Esaïe 21:1 Oracle sur le désert de la mer. Comme s`avance l`ouragan du midi, Il vient du désert, du pays redoutable.	Isaiah 21:1 The burden of the wilderness of the sea. As whirlwinds in the South sweep through, it cometh from the wilderness, from a terrible land.
Esaïe 21:2 Une vision terrible m`a été révélée. L`oppresseur opprime, le dévastateur dévaste. -Monte, Élam! Assiège, Médie! Je fais cesser tous les soupirs. -	Isaiah 21:2 A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous man dealeth treacherously, and the destroyer destroyeth. Go up, O Elam; besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.
Esaïe 21:3 C`est pourquoi mes reins sont remplis d`angoisses; Des douleurs me saisissent, Comme les douleurs d`une femme en travail; Les spasmes m`empêchent d`entendre, Le tremblement m`empêche de voir.	Isaiah 21:3 Therefore are my loins filled with anguish; pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman in travail: I am pained so that I cannot hear; I am dismayed so that I cannot see.
Esaïe 21:4 Mon coeur est troublé, La terreur s`empare de moi; La nuit de mes plaisirs devient une nuit d`épouvante.	Isaiah 21:4 My heart fluttereth, horror hath affrighted me; the twilight that I desired hath been turned into trembling unto me.
Esaïe 21:5 On dresse la table, la garde veille, on mange, on boit... Debout, princes! oignez le bouclier!	Isaiah 21:5 They prepare the table, they set the watch, they eat, they drink: rise up, ye princes, anoint the shield.
Esaïe 21:6 Car ainsi m`a parlé le Seigneur: Va, place la sentinelle; Qu`elle annonce ce qu`elle verra. -	Isaiah 21:6 For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman: let him declare what he seeth:
Esaïe 21:7 Elle vit de la cavalerie, des cavaliers deux à deux, Des cavaliers sur des ânes, des cavaliers sur des chameaux; Et elle était attentive, très attentive.	Isaiah 21:7 and when he seeth a troop, horsemen in pairs, a troop of asses, a troop of camels, he shall hearken diligently with much heed.
Esaïe 21:8 Puis elle s`écria, comme un lion: Seigneur, je me tiens sur la tour toute la journée, Et je suis à mon poste toutes les nuits;	Isaiah 21:8 And he cried as a lion: O Lord, I stand continually upon the watch-tower in the day-time, and am set in my ward whole nights;
Esaïe 21:9 Et voici, il vient de la cavalerie, des cavaliers deux à deux! Elle prit encore la parole, et dit: Elle est tombée, elle est tombée, Babylone, Et toutes les images de ses dieux sont brisées par terre! -	Isaiah 21:9 and, behold, here cometh a troop of men, horsemen in pairs. And he answered and said, Fallen, fallen is Babylon; and all the graven images of her gods are broken unto the ground.
Esaïe 21:10 O mon peuple, qui as été battu comme du grain dans mon aire! Ce que j`ai appris de l`Éternel des armées, Dieu d`Israël, Je vous l`ai annoncé.	Isaiah 21:10 O thou my threshing, and the grain of my floor! that which I have heard from Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.
Esaïe 21:11 Oracle sur Duma. On me crie de Séir: Sentinelle, que dis-tu de la nuit? Sentinelle, que dis-tu de la nuit?	Isaiah 21:11 The burden of Dumah. One calleth unto me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?
Esaïe 21:12 La sentinelle répond: Le matin vient, et la nuit aussi. Si vous voulez interroger, interrogez; Convertissez-vous, et revenez.	Isaiah 21:12 The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will inquire, inquire ye: turn ye, come.
Esaïe 21:13 Oracle sur l`Arabie. Vous passerez la nuit dans les broussailles de l`Arabie, Caravanes de Dedan!	Isaiah 21:13 The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye caravans of Dedanites.
Esaïe 21:14 Portez de l`eau à ceux qui ont soif; Les habitants du pays de Théma Portent du pain aux fugitifs.	Isaiah 21:14 Unto him that was thirsty they brought water; the inhabitants of the land of Tema did meet the fugitives with their bread.
Esaïe 21:15 Car ils fuient devant les épées, Devant l`épée nue, devant l`arc tendu, Devant un combat acharné.	Isaiah 21:15 For they fled away from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.
Esaïe 21:16 Car ainsi m`a parlé le Seigneur: Encore une année, comme les années d`un mercenaire, Et c`en est fait de toute la gloire de Kédar.	Isaiah 21:16 For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of a hireling, all the glory of Kedar shall fail;
Esaïe 21:17 Il ne restera qu`un petit nombre des vaillants archers, fils de Kédar, Car l`Éternel, le Dieu d`Israël, l`a déclaré.	Isaiah 21:17 and the residue of the number of the archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, shall be few; for Jehovah, the God of Israel, hath spoken it.
