra tus estatutos De continuo, hasta el fin. | My heart is ever ready to keep your rules, even to the end. |
| SAMECH. Los pensamientos vanos aborrezco; Mas amo tu ley. | SAMECH I am a hater of men of doubting mind; but I am a lover of your law. |
| Mi escondedero y mi escudo eres tú: En tu palabra he esperado. | You are my secret place and my breastplate against danger; my hope is in your word. |
| Apartaos de mí, malignos; Pues yo guardaré los mandamientos de mi Dios. | Go far from me, you evil-doers; so that I may keep the teachings of my God. |
| Susténtame conforme á tu palabra, y viviré: Y no me avergüences de mi esperanza. | Be my support as you have said, and give me life; let not my hope be turned to shame. |
| Sosténme, y seré salvo; Y deleitaréme siempre en tus estatutos. | Let me not be moved, and I will be safe, and ever take delight in your rules. |
| Hollaste á todos los que se desvían de tus estatutos: Porque mentira es su engaño. | You have overcome all those who are wandering from your rules; for all their thoughts are false. |
| Como escorias hiciste consumir á todos los impíos de la tierra: Por tanto yo he amado tus testimonios. | All the sinners of the earth are like waste metal in your eyes; and for this cause I give my love to your unchanging word. |
| Mi carne se ha extremecido por temor de ti; Y de tus juicios tengo miedo. | My flesh is moved for fear of you; I give honour to your decisions. |
| AIN. Juicio y justicia he hecho; No me dejes á mis opresores. | AIN I have done what is good and right: you will not give me into the hands of those who are working against me. |
| Responde por tu siervo para bien: No me hagan violencia los soberbios. | Take your servant's interests into your keeping; let me not be crushed by the men of pride. |
| Mis ojos desfallecieron por tu salud, Y por el dicho de tu justicia. | My eyes are wasted with desire for your salvation, and for the word of your righteousness. |
| Haz con tu siervo según tu misericordia, Y enséñame tus estatutos. | Be good to your servant in your mercy, and give me teaching in your rules. |
| Tu siervo soy yo, dame entendimiento; Para que sepa tus testimonios. | I am your servant; give me wisdom, so that I may have knowledge of your unchanging word. |
| Tiempo es de hacer, oh Jehová; Disipado han tu ley. | It is time, O Lord, for you to let your work be seen; for they have made your law without effect. |
| Por eso he amado tus mandamientos Más que el oro, y más que oro muy puro. | For this reason I have greater love far your teachings than for gold, even for shining gold. |
| Por eso todos los mandamientos de todas las cosas estimé rectos: Aborrecí todo camino de mentira. | Because of it I keep straight in all things by your orders; and I am a hater of every false way. |

| El principio de tus palabras alumbra; Hace entender á los simples. | The opening of your words gives light; it gives good sense to the simple. |
| Mi boca abrí y suspiré; Porque deseaba tus mandamientos. | My mouth was open wide, waiting with great desire for your teachings. |
| Mírame, y ten misericordia de mí, Como acostumbras con los que aman tu nombre. | Let your eyes be turned to me, and have mercy on me, as it is right for you to do to those who are lovers of your name. |
| Ordena mis pasos con tu palabra; Y ninguna iniquidad se enseñoree de mí. | Let my steps be guided by your word; and let not sin have control over me. |
| Redímeme de la violencia de los hombres; Y guardaré tus mandamientos. | Make me free from the cruel rule of man; then I will keep your orders. |
| Haz que tu rostro resplandezca sobre tu siervo; Y enséñame tus estatutos. | Let your servant see the shining of your face; give me knowledge of your rules. |
| Ríos de agua descendieron de mis ojos, Porque no guardaban tu ley. | Rivers of water are flowing from my eyes, because men do not keep your law. |
| TZADDI. Justo eres tú, oh Jehová, Y rectos tus juicios. | TZADE O Lord, great is your righteousness, and upright are your decisions. |
| Tus testimonios, que has recomendado, Son rectos y muy fieles. | You have given your unchanging word in righteousness, and it is for ever. |
| Mi celo me ha consumido; Porque mis enemigos se olvidaron de tus palabras. | My passion has overcome me; because my haters are turned away from your words. |
| Sumamente acendrada es tu palabra; Y la ama tu siervo. | Your word is of tested value; and it is dear to your servant. |
| Pequeño soy yo y desechado; Mas no me he olvidado de tus mandamientos. | I am small and of no account; but I keep your orders in mind. |
| Tu justicia es justicia eterna, Y tu ley la verdad. | Your righteousness is an unchanging righteousness, and your law is certain. |
| Aflicción y angustia me hallaron: Mas tus mandamientos fueron mis deleites. | Pain and trouble have overcome me: but your teachings are my delight. |
| Justicia eterna son tus testimonios; Dame entendimiento, y viviré. | The righteousness of your unchanging word is eternal; give me wisdom so that I may have life. |
| COPH. Clamé con todo mi corazón; respóndeme, Jehová, Y guardaré tus estatutos. | KOPH I have made my prayer with all my heart; give answer to me, O Lord: I will keep your rules. |
| A ti clamé; sálvame, Y guardaré tus testimonios. | My cry has gone up to you; take me out of trouble, and I will be guided by your unchanging word. |
| Anticipéme al alba, y clamé: Esperé en tu palabra. | Before the sun is up, my cry for help comes to your ear; my hope is in your words. |
| Previnieron mis ojos las vigilias de la noche, Para meditar en tus dichos. | In the night watches I am awake, so that I may give thought to your saying. |
| Oye mi voz conforme á tu misericordia; Oh Jehová, vivifícame conforme á tu juicio. | Let my voice come to you, in your mercy; O Lord, by your decisions give me life. |
| Acercáronse á la maldad los que me persiguen; Alejáronse de tu ley. | Those who have evil designs against me come near; they are far from your law. |
| Cercano estás tú, oh Jehová; Y todos tus mandamientos son verdad. | You are near, O Lord; and all your teachings are true. |
| Ya ha mucho que he entendido de tus mandamientos, Que para siempre los fundaste. | I have long had knowledge that your unchanging word is for ever. |
| RESH. Mira mi aflicción, y líbrame; Porque de tu ley no me he olvidado. | RESH O see my trouble, and be my saviour; for I keep your law in my mind, |
| Aboga mi causa, y redímeme: Vivifícame con tu dicho. | Undertake my cause, and come to my help, give me life, as you have said. |
| Lejos está de los impíos la salud; Porque no buscan tus estatutos. | Salvation is far from evil-doers; for they have made no search for your rules. |
| Muchas son tus misericordias, oh Jehová: Vivifícame conforme á tus juicios. | Great is the number of your mercies, O Lord; give me life in keeping with your decisions. |
| Muchos son mis perseguidores y mis enemigos; Mas de tus testimonios no me he apartado. | Great is the number of those who are against me; but I have not been turned away from your unchanging word. |
| Veía á los prevaricadores, y carcomíame; Porque no guardaban tus palabras. | I saw with hate those who were untrue to you; for they did not keep your saying. |
| Mira, oh Jehová, que amo tus mandamientos: Vivifícame conforme á tu misericordia. | See how great is my love for your orders: give me life, O Lord, in keeping with your mercy. |
| El principio de tu palabra es verdad; Y eterno es todo juicio de tu justicia. | Your word is true from the first; and your upright decision is unchanging for ever. |
| SIN. Príncipes me han perseguido sin causa; Mas mi corazón tuvo temor de tus palabras. | SHIN Rulers have been cruel to me without cause; but I have the fear of your word in my heart. |
| Gózome yo en tu palabra, Como el que halla muchos despojos. | I am delighted by your saying, like a man who makes discovery of great wealth. |
| La mentira aborrezco y abomino: Tu ley amo. | I am full of hate and disgust for false words; but I am a lover of your law. |
| Siete veces al día te alabo Sobre los juicios de tu justicia. | Seven times a day do I give you praise, because of your upright decisions. |
| Mucha paz tienen los que aman tu ley; Y no hay para ellos tropiezo. | Great peace have lovers of your law; they have no cause for falling. |
| Tu salud he esperado, oh Jehová; Y tus mandamientos he puesto por obra. | Lord, my hope has been in your salvation; and I have kept your teachings. |
| Mi alma ha guardado tus testimonios, Y helos amado en gran manera. | My soul has kept your unchanging word; great is my love for it. |
